Food is always good, they provide very decent portions for lunch and dinner. Server could maybe have one more round of training ;). Thumbs up on the margaritas!

A general rule of thumb to me is, if it’s located in the mall, it’s probably a terrible dining option, and this place definitely follows that rule. We had a medium sized party of like 7 people, and all had margarita pitchers, which had virtually no alcohol in any of them. My carnitas burrito was the driest, toughest pork I’ve ever encountered(think how dry and crunchy the turkey was where Clark Griswold was gnawing on the piece of turkey in Christmas Vacation) it literally bounced off the table in my «drop test» like a marble on glass. Beef jerky is more tender and palatable than this burrito. Their salsa was absolutely repulsive… this terrible blend of ketchup and chef boyardee sauce. I’ll never come back. They do get 1 bonus star for the cherries in the margarita pitchers, those were good. But not $ 20-a-person good.

Service was very fast. Staff was friendly and food was really good. Only downside was the bathroom was very dirty.

Not my favorite El Nopal. The good — friendly service. The bad — too busy with it being a mall location. The food isn’t as good as other locations. Too rushed . Overall, not bad. Nothing special.

The food and service was okay. The server only checked on us once and we had to get our check from a completely different server. The location in LaGrange, KY is much better.

Pretty good mexican place which I ate at since it was connected to my hotel. The restaurant was much better than the Ramada its connected to. Prices were reasonable, beer was cheap, service was good.

Decent Tex Mex. I lived in New Mexico for a year, half an hour’s drive from the border, and often ventured into Juarez before it became one of the homicide capitals of the world… I’ve eaten«authentic» Mexican fare so when I go to places like Nopal for lunch or dinner, I’m under no illusions. This is a good restaurant to grab a quick bite when you’re walking around the mall; the food is not bad and our service was actually very good.

Went here for lunch today at the mall with my girlfriend and the kiddo(5 years old). The server didn’t really care about us, maybe because we are a younger couple and was worried about a tip but regardless you always take care of your guests(being in the service industry for 8 years) well that’s not the only reason for my 1 star. Our kiddo who ate a taco found a piece of hair in his food, yeah sure that happens but the server didn’t care he JUSTDROPPEDTHECHECKANDWALKEDAWAY. I was so appalled I didn’t even feel like wasting my time talking to a manager. FORGETTHISPLACE and their horrible attitudes and okay food.

Maybe I’m just spoiled growing up in Southern California, where Mexican food is everywhere, but the food was just ok to me. It wasn’t fantastic, but it wasn’t bad either. Things were a bit soggy, it was too beany, it wasn’t very flavorful. It was edible and I was starving. I got myself a taco salad, which I shared with my significant other. My mother got a burrito. Both dishes filled us up, but it didn’t excite our taste buds.

This is a standard Mexican place, there are forms of these on most of US cities. This Location, the décor is a bit loud but the food is good, hot, fast and reasonably priced. Margaritas are strong and tasty.
