Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina

It was fresh and interesting inside. I didn’t have the best experience with the service but am willing to give Salsas another go!!!
The tacos were tasty but didn’t stand out too much. I definitely feel like another go around with Salsas would do me well :)

Get the pork quesorito. It is amazing. It is a little noisy, but my husband and I Salsarita’s a lot more than Qdoba. The staff are always friendly. The restaurant is always clean no matter how busy it gets, and it can get busy. Usually there is a line on Sunday’s, but it moves along. I highly recommend eating here!

I love this place. I cant get it off my mind lol. I wish there was one in Phoenix, AZ. Their queso is so addicting and the cooks and cashiers are always so nice and accommodating. The chips are the perfect texture and have the best crunch. I love you Salsaritas. Please come to the West Coast.

I’m a pharmaceutical rep and I need a caterer that I can depend on for my lunches. I had a last minute lunch for 70 that I forgot about and Dave and the team had it together to be delivered on time. I would highly recommend Salsaritas for large and small catering needs. I have used them for all of my lunches in the area and have not been disappointed in their service or food. The offices love their food. They will also work with you on your budget for your lunches.

I come here a lot for lunch and it’s pretty good. Similar to Qdoba in terms of style and price but better in my opinion. Also there’s a patio if it’s nice enough out. Great lunch and staff is always friendly

Worst service ever! My daughter just got a to go meal and had a negative experience. The blond employee approached the counter put on new gloves and then proceeded to leave the counter touch everything in her area including doors. She came back to the counter did NOT change gloves and picked up a tortilla. My daughter asked her to change gloves. The employee created a scene but did change gloves. My daughter did not get the correct meal she ordered, received a family size queso, and no drink for $ 17. She ordered a kid size quesadilla.

This place is pretty good. Better than Moes. Anyway the chips were thin and crispy which is good. You have to pay extra for chips though. To finish off the meal I got 2 orders of the Poquitos for dessert and they are soooooooo good. They are like cinnamon puffs melting in your mouth. Would probably come back.

I recently went to Salsarita’s in St. Matthews for a fundraiser night for Louisville Rugby. My first thought when I walked through the doors was how bright and cheery everything looks. There is plenty of room, a great patio, and pops of color everywhere. I loved the look of their digital menu boards, but I did think it was a little confusing. When I approached the start of the line the server was very friendly but a little rushing. They ask if you want chips with everything you order, but BEWARE if it’s not a combo they will charge you at the end of the line.
I ordered a veggie taco salad and my husband ordered chicken nachos. All the ingredients were very fresh and I the guacamole was actually really awesome! The taco salad was great and they have a great mexican ranch dressing. I did NOT like the tortilla bowl. It was a little greasy and lacked any flavor. My husband liked the chips and toppings but said the queso was just-​OK and he preferred Qdoba.
Overall I would eat at Salsaritas again if we were in the area but I wouldn’t make a special trip. I still prefer Moe’s :)

Simple, yet tasty fresh Mexican. Nothing fancy since it’s counter service. Good value and friendly service. Chips and salsa are the best in town. I will be back.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Louisville. It has a great atmosphere for dining on their patio and enjoying dinner with friends. The food is always fresh and delicious. And the staff is always friendly. We eat here at least once a week. Sometimes more. We always bring our out of town friends and family here for a meal!

If you have ever been to a Chipotle, Qudoba and so on, you most likely have had a similar experience food wise. I would mostly recommend this place because of its staff. They are so friendly. I recommend getting the chips and cheese sauce. The cheese sauce is pretty good. Great consistency! The chips come with some kind of spice. Gives it a bit of a different taste than salt alone.

Very impressed! Went in expecting another qdoba or Mose and was wrong. The brisket tacos are incredible.

There is Chipotle, Qdoba, Moe’s and then there is Salsarita’s! This is by far the best of the smei-​fast food chains of this kind. My stomach never complains after eating here. It’s a pleasure every time.
The food is always fresh and fills you up just right everytime without that «ugh» feeling upon finishing your meal.
Keep doing what you do! Oh yeah, the rewards program is totally worth it. Sometimes I get up to $ 10 off my bill.

Much better than Qdoba.

Best of the mex-​i-​chains, but nothing special.

This joint serves delicious, fresh burritos and some other Americanized Mexican food (or Mexicanized American food if you get the pizza.) The main competition to this place locally is Qdoba, and usually that’s where we get our 900 calorie gut-​bombs. After this visit, though, I decided today that I like Salsarita’s better. For one thing, their shredded pork is delicious and tender. All their other ingredients taste fresher than Qdoba’s. Add to this the fun Latin music and the margaritas, and Qdoba starts looking a little sad.
They have a small selection of beers, including Dos Equis and Modelo.
They do have free wifi, which is awesome.

Gimme cilantro, or give me death.
Salsaritas is one of those places I forget about until we drive past it, and I remember that I LOVE and crave it. First, they have your standard, nicer-​than-​fast-​food but cheaper-​than-​waiter-​service food. Like a Qdoba or Jimmy John’s service and prices.
Every day, they have a special that is a few bucks cheaper than usual.
Margaritas: regular or virgin.
Free wifi.
More veggies and toppings than the other Mexican places like it.
My favorite: Taco salad with shredded pork, tomatoes, pico, cheese, sour cream, black beans, and lots of fresh cilantro. With a Coke Zero…
