This motel was a last-minute booking, as all of my other options were filled. It’s a Mom-n-Pop place, probably built in the 50’s, set back away from the highway. The motel is dated, nothing fancy here. Employees are courteous and friendly. They offer smoking and non-smoking rooms. An air/heating unit is mounted on the back wall, a TV mounted up high in the back corner. I had a single, which afforded me a dresser to one side, with an old office-style chair on rollers. My friend got a double room, and did not have the dresser, as there was no room for one. Each of our rooms had a small apartment sized refrigerator, but no microwave, and no table. The beds were adequate, again, nothing fancy. There used to be baseboard heating, but it wasn’t in operation during my stay. The rooms each had a walk-in closet. The bathrooms had stand-up showers with plenty of hot water, clean towels, etc. But they were a bit small.
