Caramanda’s Cupcakes

Mrs: Caramanda’s has some fantastic cupcakes. While the Mr. is not a huge sweets fan, I grabbed two, having satisfied my need to try more than just one. I tried the Chocolate Cream filled cake, which satisfied my nostalgia for Hostess, and also my go-​to Red Velvet. Both were wonderful.

These are by far the best cupcakes I’ve had in town!
This is a local business based out of Lexington that just recently found its way to Louisville. They are located in the Oxmoor Mall in a kiosk near the central stairs and elevator, close to Eddie Bauer.
My friend and I tried the Italian Cream Cake and the Chocolate Cream filled cake (Hostess style). Both were fantastic! Icing is tasty and cake texture is perfect. Other flavors available that day were carrot cake, red velvet, strawberry shortcake, vanilla with sprinkles and vanilla with chocolate icing. For an extra 25 cents they will add extra icing if that is your preference (I go for the cake).
I am SO super excited and happy to have this spot in the Mall.
