Eh, its okay. I don’t have high expectations for a discount retailer but this one is kind of on the lower end of the scale. Along the lines of a Big Lots in terms of goods and prices, but with less organization and more confusion. They price the items by putting dates on them and the original sticker price and then there are key cards to tell you what percentage discount is applied to an item depending on the date. As in, if you shop in July and an item is dated in April, it might be a 50% discount(or whatever actual percentage applies, just making an example). I understand how it makes it easier for them to turn inventory, but quite frankly, I don’t want to have to consult a cheat sheet and do some mental arithmatic every time I pick up an item that I might vaguely be interested in depending on its price. I do enough math at work, so just give me a plain old easy to read label when I am shopping for cheap junk. The selection was large but not all that great. I mean, if you feel like browsing then it isn’t a bad place to stop and you might find a deal since inventory changes often. But IMO, the deals aren’t better than the big box competitors overall and a fair number of items didn’t have a date code on them so they were still sticker price. The furniture area had some decent pieces. The place was fairly clean and the parking lot is large although annoying to exit onto Outer Loop if you want to make a left towards Preston. Cut over to the side of the lot and make a right on Preston northbound instead if headed into town or to the Watterson. I would stop by if I was in the area and kind of aimlessly shopping but I wouldn’t make a special trip here.
