I had the burger and chips. It was wonderful, and the portions were good. I’ll be returning soon!

So ive been to the deli a few times since they’ve opened, waiting for a bit of experience with the place to actually review. Most of the items ive ordered come across as oily. My chicken salad – OILY – mashed potatoes – OILY. Green beans — OILY. don’t think i would recommend or go back. :-[

For the flavor and quality, I would give it five stars. But it is expensive and the portions are a little smaller than I would expect for a lunch place. The staff are really helpful. You don’t order your to-go meal at the counter, but at a different desk. I had the tomato-mozzarella-basil salad. It was so good, although the sea salt was a little heavier than I needed. It is a small portion, but I realize that I’m probably supposed to order both a salad and a sandwich. I just don’t like giant hunks of bread in the middle of the day. The quality of the ingredients was great! Delish. I also had some chips and one of those sparkly lemon Italian soda-things. All for $ 10, and I tipped. Not bad(it did fill me up for a little while), and super-fast.

My friends and I stopped in to try 321 Deli today. There was a very limited selection and it is carry out only, but we were able to find a table outside to sit and eat our lunch. Two of us chose the 3 Little Pigs pork barbecue sandwich, which sounded good on the menu, but we soon found out it was full of fat. Two friends got the turkey sandwich. The bread was so stale that it crumbled when they tried to take a bite. Our lunches were around $ 10 for a sandwich and soft drink. That did not even include a side! It was an expensive and disappointing lunch.

This place seemed very disorganized. It’s confusing because half of the restaurant is a deli, carry out style and the other half is a restaurant. But apparently they serve the same menu so the management wants you to sit in the restaurant because the servers are making tips. I went to order and the guy at the register was having trouble with the computer so he disappeared for a few minutes. We ordered the Reubenish sandwich with turkey and the salmon sandwich. Turkey reuban was good, but nothing over the top. Good amount of meat on it, but would be nice if it came with a small side. Salmon sandwich was different, my husband loved it and I ate it, but wouldn’t necessarily order again. There are a lot of things on the menu that looks good, maybe I’ll come back after they’ve been open for awhile. The people working seemed to lack enthusiasm and the prices are a little high. I don’t mind paying top dollar for a great sandwich, but it’s gotta be good.

Great place to grab a sandwich in downtown. I had the turkey/apple sandwich. It was a good combination. The sandwich alone would have rated this place 3 stars, but the sides were enough to raise it a star. The brussels sprouts were awesome, as were the cheese grits and pickled veggies. A great option for something other then chips. Definitely worth a trip back.

321 Deli is part of a trio of new restaurants that recently opened up downtown(Down One Bourbon Bar and 2 Dips & a Shake are the other two restaurants). I popped in there today(3⁄20) for lunch to see what they had to offer. I tried the three little pigs sandwich and the braised collared greens. The three little pig sandwich has pork belly, pulled pork, and bacon as the main components. Need I say more? I didn’t think so. But in case you were wondering the sandwich also has mustard, slaw, and pickles on it to add a nice twang to balance out the saltiness of the meats. The side of greens were tender, had nice chunks of bacon in them, and slightly vinegary, — the perfect side to my sandwich. For my sandwich and side it was a little over $ 10. While that might be a little higher than the average price for lunch downtown, the portions and quality of the food you get are well worth the $ 10. 321 Deli is also a traditional deli where you can buy meat and sides by the pound. Everything they had on display looked delicious. 321 is a nice addition to the downtown dining landscape. I’ll definitely be back soon so I can work on making my way through the rest of the menu.
