Processed a transfer from an online shop to 111 smooth transaction… flawless would be proper word to use and picked up some ammo for a great price

Kind of like the Dos Equis commercial, I don’t always fantasize about being a gun owner but when I do I fantasize about the guns here at 111 Gun Shop. They may be a smaller store which inevitably means a smaller selection of guns, but their selection is a good one with great and fair prices for both the used and new guns being sold. A majority of the guns being sold at 111 Gun Shop have been used, but they all appeared to be within good shape so you can rest assured that they’re adequately taking care of their «babies». There are some brand new guns here, but that doesn’t seem to make up a bulk of their selection.
You may as well opt for the used guns because not only do they look brand new, they are also offered at great prices. I can’t tell you what the exact prices are for their shotguns versus their handguns, but I can tell you that you’d be walking away one happy camper. I may not be the gun aficionado, but I trust my gun-​owning fiancé who says that you can find some bangin’ deals here. Not only were there awesome deals, there were some beautiful guns there. Yes, I said the guns were beautiful because they really were.
Besides all this, the staff there are super awesome and knowledgable about the guns themselves. The staff were extremely willing to have conversations with us; they couldn’t have been more friendly or goofy for that matter. If I lived in Kentucky and wanted to buy a gun then I would, without a doubt, buy one from 111 Gun Shop.

As for the gun store itself it’s good, but the gunsmithing is way below par, took them 3 times and it still wasn’t fixed

My Favorite gun shop by far. The staff is friendly, and helpful no hard sell. Prices are great and transfer fee is the best in town. They also handle a lot of consignment and estate items so you can find some cool stuff that none of the box store and most of the other gin shops don’t have.

Was treated rudely twice .
First time I asked if they could order a gun for me and while they looked in a catalog i told the clerk the exact model I wanted and he snapped «What do want from me then? «
Second time looking at a used gun, I said something about the gun and clerk told me he did not know anything about it, he only knew 1911’s and AR’s, then proceded to talk to another visitor about something else while I was still holding the gun.

I have purchased several guns from 111 and I have been very pleased with the service and pricing. They also offer consignment services at a fair rate. I will continue to purchase items from there in the near future.

Received a Glock 19 9 mm as a gift. Went back to 111 with the gift-​giver and receipt for $ 560, less than a week old. Was informed that my G19 had «depreciated» by about $ 160 in those few days, was now considered «used» by Federal law, so could not possibly be sold for full/​new value or my original purchase price. Asked to see the owner, who was also female. She «discounted» the smaller G27 a little but I still wound up paying an additional $ 35ish for a lesser-​valued firearm. I understand about the Federal law issue, but this entire thing was BS bordering on scam. Will NEVER patronize that store for so much as one bullet’s purchase.

I’ve been going to this place since I’ve moved to Louisville a few years back and this place is my go to gun shop. They give you fair prices on trades, good selection, friendly and knowledgeable. Their on site armorer does good world also. They’ve done right by me and I’ll continue to patron this place!

When I first saw the sign go up on Hurstbourne Lane, I thought «that can’t be good». But, with some strict exceptions, I’ll usually give any place at least one shot (pun intended).
I’m no expert in the local firearm supply shops, but this place isn’t bad at all. Sure, it’s a a bit small, but they still have a decent selection… they even have a stock of 1930’s era Mosin Nagant M91/​30 rifles in good condition for you fans of them.
Though I am usually just browsing to kill time at lunch, they’ve always been helpful and informative.
