Being new to Virginia and Louisa, it was recommended that we try Tuesday Pasta Night. If all of their menu is as wonderful as our Pasta dinner, don’t walk but RUN to this restaurant! The food and staff and atmosphere are wonderful. Casual, but special. I can imagine a great lunch spot or a romantic dinner! Family style salad was not only delicious, but a special touch!

Outstanding food and service. We ate dinner here last night and everything from the bread and olive oil to the desserts were home made and above all expectations. I am going to be here a lot more. The fryer was down so my normal go to of fried oysters was off the menu. But wait, the chef had a solution. Oysters in a mushroom cream sauce with fine spaghetti. Amazing. My partner had the mushroom ravioli made with locally sourced mushrooms and she was very pleased. We had ordered the potato skin appetizer but never expected that it would be a huge plate of creamy cheesy goodness with chives and bacon. The chocolate peanut butter pie and blueberry crumble cobbler were a perfect ending to a great dining experience. Next on the menu, who knows? It’s between a steak, pork chop, red snapper, oysters, it’s just too hard to decide but a good problem to have.

Either the restaurant changed owners or the other reviewers had incredible luck! I had the two out of three choice from the menu and chose the New England clam chowder and the chicken salad. I asked that the bread be substituted for French fries, since there were no gluten-free options. The chicken salad was good, but the French fries were cold and the soup was very watered down.

Great place! My hubby and I stopped to grab lunch and we had a very pleasant time. Our waitress, Erin was awesome! Prices were great and the food was very yummy! I would recommend stopping next time you are in Louisa!

Yesterday was my 2nd visit. A bit disappointed. The first visit July 1, the calamari and pizza were excellent! Calamari was fresh, light and by far the best calamari I have ever had. Pizza was more like brick oven. 2nd visit, July 31, pizza was soggy and calamari didn’t taste as fresh, too much breading and greasy. On a positive note, waitress was excellent!

Terrific fried oysters. Prime Rib special was perhaps the tastiest I’ve ever had. Wine selections were interesting and affordable with great descriptions by the owner. Center of the community where everyone is friendly. Bathroom art is a must-see as well!

This place is a little diamond in the rough. It is very nicely put together, everything is freak and made to order, and there is zero competition in this area for a nice meal. The service is a little slow, but that is to be expected, and not minded once you taste the food. The homemade chios are always yummy and the pasta dishes never dissapoint. Also, very much love the flatbread pizza specials and the ceasars salad.

We eat here on a regular basis because it’s close to home. But it is really hit or miss…

Food was good. Decent selection of basic beer and wine. A little heavy on the southern charm. Drink menu is pasted inside a Garden&Gun magazine! Waitress completely screwed up the order and the check wasn’t itemized.

You MUST have the calamari! Unquestionably the best in the country. Fresh, tender and ever so lightly breaded. Their menu/special options are first rate. It goes without saying that they are the best in Louisa, but I would go as far as saying they are the best restaurant south of NoVA. A MUST if you are in the area.

I always stop here to eat whenever I am in the area. It is quite a find for little olé Louisa. The menu has many inspired choices and they always have some incredible specials. I have tried just about everything and always enjoyed my meal. I especially love their Paella(a Saturday night special). The restaurant’s name(«thank you» in Portuguese) is well deserved as the service is always prompt, courteous and gracious. They used to have a back room where they had live music on weekends. Sadly, that is gone now. But I still come back for a lovely meal.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. There only appeared to be one person working the dining area and service was extremely slow. My burger was okay and my partner had the quesadilla and did not care for the taste of the chicken.
