Wonderful food, a great outdoor space and impeccable service from Stephanie, who recommended a bottle of Greek wine which was absolutely perfect with the dishes we ordered.

Absolutely the best! We have eaten here twice and both times our lunch has been extremely memorable! The food and service is out of this world! Highly recommend the thin crust pizza and the greek donuts! Delish!

What’s not to love about the town of los Olivos? The food was excellent. The meatballs were delicious. And the watermelon salad was succulents. I hope to return soon to try out other items. Everything we had was very good.

Although the food was good, the service was not. By the time we left, we still had no clue who our waitress was. We had to ask for our bill from other workers walking by our table. We also had to ask for drink refills.

Petros in Los Olivos had the perfect setting for our Baby Shower. The apple chicken salad was delicious and we had many compliments from our guests. We also served Lamb pizza and meatballs… all excellent. They were so pleasant to work with. We have no complaints about anything. We will most certainly be back.

Another wine trip to Los Olivos and a visit to our favorite lunch spot. I took 4 other girlfriends and they all enjoyed their food. It was pretty busy on the patio and it did take a long time to get our food, but the quality was great! It was a lazy day so while the wait was a bit long, we made the best of it.

We’ve been here a few times(see my breakfast review). I like breakfast and the menu is tasty. Dinner has been really good, but the last time we went with a party of 6 they did not cook my wife’s rack of lamb property(overdone) and they did cook my Rib-eye Cap the way I asked(medium-rare). They replaced it but I ended up being the only eating by the time it came back. It also took over 2 hours to get to us… it was not crowded or really busy either. Dinner ended up taking 2.5 hours. The biggest issue this place has is service. Waitresses are fine but something is going on. They are always slow, but this last time was excruciating. It takes about 15 minutes to get a glass of wine and the dinner didn’t come out until 1.5 hours from the time we ordered is. We had two kids with us so they were done before we had our meals(which is a problem if you’re a parent because they don’t have anything to occupy themselves with). I also noticed that even though our party was small, tip was added into the bill for us. We were not comped anything for the extra long wait and the bad meal. The food is really good, but service is really slow. Dinner is hit and miss too.

Love the food and location. Speaking only of the wait staff, they need training and supervision. Been here at least 8 times. Service varies based solely on the waiter… Two days in a row we brought our money because of the food and and atmosphere. Two days in a row our service was bad. The second day was horrible. 35 minutes to get our first glass of wine and appetizer which was an incorrect order. Took way too long for the corrected appetizer. Yesterday’s waitress was OBVIOUSLYANGRY at us for tipping 15% before tax as one should on our meal. We ALMOST always tip 20% and only tip less when service is just plain poor and stays poor throughout the meal. Both days our waitresses said that they were really busy as an excuse for slow service such as empty water glasses for at least 15 minutes etc., etc. Daughter’s food came out COLD… Day two was NOT too busy as we ate lunch at 2 pm… Go for the food, and incist for their BEST waiter. Again, this is a management issue of lack of training and supervision, not the end waiters fault…

If I could give les than 1 star I would I was so excited to try this place. On my home from dr. HORRIBLESERVICE!!! Not busy noooo excuse!!! I felt like I was a bother! I had to remind the staff to bring napkin after they delivered food then it gets cold! Not enough bread which the waitress new and said when I ordered. She said you can order more bread if you need! Of course not enough but not that I need more so I asked for some more pita bread literally 12 minutes to bring! Never noticed my glass was empty to offer more! So Sad I guess they have the not so good! Staff work on Mondays! Not sure I wildebeest con back! For sure I wouldn’t bring clients to impress when the food arrived it was good!

Ok how can I complain? I’m in the middle of wine country at a great little restaurant. First things first, parking, parking was not a problem for me as I was lucky to just pull right up front… maybe because it was a weekday. I walked the very small town and decided to try the food at Petros as it was Greek so how could I go wrong right? I ordered the dip sampler, wine, a lamb/meat burger and some soup… all of which was delicious! They offer 2 different soups and I was concerned with which one to eat so I was offered a sampling of both soups, I got the bean soup as I found the lemon/chicken soup to be a little to lemony for me. The bread is amazing, it comes out hot with a «hummus» type of a dip which compliments the bread. I would suggest coming to the restaurant for a casual, yet delicious lunch.

Food was really tasty. We split the Greek Burger with fries and it hit the spot. The perfect place to sit outside on a beautiful day. The first restaurant I have ever been to though that you needed a code to use the bathroom.

Lovely restaurant with a great patio and courtyard located in the Fess Parker inn. I thought the food was fresh and flavorful and a great setting. Large variety of food for most pallets but do be aware the love their garlic here. I can feel it seeping out of my pours but it was worth it. The salads are fresh and flavorful. The small plates area nice portions and the lunch entrees and great deal. I think almost all the lunch items are $ 8 – 16. And don’t forget the Fess Parker wines. Yup it’s a great place to at when in Los Olivos.

Stopped in just for a glass of wine hoping to sit at the bar or in their cozy lounge. No seating was available and the servers, offered us a table in dining area near the fire. We were treated so well that we decided to try an appetizer seeing we were killing time until our reservation was available across the street. The appetizer was delicious and four varietals of wine selections we chose were outstanding also.

I personally had a great experience here and will definitely be back. First, it was a Sunday and no where was serving brunch until noon. And I REALY wanted brunch food, specifically eggs benedict. I made a quick call to Petros to find out they were indeed serving brunch until 12. YES! I practically ran down the street thinking how glad I was not to be wearing heels. The four of us had 2 pups with us. I was worried because it did not look like a place that’d accept dogs. I was wrong! We walked straight through this gorgeous restaurant to the equally gorgeous back patio. Plenty of umbrellas. Some seating had a little sun, some didn’t. We took our pick. Our service was nothing but fantastic. My eggs benedict were served with the thickest Canadian ham… scrumptious. And I wasn’t sharing. I even got a side of bacon– perfectly done. I ordered a glass of OJ. It was enormous ! And fresh and delicious. I was on a super-duper sugar high when eating those eggs. Everyone else loved their dishes as well… Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend.

AMBIANCE: The patio looked nice(at night, the bushes light up) and the restaurant looked dark and better suited for dinner, so we sat in the bar area, which was not only clean, airy, comfortable and modern but also ensured us great service. FOOD: The dip platter is a must– different and powerful but well-balanced flavors and textures, perfect for 2 people. The chicken spaghetti was so-o-o-o-o good: yummy sauce with a hint of heat, chicken chunks, and a big helping of al dente pasta. The menu was interesting, but I may have to get the chicken spaghetti again. Returned again in 8⁄2015 and had the strawberry dessert w/whipped cream, ice cream and cripsy wafers. Yum. ONLYNEGATIVES: Weak weak drinks. Both in 5⁄2015 and 8⁄2015(different servers) my vodka cranberry was stop sign red, so I won’t be returning for cocktails. And we weren’t offered the bread, oil, and potato garlic spread mentioned in Veronika O’s review. Sounds good– like she made her Veronika O face.

Meh, is the best feeling or word to describe Petros. The one thing they have going for them is the fact they have zero competition for dinning after 8pm on a Sunday night. My party of 7 walked in on a quiet evening and received what I would consider to be Sub par service. I am no expert but have checked in to over 4,000 establishments in my short 4 years as a Unilocal member. The service and experience should live up to the menu price points(appetizers starting at $ 12 average entrée price $ 30). I can say the filet mignon and lamb pasta were tasty. The filet was cooked to a perfect temperature and served with a delicious horseradish sauce. The braised lamb was spicy and rich. The kind of dish that warms you; comforting. Delicious and large portion. If you have no other options but to eat here I recommend the two dishes. The cheese«pizza» is best as a dessert. As its a cheese flatbread drizzled with honey. All in all, for my experience they earn 4 stars for food, 2 stars for service so I split the difference and gave them 3. I would not go out of my way to return for dinner but would visit the bar. Good cocktails

The good first: service was friendly, and prompt. They accommodated us bringing our own bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. Also, I really enjoyed my baby rack of lamb. It was cooked very well, and was delicious. Unfortunately, they masked half the plate with salad. Now the bad: for a starter, we ordered the fried calamari, which arrived in less than 10 mins, which was a red flag. The calamari was greasy, and had WAYTOOMUCHGARLIC, AND overwhelming amount in fact!(Please see photos) My girlfriend ordered the Filet Mignon, but what she received looked more lake an overcooked hamburger patty, definitely not like any filet mignon I’ve ever seen!(Please look at the photos) very disappointing! Again, though, I want to stress that this was no reflection on the service staff, they were great.

We came here for lunch between tastings and our whole party was very impressed. Originally we stopped in to use the restrooms but were so impressed by the menu that we had to try it. We decided to order tapas style and share a bunch of appetizers between the four of us. I highly recommend this because you get a unique opportunity to try so many dishes. Everything was top notch. The watermelon salad was a standout favorite. It was served with heirloom tomatoes, feta and mint — outstanding combo! The spanakopita was light and perfectly flavored, it came with a delicious cucumber yogurt dip. We also loved the warm pita dip was eggplant spread, meatballs and ahi tuna cucumber cups. The air conditioning was a little strong for me, but there were several fireplaces which created warmth and and nice atmosphere. Even during the summer it was a really nice touch. The restrooms were clean and nice. Service was great.
