I tolerated this place up until today. It was very busy went around 1pm. The dough wasn’t made when we came in so had to wait awhile for that, the two people working seemed irritated that they were there, the soda machine was broken(used my free rewards for two sodas so that was a waste), customers were irritable and it was so hot inside! My stomach now hurts & I feel gross from eating there. Totally turned off from this place now! Won’t go back again.

Been here a couple of times and can now say that this is probably one of my favorite places for customized personal pizzas. I love that they have so many different options for dough(gluten free, wheat, and regular dough). The options don’t stop there as they have a large amount of choices for dips, meats, and veggies — all that seem to look very fresh! Employees have always been very nice and helpful to me every time I come to eat here. There was even a time when they messed up my order, they didn’t hesitate to make me an entirely new pizza. Although the place is small(only about six tables inside) they have some outdoor seating with huge heaters to help customers stay warm on cold nights.

Ordered the Leo’s Chickenlicious, and, boy, it was soooo good! I shared it with the boo and wish I had gotten my own! lol But couldn’t ruin the wedding meal we were gonna eat later! It is like a Chipotle style pizza place(like Blaze.) but smaller scale. It came out piping out from the oven! Only 2 employees present but they did a great job! Two other parties were eating a pizza with huge leaves… basil? but it looked delicious! Would love to return to try that!

My first time here and it was deeeeelicious! I loved being able to pick out as many toppings as I wanted. Everything was very fresh and tasty. After the pizza toppings were on it and put into the oven it only took a few minutes before it was in front of us ready to eat. Perfect place for people who have different tastes in pizza. Not to mention my one and a half-year-old daughter loved all the healthy toppings i picked off for her. I also really like that you can put ingredients on top of the pizza after it’s been cooked like cilantro and banana peppers. We would definitely go back again even if it’s further than we like to drive from where we live.

My new fav pizza place in Los Gatos! I’ve been trying place for a 2 months and the experience has always been great. Their dough is fresh(try the whole wheat) and you can custom make your pizza with lots of options. If you like thin crust pizza give this place a try!

I really like the selection of toppings that they have available at Top this but find the cooking of the crust to be a little hit and miss. Sometimes it is pretty good but sometimes it is overly crispy or gooey. The pizza oven also is not large so if you happen to hit them with a crowd they do get really backed up. Their salads are also build your own which I like also. Last time I was there the pizza crust was really way too crispy for me but also chewy at the same time. On other occasions has often been cooked ok on top but burnt on bottom.

The vibe is gone! I was a long time customer at Top This! This place used to be good. Had good pizza and the employees were awesome! Now for some reason the original owners sold the place and the new owners have no idea what they are doing. The pizzas were thin before but now they are like sheets of paper. The garlic sauce isn’t the same. The vibe in this place is gone. I’m sure the new owners mean well but they have a lot to learn about the restaurant business. It isn’t all about the food. It’s also about customer relations and providing an inviting place for your patrons. I wish them well but I won’t be going back.

Guess Danielle must have went in at an awesome time because for me it was awful! Miss the old employees who always greeted my family! These people don’t know what they’re doing at all. Using the same gloves after they touch their phones and not washing their hands. It’s gross I didn’t even eat my pizza because I was so grossed out. There’s 3 bad reviews in the last two days and then all the sudden 5 stars. Must be begging for good reviews.

LOVE this place!!! The best place in the Valley for individual, artisanal quick pizzas. The food is exceptional and I know I’m going to be a regular here, especially since my 11-year-old can eat here every single night. The pizza crust was incredibly tasty, very flavorful, with just the right combination of crispy and chewy texture. The servers were very generous with the very fresh toppings. The various sauces were delicious! We tried all of them and especially love their pesto. As a vegan, I especially appreciate their vegan cheese & excellent variety of yummy veggie options. The vibe here is definitely friendly & upbeat. New owners are a wonderful family & they went out of their way to be accommodating. New staff members were putting forward diligent effort & far friendlier & gracious than former employees. Great food. Great staff. Great atmosphere.

NO, NO, NO =(. It saddens me to write this updated review. Went into today for an early dinner, walked in & noticed IMMEDIATELY that the vibe was different. Started to really look around the place & realized certain wall hangings were missing, the TVs weren’t on & the employees had zero energy to them. Then, my bf asked if there was new owners… the answer was YES. Aha! Okay, so that doesn’t necessarily mean the food will change, right? WRONG. I ordered a vegetarian pizza on wheat. The kid making my pizza had to have been new but even so, how does *anyone* not know how to make a pizza??? You spread on the sauce, place the cheese & toppings on evenly, bake it & voila! My pizza looked like a train wreck when it came out of the oven. Also, I noticed that my pizza was done before my bf’s so while the kid could’ve sliced up my pizza & served me(or asked someone else to), he let it sit on the counter while my bf’s pizza continued to cook — SIGH. The owner’s son(?) was being polite and asking how our food was but honestly, the crust was different. The old owners knew how to make a GOOD chewy thin dough but my pizza was more like a thin rubbery cracker. I told him honestly I thought the pizza was ‘just ok’ and my bf, being polite, said his was good but when we walked out of there he said it tasted different. We both, spoke at the same time stating«Yeahhh, we’re NOT coming back!!!». Nope, no sir. I hope the new owners can pull it together. Honestly, with the vibe inside being so serious & quiet and then their pizzas tasted… well, like crap? I just can’t bring myself to give them another shot. So sad!!! We used to be regulars & came every week. Will have to stick with Golden Mushroom or Round Table for now. No more…

Top This Pizza is a great little fast & quick pizza joint. My daughter LOVES their gluten free pizza and especially loves that she can customize her pizza and add only the toppings she wants. The staff at Top This Pizza always puts foil under her gluten free crust, so that it does not cross-contaminate with the other wheat pizzas that are placed in their oven. For some reason, the gluten free crust tends to burn, so I always ask the staff to take it out of the oven a little earlier. They have a self serve Pepsi fountain(wish it were Coke!) as well as salads and a couple of types of cookies/rice crispy treats. I also really like that they have outdoor seating!

These chipotle style pizza places seem to be multiplying like rabbits. Two chains from Socal are coming in and now one from Seattle it seems. Top This is a local unit trying to compete with these chains. So far none of them has set up shop in Los Gatos but apparently Top This is preparing to go head to head with Blaze in Almaden Valley. Anyway, this is 3rd of these places I have tried after Pieology and Blaze. pros: It’s a smaller less hectic shop than the others, probably not a good sign for long term viability however. Ingredients on par with Pieology. cons: pizza crust on the smaller side compared to competitors. Process of putting ingredients on is just not as smooth as the way competitors handle it. Overall, the pizza tasted good and came out reasonably fast at a good price. However, if I was in Almaden and had to choose between Top This and Blaze, I would be eating at Blaze.

Been here twice in the past 6 months. The personal pizza’s are nice, if you have a big appetite than you will need 2 pizza’s. The cost is $ 8/$ 9 each, they do charge extra for the special toppings. Nice indoor & outdoor seating. Also, be carful when eating, they come right out of the oven boiling hot, I should know, it burned the bridge of my mouth. Ouch!

Best pizza place. Period. They forgot to add cilantro to my loaded pizza, but I dint say anything. Just after my first bite the guy came running out to apologize, and offered to add it then. But the pizza was still amazing. Good service and good food, way to go!

Amazinggg pizza!(If youre looking for thin crust). the idea of it is kinda like pieology, but I personally like it better because the dough is not so thin that every bite is crunchy like chips or burnt around the edges. We had the tyler trio and some pesto chicken w/mozzarella. Both super good, and definitely recommend the tyler trio. I havent tried customizing my own so i’m not sure how generous they are with toppings. They have some deals too, which is nice if you eat with 3 – 4 people!

I have to start out with the fact that I love Pieology, so when I found out that there was a place similar, I had to go and try it out. I can honestly say that this place is great! Top This Pizza simply has more options to customize your yummy pizza. They have 3 types of crust: herb infused traditional, herb infused whole wheat, and gluten free(add 2.00). They also have a bunch of different sauces classic red, zesty red, pesto, garlic alfredo BBQ, and butter garlic. All of the sauces are great and at a great low price. They have great customer service, a great end product, and amazing garlic cheese strips. Can’t wait for my next visit, which will probably be tomorrow.

A lot better than Pieology. You will not get undercooked crusts, overcooked edges, and overloaded, not distributed evenly toppings. More variety. The garlic cheese strips — GETIT! Thanks to Groupon otherwise I would have stuck to mediocre. A pizza will run you under $ 11 but can feed up to 3 if you aren’t a fat ass. Service was great. No complaints.

As a vegan, it was refreshing being confident in all of the food. No matter how many questions I asked, they were incredibly helpful, explaining all of their ingredients and cooking methods. Fantastic service, low price, and great pizza! My order: Gluten free crust(rice based), savory BBQ sauce, daiya vegan cheese, onions, green peppers, red peppers, banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes, garlic, artichoke, fresh basil and spinach with garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and more herbs.

It’s hard not to crave pizza when youre on other side of the world … Vietnam to be exact. I came here about a week before i left for vacation(which has been about 2 weeks now). I really want some good ass food from America right now, so … i guess i’ll just write a review… :/ Think of this place as another Pieology, but in Los Gatos, and… not so crowded. I came here with a friend for quick bite to eat before we both headed to work. I got the Make Your Own Pizza — with the Traditional Herb Infused dough, and half creamy Alfredo and Zesty Red as the sauce and other toppings such as italian sausage, red onions, mushrooms, pineapples… etc. I had them put ranch drizzle and gorgonzola crumbles as my finish and my total came out to be around $ 9. They bring the pizza out to you and it was soooo goood. You can put as much toppings and meat as you want, but i opted for just a two or three from each section. The crust was crispy and delicious. I enjoyed the Creamy Garlic Alfredo side of my pizza, but i wasnt as fond as their Zesty Red — a little too tangy for my taste that day. Customer service is great — but only because we were teh only 2 in the restaurant. They only had one person working the pizza station when we came in, so i had to wait for my friend to finish his pizza before i could start mine. I believe if a hoard of about 5 or more people, it would really back up and take too much time. I would def come here again — close by to my house and delicious!

Purchased a groupon for this place since pizza is my favorite food and its closeby to home. It wasn’t too packed on a Friday evening, but the place is small so it’s hard to grab a table inside as there’s only about 6 – 8 tables. They have a nice covered outdoor area, but it would only be nice when the weather is warm. Similar concept to Pieology, choosing the crust, which I do like how they have wheat as an option or gluten free for an extra $ 2. I chose the pesto and I like how they have garlic chicken and chorizo as meat options as well. Ample choices of veggies, and baked to perfection. There was a call in order before our order, so my order took a lot longer, about 15 – 20 minutes? They did hand me an extra pizza, which I gave back to them as it would suck for the person who would have to wait all over again. I did take it to go, which worked out since there were no tables left, so about 15 minutes later, it did get a bit too soggy. I would prefer to eat it there while it’s fresh and crispy from the thin crust. I enjoyed my pizza, and for $ 8 and 4 slightly large slices, it’s a good deal. I did try the garlic alfredo sauce pizza from my brother and wasn’t a fan. It tasted too heavy for my taste. They also accept Five Stars which is a plus, buy 10 pizzas and get 1 free! Staff here is friendly but again, I’ll have to try the pizza again on the spot for the fresher crispier taste!
