Inner Journey

There are not that many metaphysical stores in the bay area. There are only a few. Many have closed because I guess in the bay area in general, metaphysical/​spiritual stores are not that popular. This store I believe is one of the few that’s still in business in the South Bay.
I bought an amethyst pendant here. The chains they were selling did not go well with the piece I was purchasing, and their chain selection was minimal. I was a little disappointed that their jewelry selection was not as much as I imagined it would be. They do have beautiful rings and earrings, but the prices are a bit high. I fell in love with these green quartz hoop earrings, but they were pricey for me to afford.
They have plenty of spiritual books, from all world religions. They also have a neat selection of handmade blank note cards, which I love. Oh! They have a ton of incense, so if you’re into that stuff, their section in the back is pretty cool.
Since I’m in the environmental/​geology field, I was surprised to see their selection of crystals/​gemstones showcased. I didn’t see a whole lot of other tumbled stones I was trying to find. Maybe I was thinking too much, but their selection was not as much as this one crystal store I have visited in SF.
Not bad for being in the South Bay though…

This store had very unwelcoming aura about it. There’s something unbalanced in there and really needs to be cleared before they will find long term success in that location.
There is an element of rudeness, defensiveness, aggressiveness and unwillingness to communicate with others, which makes me think this energy is deeply unhealthy. I’ve been in there numerous times and the vibe hasn’t changed.
I love metaphysical stores, and I try to support them whenever I’m in the area with my patronage, but there’s just nothing here in the Bay Area quite like the kinds of stores I find elsewhere.
I didn’t find Inner Journey to be very knowledgeable at all. The bay area hasn’t had the best selections of long-​standing new-​age stores outside of East/​West, so that may be why some here find this store worthwhile. I’ve heard from folks who have taught there that their rates are borderline highway robbery.
If you get around to it, make the trip up to Boulder Creek and visit Air and Fire. The energy there is much deeper and sacred, very well cared for. Or check out East/​West in Mountain View which seems to have a great selection, if more geared towards the Eastern Beliefs. they have a phenomenal section covering all sorts of other beliefs. Go check out those two stores, compare them with Inner Journey, and you’ll understand what I mean when I say there is something completely off about this store’s energy.
Do yourself a favor, for the future of your store, and hire someone to clear the energy there.

Cathy Young the owner of the Inner Journey is great and will go out of her way to make sure you find what you are looking for. I was looking for the Rohrig Tarot deck that is now out of print, I had searched the web for an English version and at the time one year ago they where not to be found for a reasonable price. Cathy searched her storage room and came out with 2 decks one for me and one for my girlfriend (demo decks) and gave them to us. Wow, I still can’t believe her generosity and I will always shop at the Inner Journey when in need of a metaphysical book or more… checkout the store for yourself and enjoy!

Very good, karmic atmosphere and a store deep respect for all religions, in supplement with Moonfyre Metaphysical in Campbell, Ca. Very professional staff and a plethora of information. This store also has classes on all unknown subjects.
This store has all the needs for preparation of your altar and the staff are very well educated on aspects of all religions, relating to Buddha, Catholicism, Christianity, Wicca, Shaman, Shendo, and all other religions in the western world. Reiki is their strongest asset, and HiC’s celebration of all seasons, and accurate readings… phenomenal.
They have all the tools that Harry Potter can use. Please come to this store. It’s a place that you will really enjoy.

A new age store with everything from clothing, music, books, jewelry, knick knacks and much much more. Cool place to browse if you’re into that type of stuff.
