Best pizza ever! Blue Line is always my first dinner choice. They have incredible thin crust AND deep dish pizza. If you like spice, I definitely recommend you try thin crust or deep dish with jalapeños and pineapples, it’s incredible! I also love the way they text you when your table is ready!

This place has phenomenal deep dish that I didn’t believe could exist outside of Chicago. I would liken the deep dish to Giordano’s — my personal favorite place in Chicago(I know that may elicit some groans, but their spinach pizza is amazing). And in contrast if you’re used to waiting 45 min after ordering, that doesn’t happen here at lunch. We ordered two personal size pizzas. The classic and a build your own with sausage and spinach, with the latter being my favorite. The tomatoes are awesome. And the spinach is fresh. And the sausage is everything you’re looking for in an Italian sausage. And the crust is a killer. Need another endorsement? My Chinese grandmother loves it here.

First time being in downtown Los Gatos. After hitting up Testarossa Winery, we decided to eat at Blue Line and have a descent meal. This cute little downtown area was unexpected because there were several shops and restaurants in the area. The only thing I hated was finding parking. Luckily we were able to find parking right away next to Blue Line if not there are street parking as well. Since it was a Saturday you may have trouble looking for parking spaces. The restaurant vibe is pretty chill with modern interiors. This was also my first time eating at Blue Line and I also found out that there’s another one located in downtown Campbell. Blue Line reminds me of Pieology except you don’t have the whole ingredients in front of you when you order. Anyway, we had a party of seven so good thing they already had a table for us right away so we came just in time. Their menu is descent. They also serve IPA’s and wines as for drinks. We ordered spicy chicken wings, garlic bread, and a small pesto chicken with thin crust pizza with bacon(an additional charge of $ 1.50-$ 1.75, I don’t recall but it was around that price range). As soon I we got our order, I was amazed by how good their wings were. The garlic bread was my favorite. The pizza was too salty and for me it was just average. We asked for bacon and there was barely any bacon on it. I ate about 4 – 5 slices and I seriously just had one piece of bacon. I guess they went cheap on us.

I am a pizza and salad lover. Blue Line serves delight salad and tasty pizza. I have been here so many times. I am addicted to their thin crust BBQ chicken and Mixed salad! I tried both deep dish and thin crust before. Their Classic Deep Dish was good, but I preferred the thin crust. The best thin crust pizza in Bay Area! Just so good! At first, I didn’t expect that I could have a healthy and fresh salad in a pizza spot. After I tried the Mixed salad, I am obsessed with it. Fresh, light, and good portion. It’s one of my favourite salads! Always go there when I crave pizza!

Stay away from the deep dish. 90% sauce, 8% strange chewy cheese, 2% meat = not good.

My go to is the chicken wings and a small brass monkey pizza. Just enough for two people!

Awful service and food: our order came incomplete, so one in our party had to eat elsewhere or later… Based on the caprese salad that had 1 inch of oil in the plate, we decided it’s better elsewhere. The artisan pizzas were oily and dry too. Awful.

We have been frequent visitors to this location and on this occasion we were very disappointed. We ordered drinks and no appetizers and 40 minutes later no sign of our pizza. A deep dish pizza never takes more than 25 mts even though customers are alerted to the long wait. I had to go check on the status of the pizza and was told that our pizza was accidentally given to some other takeout customer. Seriously? How on earth do you not keep a log on who ordered what. The restaurant manger offered us a salad and we were at a point to leave the restaurant. After another 10 minutes of waiting we finally got our pizza. We did get a discount on our pizza but this was the least the restaurant could have done. This review is no reflection of our waiter who was excellent and we ensured that his tip was not affected. Suggestion to the restaurant management — please focus on your logistics and order handling process. People come to your restaurant for an experience; do not ruin it for customers who are present by giving preference to your takeout or non present customers.

I can’t give this place anything below 5 stars. I still remember the first bite of garlic bread tasted so so awesome. I was new in this city/country and went here for a snack/girls time with a new friend of mine and our kids. We didn’t had any idea about the place so just ordered garlic bread and veggie pizza, loved the food and service so much that we came back to the same place with our families to have a full meal, and since then there has been no looking back. I come here religiously with my friends and husband Things that I have tried: 1. Chicken Wings: The best wings that I have ever had, its super spicy and not breaded, I love my wings that way. 2. Garlic bread: love that its loaded with cheese and the Mariana sauce that comes along with it awesome. Its little thin and chewy than the regular bread, so its best to have it hot. Once cold it will not taste good. 3. Thin crust pizzas: I have tried this crust with many toppings and my favorite so far is pesto chicken, it has small pieces of tender chicken and balanced pesto sauce, tastes great. I have tried the one with spinach, it was little bland for me, so if you like your food spicy, you can avoid that. 4. Deep dish pizzas: I didn’t like their deep dish ones earlier, as the chunky tomato sauce on the top is way to much for me, but the crust is ‘awesome’ btw. My husband loves this pizza and we have had it a no of times now, so even I have developed a liking for it. Its best to have it fresh and hot in the restaurant itself other wise the crust will get soggy and it won’t taste that good. 5. Dessert: Tried their cheesecake, but didn’t like it much, it was not that creamy and was quiet dense and over sweet for my liking. Other than food we service is quiet good. Staff are normally friendly and nice, except for a few times I didn’t had that good experience(depends on individual server too).

Just love the pizza here, both deep dish and thin crust. The ingredients are so well seasoned, cooked to perfection and high quality. We had a birthday party here. From the first phone call to the post party clean up the staff paid attention to all details: organization of the menu, seating, all information timely provided, setup of the room and table, pizza was ready on time, etc. Cannot imagine a better place for our gathering. Recommend this place very much.

Yum! Came on Saturday night, and the place was packed. We were a bit cold, seated near the door. We had garlic bread to start, which was less garlicky then I’d like and more like pizza. Didn’t love it. However the chicken wings were exceptional. I love how they had a bit of a kick to them. We got a deep dish large and was unable to finish it. Overall a great experience, and it’s nice having Yogurt and Love in walking distance so that we enjoy some nice desert.

People need to understand something about reviews: you can’t just throw them out willy-nilly like a rotten stew. You’ve got to be forthright, meticulous, and considerate. Reviewing is like eating; you carefully evaluate the flavors in your palate, you don’t just choke your food down like a goddamn bird. With this in mind, I would like to point to a reviewer below me: Tony P. Tony is the worst and he doesn’t know squat about food, service or reviewing. You can tell from his reviews that he likely lives in a windowless home and his anger stems from a lack of perspective with the outside world combined with dangerously low levels of vitamin D. He’s a bummer and a dolt and you are doing yourself a true disservice in reading anything that he writes. I don’t have time to fully review Blue Line; I went there for the first time last month and I’m still determining how to best explain the restaurant to my following. That’s how you do it — THAT’S HOWYOU Unilocal! For now, I will give this place five stars for the excellent service and delicious food. The servers were polite and helpful, the bartender was friendly and attentive and the whole experience improved my mood from earlier in the day when I was confronted by a loud, obnoxious wino(likely Tony P come to think of it). I will continue to consider my options insofar as my star rating, but I can’t imagine dropping this place any lower than four stars. Until I make a final determination, go here and see the place for yourself — just don’t go home after and puke slop up on the web like Tony P, a truly awful person.

There are so many different types of pizza here! Deep dish, thin crust, individual pizzas, express artisan pizzas(until ~4pm) and even gluten free vegan pizzas! I’m not much of a fan for deep dish pizza, so my boyfriend and I chose the thin crust BBQ chicken(BBQ infused pizza sauce, roasted chicken, bacon, red onion, pineapple, cilantro). We also got appetizers, garlic bread(with garlic and melted mozzarella, served with warm marinara sauce). The garlic bread with the marinara sauce was delicious! Lots of garlic and the right amount of mozzarella on top. I wanted to lick the marinara sauce bowl! And the pizza was mm mm mhmm. The pizza was crispy with so much toppings! It was sweet and tangy with the right amount of BBQ sauce. Kind of wish I had a slice right now… The staffs are friendly but the service is slow. It took awhile for us to get our pizza(~ 45 mins) when there were about 8 customers total including us. At least you know the pizza is fresh!

If you want great pizza in a casual atmosphere in Los Gatos, this is the place. My hubby and I sit in the bar and can pretty much pretend that it’s not a family restaurant. We love the bacon and blues salad and Italian pizza.

We were in Los Gatos couple months ago, just a nice walk in the downtown area. Saw the Blue Line Pizza, apparently just recently opened. This place was packed. We ordered a Mixed Salad as started, the salad was huge for 2 of us. Packed with mixed greens, gorgonzola and walnuts in a vinaigrette dressing. Not a bad salad. Deep dish or thin crust? We opted for Italian Combo Thin Crust — pepperoni, salami, onions, bell peppers, olives … etc. Very so-so pizza, I wouldn’t even call it a thin crust — pretty thick to me. I wouldn’t go out of my way for their pizza.

I am fairly good about saving money, not going out to eat during the week but every Friday, no matter what I take myself and my kid(s) out. It was past 7PM and I ordered. I regretted not ordering appetizers but it all went back to conserving money whenever possible. We waited 45 minutes but it was expected. Every kid gets a doodle thingy. No paper menus or crayons. Know what that means? No trees wasted and no crayons to clean up after(they break or it gets on the table, etc.) plus it kept my Gavin occupied. We started tracing each other’s hand and I drew random things per his request. I’m a terrible artist. Finally our pizza arrived. The cornmeal crust and the sweet tangy sauce made this pizza for what it was: delicious. The meatballs were tender and had a kick to it but nothing overwhelming since my little one was able to enjoy it, too. We had 2 slices leftover. Service was friendly but I felt we were forgotten at one point. We each had one napkin and I needed extras because you know, even though it’s a deep dish pizza, I refuse to use a fork and knife to eat my pizza.

I am a New Yorker, so I like to consider myself a bit of a pizza connoisseur. ;-) I am not that familiar with deep dish other than Pizzeria Uno’s chain restaurant. My husband and I both practically DROOL when we talk about getting Blue Line deep dish pizza, it’s THAT good. I have not had their regular/flat pizza, so I can’t speak to how that tastes. Back to the deep dish, the sauce is amazing and so flavorful, the crust is perfect and tasty. I dined at this location one time and did pick up from this location 2 – 3 times. I had a positive dining experience at this establishment. I am leaving the Bay Area and I have had tons of mildly bad-horrible dining experiences. Blue Line’s food is the ONLY food that I am going to miss in this area!

Noelle’s Unilocal Notebook 2015 This is my favorite location of Blue Line Pizza. In fact it’s my favorite pizza place in the entire state of California. My first experience at Blue Line Pizza was at their Campbell location(I had a birthday party there with 30 of my family and friends). This Blue Line Pizza location is a great addition to the Los Gatos area. They have excellent food and fantastic customer service– time and time again. We come here on a fairly regular basis with family and friends. I love the family friendly environment. If you have little ones with you they provide high chairs, booster seats and a kid’s menu. My favorites Classic((thin crust pizza)) 5⁄5 Chicken Wings 5⁄5 Cheesy Bread 5⁄5 Bacon and Bleu Salad 5⁄5 Kid’s Cheese pizza 3⁄5 Kid’s Chicken Bake 4⁄5 Apple Bread Pudding 3.5÷5 I normally dine in with my family and friends but most recently I did take out. Post picking up our wine shipment from Testarossa we headed down the hill to get our lunch to go. I placed a rather large phone order and Gio provided excellent customer service. Upon arriving the food was pipping hot and the order was correct. Gio even helped me to the car with our order. Thank you to Angela and the other owners of Blue Line((aka Little Star))) for bringing the most delicious pizza to Los Gatos, California. Sincerely welcoming staff, great cooks in the back make this a winner in my Unilocal Notebook!!! Noelle’s Notes My favorite pizza place in California Noelle’s Pizza List 1. Lou Malnati’s((Chicago, IL)) 2. Blue Line Pizza((Los Gatos, CA)) 3. Lamonicas NY Pizza((Los Angeles, CA)) 4. Oak & Rye((Los Gatos, CA)) & Terun((Palo Alto, CA)) TIE

As recent transplants to the Bay Area, we’ve been searching for a go-to pizza joint. The conclusion we’re coming to is that pizza here in the South Bay is far from one size fits all. I’m a New York thin crust type of guy, but that doesn’t mean I don’t also enjoy a Chicago deep dish on occasion. This night was such an occasion. I heard from a buddy, we heard from the woman who seated us and we heard again from our server that Blue Line is known for its deep dish. They told us early because the deep dish takes 35 – 40 min to cook. We decided to do a deep dish pizza that was half blue line, half classic. The Blue Line is the signature pizza and restaurant namesake(also known as the Little Star at their affiliates of the same name; it has spinach, ricotta, mushrooms, onion and garlic). The Classic is Italian sausage, mushrooms, onion and green bell pepper. Both sides were good but between the two I preferred the Blue Line. Advantage spinach. What struck me most about the place was how family friendly they were. This is important when you’re waiting 40 minutes for a deep dish pizza. They gave both of our kids manga doodle drawing toys to play with(that had the kids menus taped to the backs — a little DIY but very thoughtful and effective). One of our kiddos had the cheese pizza, while the other had the«chicken in a blanket», described as «roasted chicken + cheese, all wrapped up served with kettle chips, ranch + carrots». Both were hits!

I’m a fan of blue line pizza and am so excited for this new Los Gatos location! They’re located where Valeriano’s/Katsu used to be. They officially open to the public tomorrow, but I was lucky enough to come today for lunch. The ambiance is pretty much identical to their other locations: pretty blue painted walls and cool art, dim lighting, and well trained staff. The bar area is way sweeter than their other locations because it’s separate and toward the back. The bar boasts three flat screens and a full bar. All the usual suspects are on the menu. We ordered the wings which arrived piping hot, excellently seasoned, and accompanied by carrot sticks & blue cheese. Next we shared the caprese salad; simple and fresh. I ordered the white pie(thin crust) and added Italian sausage and mushrooms. She ordered the bbq chicken pizza, but as a vegetarian removed the chicken & bacon that normally adorns the pie. She added mushrooms to her. I posted pics of both so you can see. So much food equated to some to-go boxes. Had we shared, I would’ve tried the caramel apple bread pudding. Next time! I noticed on their menu(and of course, posted a pic) that they have express artisan pizzas available to order and ready in 5 minutes. Perfect for lunch on the go in Los Gatos! I think my favorite thing about this new location is its consistency. Blue Line Pizza really nails it on that front.
