Wow this block of main st is going through big churn. Just noticed blendz is gone too. They made good smoothies and the girls working the counter were pretty friendly. A goof alternative to your Jamba Juice or other health type store. RIP

Met a friend for coffee next door, but I was way more in the mood for a smoothie so we went here. «Lime So Excited» was super delicious! The girl behind the counter had a serious attitude problem, and they gave us the wrong sized drinks(one large and one small came out as only one large), but they fixed it and we enjoyed our beverages while sitting outside on Main Street. Yummy and refreshing, but don’t go for the service!

Freshly tossed salads made to order. Perfect post-Los Gatos Trail meal. The Funsational Salad($ 8.95) was yummy. They ran out of grapes, so the guy gave me cranberries and mandarin oranges instead. It added a sweet kick to my mixed greens, cucumbers, and chicken. I got it with Raspberry Vinaigrette on the side. Sweet, cool, fresh.

October 30th, 2011UPDATE: Sorry but I can’t end this story with a 4 star review. The last month the staff have put up every excuse in the book that they can’t do juices anymore. First it was the juicer broke. Then they could not get it repaired. I mean I felt like I wanted to donate my $ 100 juicer to keep them going. Well today the surprise is they are closing tomorrow and they are out of most items they sell. So Campbell goes last year, now Los Gatos. I asked about SJ and they basically said it doesn’t look good. Maybe they should have listened to the Unilocal reviews long ago. Rewards card goes down the dumpster with never getting anything after 4 years of support. Goobye Blendz, I guess it’s back to Jamba and Whole Foods. Oh the work to stay healthy:) July 7th, 2011 – 4Stars – OK, They are getting a bump from me because I do think their carrot juice and ginger are really fresh and good even though the darn machine breaks half the time. And I did get a bad batch one time were I had to drink a ton of sediment of carrot pulp because the machine didn’t work well. Not Fun at ALL! Also I think they could definitely improve the place by adding more foods that are compatible for healthy eating. All salads have cheese, many have milk products. For vegetarian and vegan options there is very little choices around here. The bars they sell have a bunch of junk in them too so please read the labels folks. But because they are convenient and they have been extra nice on recent visits to give me what I want, I’m happy to have them in town and will at this moment selectively forget all the negatives.

My daughter and I have stopped by Blendz many times for a sandwich to go. One thing I can certainly brag about is by the time I get home(8min car ride) the panini is still hot and personally I found them very flavorable. I read a few of these negative reviews below and to be honest those who are complaining about prices, you need to check what town your standing in! Los Gatos! It’s not bargain basement kinda town. I think blendz comprable to other sandwich shops. Have you ever eaten a sandwich at Jamba juice, yuck! Cardboard! Blendz so much better. And to the person who decided to go there post lunchtime knowing that there is high school two blocks away, try going to the Starbucks or Jamba juice next to middle school after school. Thats a real mess! You can’t blame business for the clienteles lack of respect. Four thumbs up for blendz.

Blendz Smoothies are the best, hands down. I have tried numerous flavors, creamsicle is a standout. I haven’t had a bad sandwich. The only recommendation as far as the salads go, get the dressing on the side. The guy that works there tends to overdress them.

There are two components to this place. Their blended drinks and their food. So for a restaurant named Blendz you can guess what they are good at and what they are not so good at. the food no es bueno. not worth the price, but you wouldn’t even consider that because it does not look that appetizzing to start. However, their blended drinks are awesome. I’ve tried a lot but the ‘Orange-U-Special’ is my favorite. I will say that I drink this after a run on the Los Gatos Trail which is right behind Blendz, and after a long run i’m starved for calories so that may skew my accuracy of how good thi splace really is!

Taste/quality: 3.5÷5 stars I didn’t boost up the rating because the store was non-air conditioned and cleanliness was not the greatest either. We decided to sit outside on the ledge b/c it was cooler outside! It was a hot day in Los Gatos, and a NON-alcoholic drink was needed! I decided to order the Berry Jam Packed smoothie, which consist of Blueberries, strawberries, raspberry juice, raspberry sherbet, non-fat frozen yogurt. Tasted like an ice cream pop! DELICIOUS :)

I hate to give one star but I really can’t come back. I was enticed initially because I saw their sign«Get a $ 30.00 gift certificate for $ 25.00.» The only employee there I guess was new so she had to call her manager to figure out how to apply the special. As I’m waiting I notice there is an «OUTOFORDER» sign on the TV. There are FLIES on the uncovered salad mixings which also happen to be wilted and browning. So I interrupt her and tell her that I change my mind and will just stick with a smoothie. There is also a scribble on the white board about them going green. When did styrofoam cups become green? Oh and they don’t accept Discover.

Ugh, never again. No mas, no more, no thank you. First off the place was a mess from the high school lunch crowd, crap all over the floors etc. Ok, I will forgive that since it looked like only two people were working. Ordered a large smoothie and a salad. Smoothie, tho large had absolutely no flavor to it. Where is my fruit? It tasted like sweet milk and ice. And the salad? Not nearly as big as they used to be, the madarin oranges were also rank and I had to pull them out of the salad for fear of food poisoning. The service was slow as my partner waited for about 20 minutes for a panini — to which we were the only people there… good god. I gave it one more go but this place is now overpriced for the food you get, the service that isnt there and the ambiance that is lacking. See ya.

I had a gift certificate for this place, so I came by last week. I got a chicken caesar salad which was really quite good. Hubby got a turkey panini that he liked, but wasn’t terribly enthusiastic about. Service was really nice and genuinely friendly.

TURNDOWNYOURMUSIC!!! I often want to go here after a jog but i avoid it because its so damned loud in here that i have to shout to place my order. the folks who have to take my order can barely hear me. do people really need a soundtrack for their life at all times? if i want music i’ll put my own on. can people deal with their own thoughts these days?! oh that’s right, people have become so vapid and shallow they have no real thoughts. is silence no longer golden?! love your floor but dammit put carpet down so its not an echo chamber!

Jamba Juice can suck it. My review of this place was going to based on the blueberries. Everytime I order a smoothie with«real» blueberries, it never turns out that way – I can never taste them. These I tasted. Sooo good. And they aren’t as big as Jamba Juices, I can finish it. The store is tiny but they have free wi-fi. Very clean little joint. They also serve organic salads and paninis. I will definately be back for the breakfast panini priced at 4 bucks.

So the food here is still really great, but I feel the service has gone down hill. I really wanted a salad and soup combo, so I went in yesterday at about 5:30PM. I’ve caught them right as they were closing a few times in the past, so I was worried I might be doing it again. The door was propped open, and just to be safe, I checked their hours on the door, and it says they close at 7:00. Whew! Or so I thought. I walked up to the counter and asked what soups they had that night. The girl behind the counter(Melissa), tells me that they just threw out the soup because they were about to close. I said, «I thought you were open until 7.» And so she then tells me that the time had changed some time ago, and that they’ve «been asking the new management to change the time on the door since,(turning to her coworker) What, September?» The guy confirmed. Really, I don’t care about that, because either way, 5:30 to me is not«just about to close.» I looked at the counter and all of the stuff that they normally have out for salads is already packed up. Melissa pretty much acted like I was SOL and there wasn’t much she could do about it. I asked what I *could* get, and I was told a smoothie, a panini, and then begrudgingly added in «a salad.» So basically, I could get everything that they have except some soup. Perhaps she could have just said something like«I am so sorry, but we just got rid of our soup. You can get anything else that we have, and so sorry for the inconvenience,» instead of acting like I was putting her out to come in and ask for some food, they very thing that gets her a paycheck on a regular basis. Crappy customer service gets me way more riled than a crappy product. Hey, I understand that you want to get out of work right when you close, but perhaps you can suck it up and treat your customers well. It was incredibly disappointing to come in and be expecting one sort of treatment and getting another. I am not saying that they(and the guy doesn’t get off here; as far as I am concerned, he was a complete enabler, since he didn’t jump in to help at all) were horrible and nasty to me. But they made me feel like I walked in and expected service 5 minutes after they had closed. Such a let down after the level of service I used to get here. There are a lot of other food choices in Downtown Campbell. I probably won’t be back.

I love going here for smoothies but check your wallet because it’s a bit pricey. It’s getting two stars only because the manager Jessica is such a peach. The rest of the staff has been less than thrilling and after my last experience I will never go back. I was screamed at by one of the employees for bringing my dog into the store. When I asked if he was going to take my order from me while I was outside he wouldn’t even be bothered to turn around and address me. I’m not an unreasonable person, by any means, so if you are going to rudely ask me to leave your store, at least make an effort to follow up and provide me with some great customer service. Instead I left with nothing. Boooo to bad service.

Salad snob alert!!! The balsamic vinaigrette was pretty darn good and the portioning was BIG. That’s where the likes end. Not enough ingredients to choose from. Where’s the broccoli, fennel and asparagus? They ran out of fresh squeezed OJ when I visited. Run outside to the operating Farmer’s market and juice me some ORANGE!!! Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still come back for the prices & ease.
