Stopped by because I was early for an appointment in LG. The place was quiet and clean. Despite having only a few customers, they managed to forget Avocado on my Vegetable Medley sandwich. They did offer me a free cookie to make up for it. The sandwich was bland and not much taste-maybe it would have been better with the avocado.

I used to like it here a lot until I ran into a very rude manger and a terrible hard as a rock sandwich. Today I went and ordered the Italiano. My favorite sandwich… or used to be. I worked from home today so thought, hey I’ll treat myself to lunch and I haven’t been here in a few months. Let’s do it… That was my first mistake. Ordered the sandwich on dutch crunch as I have a many many times in the past. I headed home and set up my home office just perfectly. As I excitedly opened my sandwich for my lunch. I realized the bread was stale nay hard as a rock. I tried to break off the hard edges but was left with very small center which was stale as well(see picture) I called the location and asked to speak with the manager and told him my plight. His response” what do you want me to do?”. Hmm. How about a «I’m sorry that happen to you. How can we make it up?» Not a combative answer. I replied«I’d like a new sandwich». I went back to the car and drove there to pick it up. When I walked in and let them know I was there to pick it up. The manager told me «You know Dutch Crunch is hard» First: why are you arguing with me? Second: I have ordered the same sandwich for years. Third: Why are you upset at me cause your food was bad? That’s a weird thing. With Panera here in LG, wont EVER be coming back along with the friends I’ve told this to.

I am gonna change my initial review of one star to three stars. Management got back to me to discuss adding wine, wheat, and walnut bread. Even if they don’t they are still looking at implementing it. better than nothing. Michael J

Pros — Made to order food — Fresh coffee Cons — Slow service — Boring options — Small portions This place is little more than a poor imitation of a place like Panera. Not worth your money.

They had very nice, friendly service. My cheese Danish was nice and sweet with a flaky crust. The bagel on the breakfast sandwich was crunchy and cooked perfectly. the food was overall delicious.

Always a good experience here… Usually good service, food is delicious and in line with most Le Boulangers. Location is nice being right downtown Los Gatos. Parking can be difficult however. Great spot for sandwiches, salads, soup, etc.

Friendly staff, and consistent with the food quality as the other Le Boulanger. Price is decent and clean establishments.

It’s just OK. I’ve been to other Boulanger locations and they’ve been cleaner. Staff is just ambivalent. Nothing ordinary, just average. Love the bread, though! That’s why I keep coming back.(But, mostly to the other locations.)

Disappointing… Food was less than average. I expected better quality of pastries and coffee than what was offered. Probably won’t return.

My daughter and went here for a quick and dinner. First off I believe they should have nutrition facts available, but didn’t see any so I asked the guy at the register(I would tell you his name, but he wasn’t wearing a name tag). He lacked people skills and wasn’t at all helpful and at one point was argumentative. On a good note, my daughter and I were talking about and a lady who was on break over heard us(Joanne). She asked who we were talking about and said she was really sorry.(She is normally at the register) It was nice to see that she care and wanted customers to have a good experience. She even gave my daughter a cookie, which was nice to see her smile. Thank you JoAnne!

Service is nice but I got a Portabello sandwich today for almost 9 dollars and the toast was burned and there was almost nothing inside. I was very upset because I paid 9 dollars for the smallest sandwich. Not cool.

Picked up a California fresh on lunch break, get back to work and they gave me a similar sandwich on a different bread. Nothing I ordered. Very disappointed.

They only get three stars cuz the guy apologized for forgetting my call in order. Second time in a month. They are disorganized in the kitchen, I think. But they mean well. Good people, poorly trained. Must be an absentee owner… like just ignoring the place. What a gold mine that place could be… or maybe it is and they don’t really care. My sandwich was toasted and I asked it not to be, but ingredients were fresh. Oh well. Another great location, average experience place

My florentine omelette sandwich was good and hit the spot. It consisted of egg whites, Italian cheeses, arugula/spinach and tomato on sourdough toast. The service was a little sullen but I didn’t care – I would go back again the next time I’m in town.

It’s not the coolest hangout but I like the ambiance and the window seating. However there’s always too many strange people in here talking to themselves or to me. Other than that it’s a very pleasant place to sit and play on your laptop especially when bear coffee is too full. Don’t come for the food unless you’re starving. the coffee and teas are adequate. Another«love/hate“customer.

Boulanger is fine. Nothing special but nothing terrible. The highlight is the pizza which my kids love and can always be heard yelling«Mom– order your own!» as I steal bites of it. It’s really good! Also the strawberry salad with lemon poppyseed dressing is pretty awesome. As for the soups and salads, they are just ok to me. Also if your kid orders a grilled cheese, you may want to order light cheese as they add slices to the bread like its going out of style.

Not exemplary sandwiches. Especially for the $ 8-$ 9 tag. Brownies aren’t great, i think I just like the chocolate chip cookies.

Probably one of the cheapest options in dt Los Gatos for lunch. Nothing super exceptional about this spot. Sandwich I ordered was tasty and was made fairly quickly. Service was really friendly. Seating was comfortable and relaxing. I got a Le Boulanger card, so will def be back to rack up points and get treats =)

Decent food, reasonably extensive menu, reasonably clean chain outlet, nice view of pretty downtown Los Gatos, but slow service, like others have mentioned here. Not necessarily the place to stop if you’re in a rush. If a chain is what you’re going to settle for, then it’s really not that much different from a Panera or an Erik’s, in which case I’d much prefer Erik’s. If an honest-to-goodness sandwich is what you’re looking for, then there’s a branch of Ike’s Place in Cupertino not far away.
