These are my girls… my beauty team. I have them tint my lashes and brows (also wax) every month. Their body waxing is fast, practically painless, and clean. I have used drop in service, and all the girls are professional, skilled and friendly. The manager Sylvie knows all their customers and keeps things humming. I try to schedule my appointments now with Natalie. She is a treasure. Like I do with my hair stylist, I remind her briefly of what I want each time. Use your words, ladies, they are all so eager for you to get exactly what you want!

Yes or no. Had a meeting around here today. Stopped by inside. People workers are nicer than SF but they worked are off. My eye brows are uneven.

After going to this brow bar the last time, I will never go again for a few reasons.
1) After going a few times, I felt that the service has gone downhill. The woman doing my friend’s eyebrows was working on two other girls at the same time, and for a simple brow tint/​wax we were there for over 40 minutes (only spending about 8 – 10 minutes on her actual brows). Upon the bad service, they almost force you to leave a tip and put you in a very awkward situation upon paying at the register. On another occasion, they didn’t even finish her eyebrows and spent little to no time on them (not even plucking afterwards).
2) When I get my eyebrows done, I usually get them threaded at another eyebrow threading location. When I heard that this Benefit bar does threading, I was very pleased and decided to try it. I immediately regretted my decision when the woman started to thread my eyebrows, mainly due to the clear lack of experience she had threading. I normally don’t have any sensitivities to wax or threading, but this location somehow gives me issues every time. Threading should be quick — she was threading almost individual eyebrow hairs, which caused inflammation beyond belief. After the appointment, my eyebrows were bleeding and swollen, and I had scabs for about a week after.
Horrible service and overpriced for the amount of effort they put into your eyebrows. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Clean, pretty boutique with helpful staff. I’ve come a few times and Christina has always been incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I would most certainly recommend this location.

Came in for the first time to get my brows done. First impression, very cute and they were having a fun party for a new product I bought the new primer! A friend of mine, recommended me to Benefit. I saw Jennifer for my brows. She did such a good job!!! I’d been plucking them for a while, and they needed help. The girls were really nice and the makeup artist showed me some fun new stuff. I will be back!!! Thank you for the party treats!!! ;)

Warning, going here is like playing Russian roulette with your eyebrows. I’ve been using this Benefit for the last 3 – 4 years and they have been going downhill these past couple of months. I used to be so sure I would get quality service, and lately I’ve been nervous every time I’ve gone in. Today I just received the worst tint and brow wax I’ve ever experienced. Stray hairs, patchy tint, leftover wax, complete waste of my time and money. I tried to call to see if I could go back in and have it fixed but was on hold for forever, so I decided that I’ll just go elsewhere to have someone competent do my brows. Such a shame.

But I hesitate to give 5-​stars because the last time I was in there, the brow service was really good but the woman who does makeup and rang me up was preoccupied with bitching to a colleague about her annoyance with another employee. She couldn’t wait to be done with me so that she could go do whatever it was the co-​worker was incapable of. I asked a couple of questions, and she just gave me one word answers, so I thought «ok, I’m out of here.» I regretted buying product for which I believe she earned commission.
I cannot stand employees bad mouthing or bitching about work/​boss/​co-​workers/​etc. serve your clients who are paying for a service or stay home.

After my eye got hurt they called me and offered me a complimentary brow wax. I was a little hesitant and nervous because of the previous experience and because I had complained. They were super nice to me. My eyebrows look great. Next time I need make up I’ll go back there.

I have never done brow and lash tinting … but this shop is super cute, lots of fun and all the gals in it seem really nice. My cosmetologist was weet and friendly, but mis-​quoted my package price; and then ripped off parts of my skin when she waxed my brows. I now have small gashes on my eyes and between my brows. I think this happened because on busy weekends, they have lots of clients and try to get them all through and add new ones if possible. I have since heard that using a retinol product can cause skin to be prone to tear with waxing and that although you sign a release form on site, a beautician should ask you about products you use, etc. and of course be very careful with your skin. I called the manager and she offered a complimentary threading for next time. So that’s great. I hope to write a better review, then, and am only writing here to help others be better prepared. Don’t go when it’s busy. Make sure your beautician is aware of the state of your skin and fully present with you!

The best place for wax, I have tried several places but none like this place. The place is clean the staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable about the products. Love this place and will continue to return.

Bomb brows, super nice ladies, and their makeup services are always on point.

I always come here to have Jennifer wax my brows, lip and sideburns. She is fantastic, she helps my brows looked tamed but not too thinned. She is the only one I want to wax my face!
This last Saturday I had Lauren do my makeup for my Bridal Shower. She was truly exceptional, she asked about what I was wearing and what kind of look I was going for. It was super busy but she got my makeup done quickly. I did not realize that the $ 55 listed in the Book of Services meant that I would be purchasing at least $ 55 of makeup, but she explained it to me and helped me choose some makeup that will help me look fantastic in the coming months. I got tons of compliments on my makeup all night! Thank you, Lauren!

Compared to your typical $ 7-​$ 10 brow waxes, this place may be steep, but the service is worth it. Not only do they do a brow wax on you, you have the option of having your face done. Just so you don’t leave the place looking like you just got a face peel or something! If you don’t want to buy the makeup, you can just pay for the wax and you’re good to go. No pressure from the girls. They are really attentive and sweet.

I had occasion to visit the Benefit in LG this past Wednesday. My hairstylist had recommended them to me for a spray on tan. (I have a wedding this Saturday morning) They were welcoming from the minute I walked in the door. I arrived a bit early and read the catalog about all their products. I’ve never been in a Benefit store and I loved reading and looking at all their products.
Jennifer helped me first and explained the whole process for a spray on tan. She was very professional and did a wonderful job. Afterward I asked if she might be able to wax my eyebrows and lip and she was able to fit me in right away. The whole experience was great.
She turned me over to Melissa so that she could give me a makeup touch up since my skin was irritated after the waxing. I loved the way Melissa did my make up and ended up buying a lot of their products too which I am enjoying using. I will definitely be back to Benefit. It was busy but the girls were able to keep everyone happy. So glad I found the Benefit Boutique!
I’m hoping they’ll be able to do my makeup on Saturday morning before the wedding!

This is a nice clean place to get waxing or makeup services. I love all the Benefit makeup products. I was walking by in a Saturday and dropped in for an eyebrow wax. I only had to wait 10 minutes which was great considering it was really crowded. There were tons of people getting their makeup done for prom or graduation. I will definitely return.

Great place to go for any beauty needs either brows & makeup or getting your teenage daughter ready for prom.
I’ve been so please with the service every time. I highly recommend Benefit. Never have I been disappointed.

My husband and I are moving to The Bay area this summer, and I’m in the process of finding new everything. Luckily, I stumbled into Benefit. Brow waxing is stressful for me because I struggle with an anxiety disorder where I pull out my brows/​lashes. Alexis and Aisha helped me to feel comfortable immediately. Aisha did an excellent job shaping my admittedly sparse brows to grow into a stronger line, and Aisha showed be a great new routine for building on the brows that I have right now.
This place is definitely not a day spa where you sit and relax; you are there on a brow mission. The store is very busy, so I’d definitely recommend using their online appointment creator. It’s easy to use, and you can specify which aesthetician you’d like to work with. Once you arrive they are very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the speed they worked, while offering suggestions. My brows look great, and I’ve found a new place to go in my new home.

Love this place for eyebrows but I had a Brazilian done here and was left with dark bruises and major ingrown hairs. I had temporary eyelashes put on and they are said to last a week, but only lasted a day. I went back and they fixed them only for them to fall out again. Honestly I love the eyebrow work they do but I am disappointed in the rest. Not sure if I will be returning

I used to love the services I got here. Alexis and Sylvia are the go to people here without a doubt. They have the true qualities it takes. They sadly no longer do brow services though. However, within the past year or so I am not as pleased with the atmosphere. The girls are not as friendly, welcoming and helpful as they used to be. There are very few girls I enjoy seeing anymore. The past two times I have been there with an appointment previously made, they switched up the person I had my appointment with each time or claimed I wasn’t booked when I called in a week in advance. The services in general have been hit or miss lately for me. I am hoping they can improve so I don’t have to end my visits here.

My dear lord, you know it’s bad when your younger brother points out that your brows are different shapes/​uneven when you end up coming back home and he had no idea you were getting your brows done. I got a tint then a brow wax, but my arches are two different shapes and brows are uneven. Getting them re-​done in San Francisco today…
My brother’s words verbatim: «Dude, your eyebrows are really fu***d up. What happened?»
Yea. So I decided to get 2^nd opinions from my sister, my mother, and my interns. Not going back. The girl was so nice though… and really funny to have a conversation with.
