I went to this little shop because I want to support local business. The shop is pretty bright and clean, however, I found out most of food product this store sell are EXPIRED! Including milk, cheese, eggs, even cocacola and Tide! I am shocked, because if I didn’t check the expiration date one by one, I would bring home bags of expired food and product, and I know we as consumer often overlook those little numbers. It just strikes me as dishonest that the store does not keep their stuff fresh. Thumbs down.

Cool market. Run by nice guy and his wife. Both bodega stores in the area are good I go to this one bc it’s on the right side of the street.

The best convenience store in the weird Hoover neighborhood that I live in. The older couple that owns this place are also its only employees, and both very friendly.
They’ve been closed for the last week and now have a sign on the front door that reads «Emergency Vacation». Hope everything is okay!
