Moving is terrible, but everyone at this U-haul location was very helpful when I rented a van earlier today. The van was new, clean, and drove without issue. The process to pick up the van took 10 minutes, and returning it took even less.

My Zipvan reservation fell through, and I was freaking out because I had about 30 minutes to go pick up a piece of furniture. But the employees at this location helped me reserve over the phone, and I was in the van five minutes after arriving at the location. They were really friendly and totally saved the day.

AWFUL. The height of incompetence and bad business. When you call the seeming local number it could be a different location. I reserved a truck for the Overland location that ended up being closed the day of my move. This location picked up the phone and even after 3 phone calls CONFIRMING the Overland location they still found a way to screw it up. The rep at this location apologized and said the girl that booked the reservation was new and made the mistake(although) I did speak to two other people the day before to CONFIRM the right location. How did they accommodate me you ask? Well we will guarantee that we’ll have a truck here in Crenshaw for you today. Great a drive to Crenshaw when I’m in WESTWOOD! Brilliant service! Not.

I had been trying to get a copy of a receipt for a Ubox move for 5 days. I had spent a total of 4 hours on the phone(or moreso on hold) with the national Uhaul customer service line. I had been hung up on multiple times, I had been told that I would need to pay a $ 10 «research fee» before someone would even look into this, and had received 4 different versions of the wrong receipt from customer service people there and on Facebook. I was about to tear my hair out over this customer service nightmare. Finally decided to call the location I picked up the uBox from, instead of the main help line. In less than 10 minutes, Jacinta found the correct receipt and emailed it to me immediately, finally bringing resolution to this ridiculous journey. THANKYOUJACINTA!!!
