Very overpriced for a sub par haircut. The stylist was personable and friendly, but left my hair patchy and uneven. I’ll definitely be taking my money somewhere else next time.

I called ahead of time to ask how much it would be for a trim & layers for long hair. I was told $ 35. I didn’t make an appointment, just came in as a walk-in. I only had to wait about ten minutes. The owner recognized me as the person who just called and she verified what I wanted. It would have been nice if the girl who cut my hair introduced herself, but I don’t know her name and she didn’t ask for mine. About halfway through my haircut she started making conversation. She was good at asking and clarifying how much I wanted trimmed off. She cut it how I wanted and I love the layers. She blow-dried my bangs before she finished cutting them, just to make sure they weren’t too short. I didn’t get my hair shampooed or blow-dried, so maybe that’s why the price was only $ 35, but it was exactly what the lady on the phone told me it would cost. I like my hair cut, but friendly, easy-going conversation was a little lacking.

So I just went as a walk in for a simple hair cut and I got Rosie. She was very sweet and made conversation with my friend and I as she cut my hair. I just wanted a trim and I definitely needed a lot but she cut more than I wanted. She was able to take suggestions and layered around my face and it was all in all a good experience, just a bit pricey, ended up being $ 47.

No fuss and great consult with Eddie. He is definatly a talent in a shopping center. If you want great color and cut… he is your guy. I would call ahead to make sure that he is available and tends to get busy on the weekends especially. He is very creative, friendly and easy going. Be patient because he will not let you leave the salon with a hair out of place. He does not rush through his work, nor does he have an assistant like other places, he is very hands on and does all his work. His blow outs are amazing and last for days and are inexpensive compared to Hollywood or Beverly Hills.

Eddie gives very precise great haircuts for men, I came in looking a mess from months of avoiding a haircut, I walked in and waited 10 minutes and he managed to make me look decent considering what I came in looking like. It was only $ 23 very affordable and I my girlfriend couldnt stop looking at me, as if I was I someone else. A great haircut will go a long way.

I had a last minute request from my agent to change my hair color for a audtion… yes I am an actress. My funds were limited, so I called a few friends who are the type to get their hair done every month. After calling several snooty WeHo and Beverly Hills hair salons, I opted with Touch of Class, at the USC Village in Mid City! I made an appointment with Eddie that same day, I loved the fact that they had a really flexible schedule. Most places have this ridiculous waiting list. Eddie was so sweet and very welcoming. I had a tall order on what I wanted and he said yes, I can take you to a natural blond with highlights from my drabby ashy brown. The time breezed by fast and before you knew it I was ready for my closeup. I felt and looked amazing. He is great at his craft. My hair was still healthy and oh so smooth with his killer blow dry. I have since been a return client. The prices are very fair and he is so darling.

So, I really liked my end result. For someone whose hair was three shades of screwed up color-wise, I was happy that I came out with a nice, blonde hue that matched very closely what I wanted. Like most people on here, I had Aura, and she was lovely, and she listened to what I wanted. My only complaint is that it was almost $ 200, and I’ve paid much less at other places that were much nicer. The extra price might have been because they had to remove some of the previous color, but I was still a bit shocked at the price. But Aura was so nice, and when her appointments accidentally got mixed up and she had to leave me every once in awhile to help someone else, she was very apologetic and sweet. Definitely will go back to get my roots touched up(hopefully that’ll be a little cheaper). Not a bad place for a college student looking to fix your hair.

I gotta be honest… these 5 stars are all for Aura. She IS this business as far as I’m concerned. My apologies to the salon itself and the other stylists here(whom I have not tried) but the exclusive reason I come here is Aura. She’s a great stylist — she’s been cutting my hair for years, and does fabulous layers for me. She understands my limitations(I like low-maintenance hair that looks high-maintenance, no bangs, no sexless soccer mom hairdos, no extremely long hair, can’t do crazy colors due to work… and I only change it dramatically every few years.) And she’s a doll about it – gives suggestions, but ultimately gives me what I want. I’ve also had her do my hair for special events… including some crazy hair… like the time I needed an early 60s «do» for a huge themed birthday party. She gave me such period-accurate sexy hair that someone remarked«I can totally see you tumbling into bed with JFK.» But I must end the review by saying that in addition to her amazing talent, she is an utterly adorable, loveable person. So sweet, funny and charming… going to see her is like going to visit one of my favorite friends.

I first went here to get my hair cut after I donated my hair at USC’s Relay for Life. I had my hair cut by Aura, and she did an absolutely amazing job. I had never had my hair short before, so I was really nervous but she sat down with me and we flipped through pictures of haircuts until I found something I liked. She gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had and told me how to style it. The prices are reasonable too, only $ 30 for a haircut. I’ve paid way more than that before and gotten way less quality. However, the next time I went back I didn’t make an appointment and I ended up having my hair cut by a different stylist. He did a good job, but not as good a job as Aura did. Next time, I’ll be sure to make an appointment with her.

It’s okay for a salon. First time I was there I had a very pleasant chat with the stylist, who convinced me(or dredged up a desire from my unconscious or something) to get highlights. I regretted that when the time to pay the bill came! It rather snuck up on me. Moreover, the guy at the counter(whom I took to be the owner) didn’t seem to trust me or anyone and was as suspicious as a hawk. Second time I came I don’t recall anything exceptional; the gal doing my hair had to answer her phone while I was getting a cut. I don’t hold it against her, but it’s not professional. I may go there again, I may not, but overall I’m ambivalent about it. It’s thirty-ish dollars for just a trim, and I don’t know enough about hair to decide whether the nearby Supercuts’ quality is relatively equal for a lower price, so I think next time I need a cut I’ll just go to Supercuts.

Aura, my stylist, is the best! She has a very loyal clientele. I’ve personally gone to her for haircuts for over ten years and prior to her working here. My friends give me a hard time for driving from OC to LA every 2 – 3 weeks for a haircut, so I try to justify the trip by also eating something in LA that I can’t get down in OC.
