Very reasonably priced, she is a sweet lady. Did a good job with my hair. I just needed a trim. She advises you about basic hair care and products, but doesn’t overdo it with the products, which is good!

Aurora is so nice and made me feel very comfortable. Professional yet warm– She makes sure you and her are on the same page throughout. She asked me about my hair care history and gave doable (I’m not very diligent when it comes to hair care!) and affordable suggestions. Meet Aurora in our neighborhood and my husband started get his haircut by her… It looks great so I thought I would also give her a try! Love my highlights and cut!!! She was quick and thorough with my color and the cut. I’ve literally spent hundreds getting my color done at expensive salons, but I have to admit I have never been this impressed… Aurora really listened to everything I was asking for and helped me figure out the best way to achieve the results I wanted. I have found my hairdresser for life!

I tend ot be a creature of habit BUT I realized that was because once I find something I like I stick with it! I am picky but not unreasonable. I am never rude, but I just don’t go back. I keep looking until I find the jack pot. I FOUND THE JACKPOT with Aurora!!! I have not had a hair person for a year! I have gone place to place looking but not finding. After 10 minutes with Aurora, I knew I hit the pot of gold. She immediately recommended what needed to be done immediately. She then talked long term plan. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and pretty darn close the the example I brought her. She listens to you but does not force her will or opinions on you. She has a lot of top quality experience but charges a very fair prices. I am so happy I have found a new «hair person» so close to work for me.

Best experience I’ve ever had with a hair stylist! From the time that i made the call to set up an appointment she was very sweet, even after calling back to reschedule my appointment to a later time, she was very accommodating.
The location Unilocal shows on their map is a little confusing as it shows it on 23^rd right by Vermont, shes actually located just a bit further up on Union and 23^rd.
She made a point to ask me questions on what it is exactly i wanted, and took her time to make sure i was comfortable. She explained everything she was doing and walked me through the whole process. Making sure i understood her methods and had me take a look at the length of my hair to make sure i was happy with it. by the time she was done i was thrilled with the overall service i received
After going to multiple hair salons merely out of convenience or necessity, i wont be going to anyone else but Aurora from now on for my hair needs. She is absolutely amazing, and even though I’d love to keep this hidden gem to myself, a talent like hers needs to be shared, and I will be recommending her to all of my friends and family.

Aurora is the nicest! Excellent service, great price, great cut. No complaints! She asks you lots of questions and really makes sure you are getting exactly what you want. She talks to you about the products she’s putting on your hair and makes recommendations. She works by appointment only so make sure to call ahead and she’s only at this location from Wednesday to Saturday. This is the first time I went to her and I’m really happy with the results :)

Aurora is an incredible hair stylist. I have been coming to her for years despite moving across town! She specializes in color, but her cuts are also great. She straightens my hair better than anyone and I look like a model when I leave her chair. Aurora is a gem — I pay half of what I would have to pay at the trendy salons. Highly recommended. USC students can easily walk to her location!

I’ve been going to Aurora for years. I’ve followed her to 3 different salons in the USC area. Quality service, she does an amazing cut and color, and knows how to do hair. She could easily work at some upscale hollywood salon (and has in the past) but chooses to be in business for herself and stay in the neighborhood. She has a loyal customer base that have gone to her for years, if not decades. I highly recommend her work.
