The Salvation Army

Came in looking for unique furniture to add to my new place. I didn’t find what I was looking for; coffee table set. But they did have a decent furniture select, along with lamps. I was also hoping to find some art, but nothing peaked my interest. The selection was scarce. This is a good, clean and decent sized store. Hope to return and find some gems!

This thrift shop has a great furniture selection. Its packed to the gills with clothes. A note for folks trying to donated, the donation center in the back closes at 4:30pm. The friendly staff bumps it up to 4 stars.

I found some clothing at this location — including a really cute and retro western style dress with fringe and a cowl neck (I know, RAD RIGHT?!) and a few shirts. I also found an American flag and decided I needed to get it because too many people have accused me for being a Canadian spy for the Queen…
Ahem, anyway…
This place is a MESS. I don’t know if they’re going through a renovation, if they don’t have enough room for the amount of stuff they get dumped on them, or if they just don’t care. I doubt they don’t care because the staff was really nice and helpful from what I saw. I’m just assuming they are overwhelmed with how much stuff is surrounding them. Hell, I will help them organize and clean if it means I get dibs on sweet frames & housewares (currently coveting…)
I honestly did want to stay longer and search around but I actually became quite overwhelmed myself and just left while I was ahead. I’ll probably be back anyway because of the good service and if my finds were any sort of foreshadowing of what else could be lurking (just waiting to be found!) then I’m totally game.
