I was looking for a local «go-​to» salon and I found it! I was fortunate enough to make an appointment with Melody and I couldn’t be more pleased! I got a simple press and curl and I left with silky smooth hair. She was very warm and attentive. The whole staff there makes you feel very welcome. I can’t wait to go back!

Melody is a fantastic stylist! Fun, professional and experienced, she makes my commute from the Valley totally worthwhile. Melody wil work with you to ensure your happiness before you leave the salon. I love how my hair looks when she’s finished with it!

I’ve had many tracks put in by many different girls and Melody’s have felt, by far, the best. I usually have to go out and buy a bottle of Advil and pop about 10 per day for the following week after having extensions put in. I didn’t feel any pain while she was putting them in (and I’m usually in excruciating pain during) nor did I feel any pain after, I was a little sore the first night and it was hard to sleep but I always expect that. She was gentle, quick and very friendly. I believe her tracks are $ 25 – 30 depending on what special she is running at the moment.
Also, when I pulled up to park at the salon a really nice man that works there named Mr. Jones alerted me to move my car otherwise I would get a parking ticket– I appreciated that.
White girls, black girls, yellow, brown and orange girls RUN don’t walk to get your weaves did by Melody– cheaper and much healthier way to get extensions!

I rarely have time to drive to The Salon on Pico. I wear my hair in a very short ‘boy’ cut so the local barber shop gets most of my money. Every once in a while, though you just need a quality cut. Owner, LaVaughn Holland cuts my hair personally and I’m often fortunate to catch Charveda in house for a quick eyebrow waxing. I always leave this place sparkling like a shiny new penny and feeling fine.

If you want your hair styled and well conditioned, go to the Salon. The atmosphere is great, and the products are the best. Coffee is one of the best stylist in Los Angeles.
