The Happy Inka is a food booth at the Century City Farmer’s Market on Thursdays. I get the #2 with chicken, which is Chaufas if you are familiar with Peruvian food. If not Chaufas is sort of like the fried rice you would get at a Chinese restaurant(rice, green onion, egg, meat) but there are Peruvian spices, which are similar to the spices used in other Latin dishes. They also have this green sauce to put on the top. The Chaufas is delicious and since I work in Century City I probably eat this 3 – 4 times per month. I would not even bother with Hawaiian Chicken, this is the best hot food at the Century City Farmer’s Market

The Happy Inka is a food booth at the Century City Farmer’s Market on Thursdays. They offer fast flavorful Peruvian food. The Hawaiian Chicken line is ridiculously long, so I often find myself trying the other booths. The Happy Inka had no line so I was a bit wary, but I loved that they had a table with all their combos sitting out on plates. I like to see what I’m getting before I commit. If it wasn’t for these visuals, I might not have eaten there. I ordered the fish and rice and I wondered if I was an idiot for ordering fish at a farmer’s market but it was pretty tasty. It’s been a few hours since lunch and I still feel fine. The only thing is, I had to wait FOREVER for my order. Everyone else seemed to be ordering the beef or chicken and those orders were ready faster. But hopefully this is a sign that my fish was fresh! All in all a decent experience. It’s a nice option to have when you want something simple and tasty. The dish was $ 10 which is a little steep for what it was, but hey, it’s Century City. The food court at the mall across the way would have been the same.
