I strongly recommend The Body Shop Hemp Body Butter to anyone with eczema(or even anyone with just uncomfortably dry skin). This butter started relieving my eczema within minutes — one of the only true miracle skincare products I’ve ever found. I also use a very gentle soap and have added oils to my diet(like hemp and coconut), and my eczema is totally under control.

Took advantage of the Buy 3/Get 3. The girls working there were very helpful, knowledgeable, and knew what to recommend to a guy in his 30s trying to take care of his skin(and keep those wrinkles away). Tea Tree face wash/toner, night cream, and an SPF face lotion for the day. Works for me. :)

I had an expired Living Social deal… I know… how could I let that happen? But it did. Since the deal was STILL good for the $ 10 I paid for it, I was determined to get something out of it. When you use an expired deal, you often get a sales associate that doesn’t understand how that works and may try to give you a hard time. That didn’t happen here. It’s standard for The Body Shop… I always think their selection is small but I did manage to find a few things. Service is… well, it’s enthusiastic. There were no customers except me so I had a couple of ladies very eager to help. One with a particularly odd approach — strange questions. Maybe she got into the patchouli? Other than that, pretty routine non-essential hippie smelling shopping.

Came in for some facial green tea facial cleaning towelettes. Employees always pretty friendly and helpful. Tried a few samples, checked out sale items and see what’s new. Pretty small store but this works for the neighborhood. Pretty cool to try out some of their products before you buy. We ended up buying a loofa and some facial sponges.

Had an incredible experience here. Came in to use a groupon I had bought a moth before. They have this wheel up front(for a Christmas promotion) which you spin to determine which special deal you get for your purchases. I got«buy 2 get 2 free» and was able to use it in conjunction with my groupon! I love when things like that happen. If you need any advice about their skin are lines, ask Mati. She studied my skin for a few seconds and then recommended a routine for me, showing me items from different lines. What I absolutely loved is that she never put them in my hands to «hold» so I never felt pressured to buy all of her recommendations. I loved them so much I actually bought most of them anyway. Between the promotion and groupon it was totally doable financially. And Mati gave me samples of the two things I decides not to buy that day. So in conclusion, the staff is wonderful — friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy or annoying. The products are great from my present and past experiences. And if you need help with making your decision, see Mati.

i would say this place is slightly below bath&body works(i’m sure u kno what i’m talking about)…but i do luv their passion fruit or papaya(or whatever ‘flavor’ it is) shower gel cuz it REALLY smells like the fruit it says on the bottle&the occasional fruity lip gloss&what not…&i like how they have different oils(usually displayed at the entrance) to create your own scent(which i should actually try1of these days).

Love, love, love their coconut oil products! The body butter, the shower crème, the shimmer lotion, the pure organic virgin oil, you name it, it keeps my skin lubed up and smellin’ like summer, even when I’m miles from the beach. They also carry the best bath sponges. I especially love the cactus fibre scrubs and natural loofahs. Yes, you got me, I am all about the bath. I’m that girl with the obscene bath time collection who can’t live anywhere without a separate tub and shower. What can I say? That’s just how I roll. Do I buy all of their free trade rhetoric? Nah, not always. Do I think it’s totally over priced for what it is? Of course I do. Will I spend my last penny to keep myself stocked up on that shit? Hell, yes!

I’ve always found the staff to be remarkably friendly in a low-pressure, non-annoying way. You can tell they actually enjoy their work and like their products. And they’re a little more down-to-earth than some of the other snobbish stores in the mall. They have a great selection of stuff, and if you pay just a little attention, there are some great deals to be had. This store makes that entire wing of the mall smell good. :) I can only assume their products do the same for me… Ha!
