Parking: 4 stars The parking lot adjacent to the truck is has plenty of the free spaces. Only downside is that the parking lot is not well lit at night. Service: 4 stars When I arrived, the two people working there were cleaning up and then sat down on the metal chairs they have house out for customers. When I asked if they were closed, they said no and immediately got up and back into the truck to take my order. The woman was very pleasant and patient while I figured out what I wanted and when I asked for foil last second to take my order to go. Taco de buche: 3 stars Nothing much to say about these. Texture and flavor were ok but I didn’t much care it. I like my buche a little more fried, and diced smaller. Taco de asada: 3.5 stars Nice, tender texture. Flavor was decent. Taco de lengua: 5 stars This was the real gem find here that will bring me back! Lengua was guisado style, stewed to a perfect melt-in-your-mouth tender texture, and a rich, savory flavor which synergized so well with the salsa. Just the right amount onion and cilantro. This is how I love my lengua. Additional notes: Tortillas were standard; small taqueria style; corn; store bought; on the upside, nicely warmed up and softened(if just a little too moist on one of them) Salsa was very good. Not really spicy(to me) but served well to enhance the flavors of the meats. 3 tacos was $ 4 even. Great deal! Next time I’ll order 3 lengua tacos, squeeze that lime, and get taken to terrific taco de tongue town!
