Sophie Davies – Hair Stylist & Master Colorist

Sophie is AMAZING! She is the perfect example of you get what you pay for. Her color is bar none the BEST!!! It is surpassed only by her attention to her customers. She thinks about her clients after they leave the chair and what is best for their hair. She is also extremely tech savvy to make purchasing your service or product absolutely seamless! I highly recommend Sophie as well as her incredible Davine products. My hair has never been so well cared for!

Sophie is a miracle worker!!! A couple of years ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, when she shaved her head, I decided to cut 9 inches off of my hair with her. I kept a fun short style for a while but very recently decided to start growing it out.
Along with growing my hair out, I decided to lighten the color because I had been coloring it blue black for a while now. I went to the salon I normally go to to start this process. The gal there completely destroyed my hair. I mean IT WAS BAD!!! I came home and cried to my husband because I hated the way I looked.
Flash forward to me finding Sophie. I called her and we chatted for about 20 min on the phone and I told her my story. A couple days later I went in to see her. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and we consulted for about 40 minutes before she got down to business. She is absolutely amazing!!! She turned my fried uneven awful hair into a sexy healthy gorgeous style!!! I am forever indebted to her. Thank you thank you thank you my dear Sophie!!! You have brought confidence back into my world!

I went to Sophie’s salon for a hair consultation and was amazed at the time she took to address my needs and discuss options for my hair. She then followed with a hair cut and color which was amazing! I would recommend her services to EVERYONE! Honestly so very happy to find a beautiful hair salon and a great stylist in LA.

My wife and I have been going to Sophie for years, and she’s got some serious game! The first time I went to Sophir, she got me in last minute before a job interview, and man, did she deliver — I looked great and I landed the job! I’ve been going to her ever since.
Sophie’s got a great instinct for what style fits you best and executes it perfectly every time. She’s the hair whisperer, a maestro of style, the Yoda to my mane. Better still, Sophie always creates a friendly, inviting atmosphere that’s both engaging and relaxing. She’s a great stylist and an even greater person.

I just got my hair done and blown out at this place. Sophie was amazing. I never know what to do with my hair and she advised me on the perfect cut to frame my face and I have already gotten tons of complements. She knows the modern trends and fashions. I’m soooo excited!

Sophie is da bomb!
I had been going to the same hair stylist in Beverly Hills for over 20 years. Once in a while I would try someone new as the drive was a pain and I never found anyone I liked.
But now I have Sophie!!! She did an amazing job at duplicating what I wanted and took so much time with me. I wasn’t just another person to move in and out of her chair. She did an amazing job! I know have a new hair stylist closer to home. Yay!!!

I went to Sophie to get a completely different hair style. I had long, but, damaged ends. My hair hadn’t been cut in months. It was hard to decide to get it cut after taking so long to grow it out.
I called Sophie, who had been highly recommended to me, and made an appt. Sophie explained she was happy to help me. It was a relief.
Before our appt., I called her again for a brief phone consultation to discuss a hairstyle I found and she steered me into a specific style to get my style on point.
At my appt. Sophie asked me how much length I’d be willing to cut in order to bring my hair to a healthy state and create the style we were going for — after washing my hair and getting a better sense of the condition of my ends, she recommended taking another two inches off. She was right; she also made it easy for me to make the leap while she explained and showed me what would work, and she conveyed that no matter what length I was comfortable with she would make my hair look good.
The end result is that I took her advice and love my hair again! I’d worn it everyday in a ponytail or bun for three weeks before seeing her. I now have style again, my hair is soft around my face but is still shoulder length in front and slightly shorter in the back: an a-​line bob. Never thought I’d be happy with cutting so much hair off. I look pretty again :) It’s funny, but, I feel much better!

I’m extremely picky about my stylists…
after living in NYC for over twenty years I certainly had a lot of choices but once I found one I could communicate with I would stay loyal and develop a collaboration!!!
I found a wonderful collaborative creative stylist with Sophie– she takes my suggestions and builds on them. Unlike the big time salons which can feel like a factory she found a way to make her business really personal. She is attentive and loyal. She always finds time for me. Over the past year that we’ve worked together we created a special color and shopped around til she found that special ingredient when I wantedy own color trademark. She makes it her business to get my aesthetic. People underestimate what stylists do, it’s a very specialized service that requires a blend of creativity, technical acumen, psychology, and a bit of the shaman:)
Sophie has garnered her Master Stylist and Colorist many times over in my book! I highly recommend paying. a visit.

I’ve had Sophie cut and style my hair several times now. I am very particular about my hair cuts and I have to say that Sophie was one of the best I’ve had. She really took the time to do a perfect job, she is professional and LISTENED to what I wanted done and didn’t just do her own thing like I’ve had some other stylists do. One huge bonus is when she shampoos and conditions your hair (twice, once in the beginning and again at the end), she massages your scalp and neck and its seriously relaxing. You should go to her for THAT alone. I’ve never had care like that before. I felt pampered, seriously. You can also tell that she really loves what she does and takes it seriously, but also makes the experience fun for you. She talks with you (but not too much, she’s not a chatter box like some stylists are) and makes you feel comfortable and treats you like a VIP. Very nice. You wont be disappointed.

I am a 50 plus woman who started going gray when I was 21. I have done the home color routine as well as professional and was never happy with how the «pro’s» have handled my hair.
After more than 30 years, I found Sophie, she is an angel. She listened to my concerns, evaluated what my hair really needed and took care of everything for me.
She is caring, patient and such a joy to be around. I now see her on a monthly basis for a touch up and refresh as well as any styling needs I may have.
I would recommend her for anyone who is looking for a stylist.

SOPHIE cut my hair and I have never had anyone spend the time and care that she did. I thought I was getting a regular men’s cut which ended up way above and beyond with her skill and expertise. It actually was the best cut I have ever had. I will for sure be going back every time.

Sophie is great! She’s done my hair many times now. She’s made me a blond, then a brunette and then back blond :) She has also done my Brazilian Blowout! I’m picky and change my mind a lot. Sophie has always been patient and understanding while still suggesting her expert advice. Her color skill are wonderful!
