I went here with some friends for dinner. We had a 6pm reservation. Apparently they don’t have valet parking until later in the evening, so we all had to find spots on our own. The food was ok, although it took a really long time to be served. The waiter stated there was an issue with their computer system. A few of us ordered steaks, and were a bit disappointed that they were not cooked evenly. Sealing the deal to make it a 3 star review: one of the people at my table asked for her left over food to be packed. They did, and brought her a bag with her food. The bag had clearly been lying on the floor and was covered in foot prints. We needed to ask for the bag to be replaced. All in all, next time il just drive to Oxnard to go to the winery…

4 and half stars: Best steak I’ve ever had by far!!! The chef really knows how to prepare & cook the steak down to the science. My husband likes his steak medium & I like mine medium-well done. Most steakhouses we’ve been to have messed it up. They either brought us a piece of completely uncooked pink meat or burnt. But at Shiloh’s they really know their stuff. We have been to this steakhouse many many times for the past decade I would say & each time I can tell you the food experience was even better. The ambiance of this Restuarant is very classy chic. It’s got high boots that are completely isolated from one another. They decorated the walls very nicely with the different kosher wine selection. Tonight we ordered sliders which was so delicious & the 18 oz corn fed steak with sautéed mushrooms on the side. They also provide variety of different steak sauces with your steak & they all are pretty damn delicious. I’m giving 4 and half stars to my most favorite steakhouse in LA not because of the quality of the food but because our waiter today was very abrupt. He was in a rush, it almost seemed like he didn’t even have time to take our order. Also when the bill came, they over charged us on the wine(our wine was $ 7/glass but they had charged us $ 30). As soon as we mentioned it to our waiter, he went ahead & fixed it immediately but just watch out & make sure to look at your bill & not just pay it immediately. Overall, I LOVE this steakhouse & recommend it to everyone.

Waited more than 2 hrs on a Saturday night for my food. When I received my steak was cold and raw. Extremely slowww service. Every single table around us complained about bad food. I will never come back. They need to change soon before they close the place down for no business.

The service was wonderful, loved and appreciated that a kosher restaurant could offer such excellent service! The appetizers were good. For main meals my husband and brother in law got the hamburgers, which we’re very delicious! My sister and I ordered a bbq chicken salad to share. We were disappointed,(A)The menu says it comes with avocado and corn which neither were there,(B) the salad is a cold salad which was not that appetizing. The 4 stars are due to the exceptional service how they easily took the salad back and switched it out for a caesar salad. This is where it gets a bit disappointing, when the bill arrived my husband looked over it and we noticed there were $ 30 worth of over charges. They did gladly remove it quickly without hesitation but it’s just upsetting if you don’t read over it that this can happen.

Hands down one of the best kosher restaurants on Pico. Atmosphere is awesome, cool, hip, modern, and romantic. Steaks are amazing and they know how to prepare them. Appetizers are really unique and tasty. I find that restaurants owned and operated by French people tend to be high quality, tasty, and elegant. Their catering is AMAZING! Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic Food!!! Came here with my friends who only eat kosher. The food was presented perfectly and tasted even better. I will for sure go back any time i am in Los Angeles and would recommend the sea bass and mousse cake for desert with a side of their Israeli Malbec which was a first for me. Also i ran into an artist that i follow which made my experience over the top!!!(Mrbrainwash)

If you want good steak, come here. But they also have a lot of other delicious food. I tried a lot of things but you definitely have to order right here and some things are much better than others. Can’t go wrong with steak. I also had the ceviche and it was very good. It was served on top of dry ice which was a cool presentation. The waiter was friendly and the restaurant had a family feel.

This is a really great restaurant to dine-in, lunch or dinner. I usually go to eat during dinner and it has a great ambiance and workers are very friendly and helpful. Food is awesome especially the tart flambé to start. Beef bacon is beast. And the rib eye is delicious. Highly recommend this great modern steakhouse.

Called for a reservation at 130 and confirmed with the restaurant closed at 3. Showed up and the staff was rude and angry at us, stating they closed at 2 Why would you book us for a reservation? Then get pissed at us? Horrible service, no thanks

Is it Shiloh? Shilo? Nobody at the restaurant seems to know the answer so why would they care about the food? I went with a party of 5 for some steaks and were all very hungry. After surveying most of the reviews here, I expected something pretty spectacular. The plus side is that these steaks are kosher, so if that’s important to you, you’ll get an average meal. If it doesn’t matter to you and you just want a great steak, you might want to go elsewhere. The steaks might be aged 21 days but they’re not going to be prepared in a way that you’d expect with prices like these. There’s going to be a lack of flavor in the steaks actually because they provide an array of five different sauces that you’re supposed to use. For me, that’s a huge minus. I don’t want to need a sauce for my steak to taste good but I ended up dipping because I had to(nobody explained what any of the sauces were but more on the service later). I ended up ordering the 18oz Ribeye($ 58), which came highly recommended. The steak was very fatty and comes with vegetable and a side of potato(you can get baked, mashed, fingerling, fries, etc). The baked potato was pretty dry and disappointing, but does come with beef bacon bits. The steak came medium rare just as I requested, but the steaks my friends got weren’t as on point. Some were dry but all around, we all agreed that flavor just wasn’t there. One steak was overcooked but was replaced without incident. When it came back, it was severely undercooked… which i suppose is a lesser crime at least but still, not the way it was ordered. The Caesar Salad($ 10) was nothing to write home about, certainly a smaller portion than many other steakhouses I’ve been to. Some of the other salads had better portions. There’s a section called«EXCITINGSIDES» on the menu and there it contains $ 9 truffle fries, which is a complete rip. The menu says they’re «steak cut», but they’re pretty much the same frozen fry variety you’d find at McDonald’s. The better option to get is the rosemary fingerling potatoes, which is a standard side that comes with your steak. Also ordered was the Beef Bacon($ 8), which is kind of like bacon… but beef… reminiscent of beef jerky. It’s not bad, but it’s also just… a plate of jerky. Service: I think this is where the restaurant could have squeezed out a 3 star review from me. Service is slow. Incredibly slow. Not that our server wasn’t a kind person, but was certainly not a good server. He took beer orders for four of us, and didn’t bother waiting for the 5th person to make his order. Came back to deliver some of our beers to take his order… it’s just… something not usually done. We were neglected for the most part after the order was taken and the food was delivered by busboys who didn’t know where which steak went so there’s a lot of just looking at a piece of paper trying to figure that out instead of just communicating with us what they were delivering(they got two wrong out of five). Our extra sides weren’t delivered with our meal, but a little while after. After we finished dinner, we waited. And waited. And waited. It started to become comical that we’d wait so long for someone to ask how everything was or if there were dessert options or if we’d like our bill. We had enough time to discuss within my party that we no longer wanted dessert, but wanted to see how much the server cared to bother showing it. And as expected, when asked to see the dessert options, he just ran through them without even trying to convince us. We would have gone for one or two had he put just a little effort into the presentation. But he didn’t, so we asked for the bill. This was really disappointing. From the food to the service, I’m afraid I won’t be returning because it just isn’t worth it. There’s too many GREAT steak places in Los Angeles. This isn’t even close.

I love steak and nothing beats steak like Kosher steak. No I’m not Jewish but that’s besides the point. The meat is definitely fresh and succulent. I have dined here, and held a few events at this restaurant and each time really enjoyed both the ambiance and food. This restaurant is a small family owned restaurant and you can tell by the quality of the food and it’s preparation that they mean to impress. The servers are professional, the valet is quaint and the steak… Ohhh yes. It’s good. I’ve found this restaurant to be equally as delicious as my other favorites like Morton’s, Ruth Chris, or BOAs. Of course those are much more expensive and really just chained whereas here I’m helping a small business. Here’s to good quality, delightful service, and seriously an adorable ambiance! There’s also street parking if you want to save a few! I’ll be back! Happy Eats Unilocalers

Ok, so I’m not Jewish and I don’t eat meat but I loved this place! As a vegan, it makes me so happy eating at kosher places that serve meat because I can rest assured that anything that is vegetarian is also 100% vegan and I don’t have to worry about dairy contamination in the bread or something like that. I had the penne primavera, with a side of mashed potatoes and risotto. The portions are quite large so I ended up sharing the side with others. The pasta was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned and fresh veggies. The mashed potatoes were quite good as well. The risotto was a mushroom risotto and I found the mushroom flavor to be overwhelming so I wasn’t a fan of the risotto. The customer service was excellent and our server was quite knowledgable and helpful. This place is outside my budget on average but I would definitely come back for a special occasion. They do offer valet parking but I just parked on a side street without much problem.
