Ruby’s is Ruby’s. We had a good chocolate shake. But then they left the onion rings off my hickory sliders. I figured, fine, I flagged down a waitress and pointed that out and asked for three onion rings, and asked if they could get them to me before the sliders got cold. 15 minutes later, when my sliders are stone cold, they bring me an entire order of onion rings. I didn’t want an order of onion rings. I just wanted onion rings on my sliders. They made me a new order, which I got to eat after my son was done with his meal. I just love having my time wasted by morons.

Decided to stop by Ruby’s diner this morning in the citadel outlet mall. The menu had a decent range from healthy to hearty. I got the sriracha burger($ 11.99) with a double vanilla malt($ 5.99). The burger and malt came out within a timely manner, and the servers were rather attentive. The burger itself was cooked just as i had ordered it, which was good. The burger was pretty spicy and featured romaine lettuce to my surprise. The fries tasted frozen which was mildly dissappointing. The malt was probably my favorite part of the meal, it was rich, thick, and delicious. The décor was on point, i felt like i had went back in time, to an authentic 50’s diner. Overall it was a pretty cool experience and i would go back. Although i would probably order something other than the sriracha burger.

This place is okay but better for dessert. The service was AWFUL. Our server didn’t offer any desserts or come over to check on us. She also gave us our tab before we were done eating. The food itself was okay but a bit greasy. The soft serve was awesome though.

I have been here with my family several times. The burgers are always very tasty and I love the garlic fries. However if you plan on coming for breakfast you may want to shy away from the eggs benedict. The two times I have ordered it I was expecting a beautiful flow of yoke to ooze out of my poached egg, but instead the egg was solid and cooked completely through. I don’t know about you but that is not what I expect when ordering an eggs benedict. I ordered it a second time to give them another chance, I even specified how I wanted the poached egg cooked. Unfortunately once again I was disappointed!

We decided to eat here after shopping around and it was a best decision. We had ranch burger and i forgot the name sandwich :) both were so good. Our waitress was pretty attentive as well. You should come here when you visit Citadel Outlet Mall.

Got seated right away it was Tuesday so not busy. Got approached by the waitress quickly and ordered. Food took awhile to arrive but it was ok. The portions were good if you’re really hungry you’d finish it so not really good for sharing. Overall was good their shakes are amazing!

Got hungry and stopped by this spot on Citadel Outlets. We ordered the Turkey Caliente Burger and French Toast Turkey Breast Sandwich. The Turkey Burger was nice and juicey, with a little bit of spiciness. The bread used is too thick for my liking. The Turkey Breast Sandwich was fine but again the bread used is too thick for our liking. They serve«endless» fries but is inconsistent. My batch was dry and oily, and the other batch was cooked just right. Service was fast and attentive but the food can use some improvement.

Worst service ever! Food took forever. Fries were cold. Our second waitress Kimberly was horrible. I won’t be back! The only good thing is the manager is nice.

Johnny Rockets! Just kidding; this is a decent burger joint if you’re not willing to leave the outlet, but other then that I would probably steer clear from here. After starving myself for the whole day and doing some light shopping, we decided to give Ruby’s a try since it convenient, plus they had burgers, refillable fries, shakes, and all the greasy, sugary foods you can think of. We came around closing time, and was promptly sat down by the hostess. We saw some new Ahi burger and salad on the menus, but honestly who gets those here. Without further adieu, we ordered a classic cheeseburger and the mushroom burger, which came with a side of fries. I enjoyed the class cheeseburger, it was simple and definitely satisfied my burger craving, while the fries were decent, probably a hit or miss. However, the mushroom burger lacked taste and the beef patty was dry, which ruined any potential the burger had. We didn’t really need a refill on fries, the burgers were filling and the fries didn’t scream for more afterwards. Overall, I would suggest you go out of citadel and drive further to an in n out or another burger joint. The overall cost for a classic cheeseburger and mushroom was $ 23 after tip. It was more on the pricy side given the quality of the burger; however if you don’t feel like driving then you should give this place a go. Just don’t expect too much.

I came here after shopping at the outlets. The menu was pretty basic, nothing really stood out to me. I played it safe by ordering a cobb salad. I am a very picky person on how I like my salad made and it came to the table exactly how I wanted it. Perfect! The ranch dressing was delicious! Our waitress was friendly and the bathroom was clean. The bathroom has separate bathrooms inside with doors the floor so I appreciated that. I will try again.

Was out shopping and decided to stop in rubys! There was no wait and we were seated right away. Our server Kimberly was great. She was very attentive and kept the refills coming!!! The chili cheese fries weren’t that great and the Cajun fries is just seasoning sprinkled on them. But overall everything was good!

Lol That milkshake seriously made me smile lol

A great place to fuel before shopping or refuel after shopping. On this occasion I had the waffle breakfast. The waffle was not crispy or sweet tasking, instead it was quite limp and bland. Adding syrup to the waffle did no seem to improve the taste. Service, however was excellent.

I’m not sure why so many people give Ruby’s such a bad review. It was my first time and I didn’t know what to order, so I got the Gauc Burger. I was expecting some regular burger with some avocado in it, but it wasn’t just avocado, it had some other stuff mixed with it. I think it was like peppers or something. Whatever it was, it was a GOOD burger. I pretty much devoured it, lol! The fries were pretty good too. I got an Arnold Palmer to drink, but sorry to say it want a good mixture. You always want to put more lemonade, but they just did 50⁄50 mix. I don’t really know what others are complaining about, but I had a great time with great service with great food. If you’re in the area, you should check it out. You may have just as good of a time as I did!

My first time at a Ruby’s Diner! This particular Ruby’s is located in Citadel. Really clean, friendly, and cute! Love the décor. Makes me feel like I’m at a diner in the 50s. Also love how almost all tables are cute booths! But if you’re stuck outside, not to worry — it’s really nice on their patio with the space heaters. I also want to emphasize how CLEAN this place is(especially when compared to a vast majority of Johnny Rockets). I was amazed at how good the service was, even with a packed to the brim restaurant(one hour wait). Alright, things I didn’t like: almost all of their food. I feel like their individual ingredients may be good, but the assembly is rushed. Presentation and toppings are both lacking! Unlimited fries are included with every entrée. Upgrade to garlic or Cajun for $ 1. Upgrade to chili fries for $ 3(not refillable). Sriracha Burger(~$ 12): Burger was very dry. Patty was not juicy. All around, it felt like something I could throw together at home with minimal cooking skills. Turkey Burger with Guac(~$ 12): Guac was pretty good. Patty was pretty good. But there was waaaaay too little Guac and almost no sauce. This made the burger really dry. Especially with the super thin patty and super thick(dry) buns. Irish Nachos(~$ 9): Little thin potato spuds(similar to a chip but thicker) with sour cream, cheese, and bacon. I really regretted getting this dish. Potato spuds were soggy. There was only a DRIZZLE of sour cream and a pinch of cheese. We had to ask for more sour cream. But overall, it just tasted like eating plain potatoes. It also looked like they just threw it on the plate randomly. Garlic Fries($ 1 upgrade for entrees): No complaints. Your average shoestring fries covered with garlic butter. I liked how they used fresh garlic. But if you aren’t a garlic lover like I am, it may be too strong for you. Chili Fries($ 2.50 upgrade with entrée): Their chili isn’t a hearty bean/beef chili. It had no beans and seems like it is more tomato based. Really good though. I do like their chili. However, they literally give you one TABLESPOON of chili over your(already included) fries. If I’m paying $ 2.50 for just a chili topping, I at least expect my fries to be covered in it! Especially when a whole bowl of it is only $ 3.99(I think). Butterfinger Milkshake($ 6): So delishhhh. Best thing on the menu. Would recommend. You get a lot of yummy little bits of Butterfinger, and the shake isn’t overwhemingly sweet! Conclusion: try the shakes. Dont get anything else.

Brunch on Tuesday, 10÷27÷15 They’re located in an outlet shopping center. I’m so glad they have designated parking spots to avoid the crowd. We walked in with no wait in line and the hostess immediately seated us. We asked for both the breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger with unlimited fries. It was delicious aside from the buns. For some reason, it was a bit dry. I added a bit of ketchup to one bite for moisture but of course it deterred from the original taste of the burger so I stopped. The fries are thin(not like shoe-string ones though) and crispy. They serve a good size so I didn’t end up with another serving. Ruby’s has good burgers and service but I usually go to Umami for their juicy truffle burgers at a sit-down setting. Ruby’s isn’t a bad place but it was just ordinary for me.

The décor is cool. Lot’s of stuff to look at. I like 50’s diners even though I’m not really into traditional American food. Roxy was a great server. Hope the managers read this review. I ordered a monster Kobe Wagyu beef burger. It was on the dry side, but then again I elected to have no dressing on it. I did not like their brioche bun at all. It was too dry. The fries are OK. The burger was enormous and they give you lots of fries. What can I do without here? Hit and miss food. What makes Ruby’s Diner stand out? Roxy our server and the décor! Three stars. This place is really ridiculously mediocre.
