Pretty good for a hospital cafeteria. My biggest tip: get the Tapatio packets for your meal! It makes everything better. Breakfast: — I like to stick to the grill: they will make you eggs/bacon/hashbrowns, etc. — Omelettes are a good option if you have 10 minutes to spare — I love the breakfast specials on the weekdays, you get a very decent amount of food with Coffee for about $ 5. — another great option is the healthy breakfast option: you can get oatmeal/cream of wheat, with coffee, and a piece of fruit — Starbucks coffee: they serve it there, or you can get the real stuff next door. Lunch: — Tons of options, I usually avoid the burrito station(meh). — Sushi is consistently pretty good, they make it in front of you and you get a combo deal for about $ 10 with salad, sushi, and water — Tortilla soup wednesdays! Ask for extra chips — Sandwich station is pretty good if that’s what you’d like Dinner: — The grill will make you whatever you’d like. I love bacon double cheeseburgers — Philly Cheese steak is pretty good as well. — Grilled cheese! Just make sure they don’t do that texas toast nonsense and use real bread — Salad bar: consistently well-stocked until the later parts of the day. Snacks: — Donuts! They aren’t Do-not’s! but they’re spelled that way… Hmm. — Pretty good assortment of miscellaneous items like trail mix, nuts, gummy’s — Good selection of cocacola products! — they have that non-satisfying healthy icecream stuff. It’s meh Improvements: it would only be better if it had some fried food. Bring on the french fries! Gimme soft-serve ice cream! Overall though, very good selection for a hospital cafeteria.

Well, not too excited to be here, but a man has to eat. We asked one of the very friendly staff here at UCLA of a close place to eat and she recommended the cafeteria. We are glad she did, because man, they have some good quality food here and I’m glad not over priced because of the many people here on a budget. Which is very nice and thoughtful of them. At the cafeteria they have a variety of sections and food to choose from and they preprare it in front of you. The food we had was delicious, good quality, a lot of healthy alternatives, the staff were all very nice and friendly, very clean, plenty of places to sit at, and everything was easy and hassle free.

Impressive food for a hospital cafeteria. Plenty of options and decent prices. There are hot dishes, a salad bar, and prepared meals like sandwiches. I recommend the Baked Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy; filling and under $ 9! I tried the Corn too, but it was less impressive. The Cinnamon Cigar pastry is absolutely delicious for an afternoon snack with some tea.

I consider myself a bit of connoisseur of hospital dining and this place is 5 stars. Last time I was here a few years ago the pricing was great and the food was tasty. Variety galore. And fun cute doctor watching. :p. The first time I visited this new hospital, I thought I was in Star Wars. It was stunningly white there — the design was beautiful. TIP: After eating wander over to the chapel; it’s very nice and a good place to meditate or have some quiet time.

Mostly healthy options with a few guilt items, though these tend to not be too great, like the pizza(yuck). The soups at $ 3 are excellent. The salad bar is a good deal $ 6– $ 8 for a healthy appetite and the main meals with orange juice are just over $ 8. I like how they forced me to switch from soda to OJ.

This place proves that not all hospital cafeterias have nasty tasting food! It’s not amazing but the entrees are pretty legit! For a reasonable price around $ 7.25 you get entrée plus two sides and small fountain drink, not too bad. The grilled station makes some decent breakfast foods cooked to order, and there is the soup and salad bar and random things in the fridges. Drink station has broad options including Starbucks coffee. Oh and they added a sushi bar lol though I haven’t tried. Has what you would want in a cafeteria with a lot of selections such as yogurt, snacks, bottled drinks, fruit, etc. at reasonable pricing(and discounts for students too!). Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. It has saved my butt many times when I was hungry and coffee deprived before my intern/volunteer shifts and I am grateful that it is here. The foods actually taste pretty good and fresh most times so I think this place deserves more credit. Also staff are really nice so can’t really go wrong with that! If it were a legit restaurant sure 3 stars is prob what I would give but the fact that it’s a cafeteria makes it impressive. We shouldn’t take this place for granted!

Wow! So many fresh choices and at least 6 stations for food… Do you want Mexican or Suchi? …I had to walk around and check everything out before deciding… settled on a Chicken Avocado Burrito that beat Chipolte. Glad I now work here! Love the indoor/outdoor seating too. Burrito was only $ 6 too!

Hospital & doctor trips are not fun. Take the sting out of your next trip with a visit to the place where you can gorge. UCLA not only has a great medical center, but the food isn’t bad at all! You’ll love it.

Not open 24 hours. unbelievable that I can’t get a warm coffee while waiting at er on a Sunday night. Worst the vending machines don’t take cc only bruin or I’m guessing hospital regulated cards. Starving and need something with caffeine not cool

If you want food then that’s what you got. Always will come back again. Not exactly hospital food. Great taste. Cold drinks. Nice atmosphere.

Nice cafeteria that has a nice selection of food. High as giraffe ***** but as a bus operator you have to eat when and where you can. I usually go to the El Pollo Loco that’s on the inside.

Selection: The Ronald Reagan cafeteria has a great selection, from everything from El Pollo Loco burritos, to pizzas, to plated meals(see the great assortment of pictures already posted on Unilocal), to nice sandwiches. If you can think of it, they probably sell it here. Flavor: I’d say this cafeteria is good, but not excellent. It’s pretty standard cafeteria-style food, and nothing is really very«special» if that makes sense. What I mean by that is the assortment of spices and seasonings that you’d typically see in restaurant-style food, really isn’t that prevalent in the food served here. Everything is a bit plain, but I may be a bit biased as I’ve spent the last three years of my life in North Carolina where everything is all about full, bold flavors. This«middle of the road» taste is the reason why the cafeteria gets an «A-OK» rating by me. It’s a good cafeteria, but it’s not really much better than other hospital cafeterias out there. Convenience: Don’t come here during the lunch rush unless you want to wait in line after line. Every single station has a line at least 6 – 7 persons long during the lunch rush, and don’t expect that line to move very quickly. The dining hall style seating where all the tables are arranged in long rows suits large groups very well, but isn’t ideal for a bunch of lonely people. I’m not docking any stars for this abundance of people, but I’d just like to warn any future patrons that just because they’re a huge hospital’s cafeteria doesn’t mean that they’re equipped to serve an army. Price: In short, its reasonable. I paid $ 6.20 for my burrito, and another couple bucks for a drink and I’d say it was worth it, but honestly, I wish I wasn’t so pressed for time always and could just walk to the amazing places that are right down the street in Westwood like In-N-Out, Chipotle, or Chick-fil-A.

This review is for one thing only… two words… GRILLEDCHEESE!!! After a hard stressful night shift I’d treat myself with one of these bad boys… you can tell them to add pretty much anything(bacon/egg/eggwhites/turkeysausage) but I like it classic. Im known at work for recommending this for breakfast… Just the cheese on some Texas toast… and some ranch on the side.(Ranch?!? Yes ranch… just trust me ok) When I worked dayshift I’d eat this every day… gained 10lbs in 1 month. Hahahhaha #worthit

It gets SUPER crowded around lunch time because that’s when everyone and their moms are on their lunch breaks. Try to go around 11 or after 1:30PM and the lines will die down. The line to the salad bar can get really long where it’ll wrap around the cafeteria. There’s a wide range of food to pick from but after working here for two years, you kind of get sick of getting the food that’s served here. My favorite is the salad bar, especially when they serve salmon! Another favorite of mine is the omelette! But that line gets pretty long during peak hours, too.

I went here because they have a Starbucks inside. I had to get my coffee fix in the morning. The place is spacious and clean and a little more expensive than your Starbucks down the street. Did I mention they also have valet parking. Now I know where the Starbucks is located if I have any future business in the 100 or 200 medical buildings.

Yuck! Why would I go to a hospital cafeteria, you say? Well, I don’t know if you’ve ever been to UCLA because they don’t do anything related to food poorly. People are truly spoiled. The cafeteria itself isn’t huge but there are many options. From the grille to the Mexican to the Italian to the American it’s all there. The complete salad bar is subsidized so it’s super super cheap for fresh ingredients. There is an amazing sandwich station as well as fancy sushi. I always get the lobster sushi roll. It comes with seaweed salad and a regular salad. The only downside is that, although meals come with juice, the soda is more expensive! Plus. What’s so bad about rubbing elbows with all the cute doctors UCLA has to offer? A feast for the eyes and palate. Enjoy.

3.5 stars. I may be biased since I work here and am now very sick of the food, but here are my thoughts: although its a beautiful cafeteria with a lot of selection(at certain times of day), it is still expensive for the food you get. The one thing I LOVE is the stirfry/pasta station on the weekends. I am constantly annoyed by the hours because I am at the hospital at the break of dawn but the cafeteria doesn’t open till 6:30 on weekdays and 7:30 on weekends! Also, I know it is a hospital and we are striving to be healthy, but some fries now and then wouldn’t hurt and a frozen yogurt area would be amazing.
