R Studio

This place is great! I have to give my compliments to Daniel who takes care of bookings and owns the place. He’s hillarious, first of all– he’s a stand up comic, so we related well right off the bat. I needed to book a room that ‘looked likea ffake retirement home scene’- and he was so cool! He was on time when he met me, gave me the keys after I signed the papaer work. He has excelelnt customer service skills– the rate was super affordble, and I got the best footage. Excellent overall. Will be booking in the future for all my scenes. Great lighting, clean, easy.

We rented out R Studio 2 for a kids birthday party and it was a hit! Daniel was a pleasure to work with! Turning a blank room into a themed party is just something we love, so working with a «blank canvas» as this studio was perfect. This review is for the unfortunate experience I had renting R-​Studio last month.
From my first encounter with the owner, Daniel, I was put off by his social awkwardness. Not what you’d expect from someone who deals with numerous people on a daily basis. However, I let neither that nor the somewhat steep cost of the studio deter me from renting the place for my birthday party.
The studio was in slight disarray when I showed up on the day I’d booked it for. Folding chairs and random painting were strewn about, and the floor needed to be swept. So I had to handle that before even setting up my own decorations and equipment.
Daniel had mentioned several times previously that he wanted the studio returned in the same condition as it was before my event. So throughout the night, my friends and I made sure to clean up any spills or messes. After the party ended, we were literally on our hands and knees making sure the place was spotless.
The following day, despite the great care we took, Daniel wrote a harsh email to me and demanded a cleaning fee. He initially said having the floors steamed would cost $ 100.00. I replied explaining how thoroughly we had cleaned the studio. Then in a following email, he said the fee would be $ 75.00. Rather than go around in circles, I agreed to pay the lesser fee, as it was clear that he simply wanted more money.
If you’re looking for a studio rental to host an event, I would highly recommend seeking it elsewhere.

I go here regularly for the magnificent Jessie Diaz-​Perez’ yoga class. Serene, challenging, friendly, forgiving – whether you’re wearing $ 100 Lululemon or your favorite ratty old sweats.

This studio offers a variety of functions that I personally have taken advantage of. I found R Studio when I was looking for oil painting lessons and Daniel is a wonderful teacher. Then I found out that I can also rent this space for my own fitness business. It offers a clean, open working space, bathroom, parking, shops nearby, mirrored wall and more.
