We hosted a private party this past weekend for my girls’ 4th birthday, and we couldn’t have been happier with the service or the results! I will say that I did have to follow-up a bit more than I’m accustomed to, but they are quite busy now, considering that everyone has moved their respective parties indoors for fear of the El Nino rains! I was most impressed with the manager Sean. He really just went way above and beyond. At first, our party coordinator was not able to find a Peanuts-themed character for our party. But, when I told Sean how disappointed everyone would be if we didn’t have one, he called every vendor he knew and found someone at the very last minute, who was just perfect. The food was fantastic, the servers and DJ did a phenomenal job serving and entertaining the kids, the face painter created unbelievable designs for the children and Lyndsay, the party coordinator, was a delight to work with. It was definitely a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to throw another party at Giggles N’ Hugs again!

What’s up with the loud music? And the genre? Totally inappropriate for children. 30 minutes in there and my toddler was over excited and confused, and so were we. The play area is cool, but nothing better than our free sandbox park in Marvista. Food was ok. Overpriced. I won’t be going back there unless they turn down the music and change the playlist. Such a poor business decision!

worst experience ever. This place is nothing special but is NOTSAFE. Avoid it and be careful if you happen to go. They have a castle that is more like a tank full of classic plastic balls. Today, holiday, the place was packed and they had no control on the number of kids and adults using the facility. My two years old went into this tank and other 10 or more kids were inside as well. I Couldn’t see her anymore and i only managed to see her from the glass window while crying and having 3 older kids stepping on her. I’m pregnant 9 months and the only way to get into this tank was through a kids window that was blocked by two kids having fun not to let anyother baby out. An employee was standing in front of the window doing nothing but try to convince the 2 kids to move and let the others pass by. I almost had to dive to take my little one out. She had half of her face all red. I yelled at the employee and she run away. i followed her and asked to talk to the manager and he also was super rude trying to protect his employee instead of hearing what just happened. Right after he sent someone to ask me and my friends to leave. I really not recommend this place and already alerted the management at the Century Park Mall that this facility is unsafe.

I just had a birthday party here today & the only reason they are getting a 1 star instead of zero is because it is a large enclosed place that is fairly safe for children. Everything about my experience has been horrible. I would never recommend having a party here. They didn’t even provide goody bags even though they advertise it online. I reserved a tattoo artist for the little ones & they didn’t have one there. The makeup artist was extremely late. It is the worst, unorganized party planning service I have ever encountered. I had to call several times after I had already put a $ 1500 deposit before anyone ever called me back. They said I would get a call back but I never did & had to call multiple times. For a $ 5000 party, I expect a certain amount of professionalism & follow through. If you want to do all the planning & work yourself while paying an absolute premium, then this is the place for you. If I hadn’t already sent out the invites, I would have canceled the party even though I’d already given them $ 1500 just to reserve the room. Have a party anywhere but here!!!

We have come here before and this place is definitely a great option when the weather isn’t favorable for outside activities. It combines good entertainment for kids, as well as food options, and beverages for the adults! Both times we have come here there has always been an adult supervisor in the kids play area which definitely helps, since there are so many kids running around. I am sure there are better kid entertainment places in LA, and restaurants, but if you are looking for an indoor place for both kids and adults to hang out for an hour or two, I would recommend this place.

Staff is rude, inconsiderate, and pompous. Get a grip. You make 9 $/hr. Learn to treat customers better especially little kids. So rude.

This place is amazing!!! Samantha nicely and patiently explained everything to me. It’s 11 for kids but free with a meal! The burgers were grass fed and everything was organic/and it tasted amazing!!! Alec was my server and incredibly attentive and helpful. He was totally on it, and brought me all my adult beverages quickly! The wines and beer were also very reasonably priced. The manager Jocelyn came by and chatted w my baby and was very sweet. The play area was awesome– clean, safe, so many things to do– including a ball pit!!! Also, the play attendant, Molly, was sweet and good kid with the kids. Let me reiterate– the food was amazing! The play was awesome. I may move in here.

A very disappointing experience, Mr. Joey Parsi(Giggles N’ Hugs Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Principal Financial Officer, Treasurer, Secretary and Director). While attending my niece’s birthday party on 9⁄28 from 2p — 5p, I decided to forego having dinner and a movie at LA Live with my friend and ordered a kale salad«to go» so I could watch the eclipse from my home view. My kale and citrus salad order came to $ 14.12(pricey I might add). When the bill came, I PAID $ 20. I received $ 5.77 back in change(the incorrect amount). I forgot to take my receipt because I was distracted when talking and leaving the table at the same time. Upon returning home, one of my niece’s at the party text me to say the waiter told her that«I did not pay my bill» and that she«spotted me.» I immediately text her back to tell her I have never in my life«forgotten to pay a restaurant bill» and that I had in fact put $ 20 in the bill holder and the waiter gave me my change back! I asked my niece to send me her receipt showing that she paid an additional $ 14.12 and called the restaurant immediately to speak with the manager to tell him that I HADINFACT paid my bill and the waiter was wrong for approaching someone else in the party to pay my bill. They have now double charged for a salad that by the way, is not edible, I will feed it to my pet tortoise. Upon speaking with the manager on the phone, he insisted that no bill appeared in his system other than the bill they presented to my niece to pay for my salad. He asked me for my receipt and I explained to him that I left it in the bill holder that the waitstaff leaves at the table. During our conversation, he kept telling me there was not a ticket made besides the one they charged my niece. I asked the manager, «then how is it that I have change from a $ 20?» I walked into Giggle N’ Hugs with $ 25 in my purse, and walked out with $ 10.77 Somewhere along the way, I spent $ 14 and some change and I only visited this place of business. After stating to the manager that I had two witnesses at the table that SAW me put $ 20 in the check holder, and also received change back, I asked, «Is it possible that one of the wait staff members mixed up my check, or even perhaps pocketed the cash?» I told the manager that their till should come up over unless someone put the money in their pocket. I became very incensed that the manager kept asking for my receipt when for the hundredth time, I told him I left it on the table! And he insisted that there was not a bill for my salad other than the one they rang up for my niece. How could an entire transaction just disappear? Something went wrong, but all I know is I PAID. Paying $ 28 for a salad that was not fit for human consumption is insane(the kale leaves were dry and hard and the salad only had a few mandarin oranges and sprinkles of cranberries — NOT worth $ 14)!!! There was no resolve to my issue. The restaurant should have taken a better approach and NOT approached anyone that was sitting near me to ask them to pay a bill that I had already paid. The error is on the side of the restaurant, not the customer in this case. Why would the waiter go to someone that I was talking to to tell them I did not pay my bill? The order that was placed was between me and the restaurant. No one else is responsible for my meal! Secondly, I DID pay! How else in the hell did I walk in with $ 25 and leave with $ 10.77? I’m not a magician! Third, the food is crummy! Highly disappointed!

This fun indoor playground is amazing … depending on what time you arrive. Come late morning between 11am ish through 2 pm and it is CRAZY(even on a weekday). They seemed short staffed, so the place felt a little chaotic. Didn’t receive my cup of regular coffee until about 30 minutes later. Although, to be fair, the girl in the front remembered my late coffee and gave me a free refill. During peak time,(around 12pm ish), no joke, there were like 30 kids running around, screaming and jumping. I usually don’t mind, but since they allow older kids and young kids to play in the same area, my daughter was being constantly trampled over. I even herd one mom upset because her daughter was thrown off the top of the slide by another big kid. Eeekkk! The various activities the staff organized during play time was fun, like the bubble machine. Food was ok… wasn’t 5 stars. Bathrooms …mehh.

This is a great place if you need to just sit and relax or work while your child plays in the designated area. The food is delicious, though, a little pricey. The staff is always great with the kids. We are in the habit of paying a little bit more to get the month pass which can be used at any of the three locations in L.A. The downside with this location is that there are few if any outlets to plug a phone or computer into.

Location: 5 stars Staff: 5 stars Fun: 5+ stars Place itself: 4 stars We have been here repeatedly, always have lots of fun. We wanted to take a break from the scorching LA heat recently and went here with a neighbor. The location is great, easy parking at the mall, the staff was always to be seen — very helpful when needing more napkins, fork, etc.(with toddlers you need a lot), and our kids had fun here! I wish they would validate parking for us — we ended up hanging around for 3.5 hours! That mall sure does get expensive the longer you stay. The only grievance I have is that sometimes there are kids who aren’t really being supervised by their caregivers and can get a bit rowdy. I was constantly by my son while he was playing, and if I wasn’t near him I was on the side watching him. I just think that whenever you have little babies and 6 – 7⁄11 – 12 year olds all in the same place, it could be a recipe for disaster. My friend’s son accidently ran into an older kid — maybe 7 — and the kid hit him back. I was a bit surprised to witness this, and my friend had to sit down and explain to the kid that her son is just a baby. I wonder where his parents were when this happened? I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but maybe that is the risk/reward you have to weigh out when you go play in these public places.

Location: 5 stars Staff: 5 stars Fun: 5+ stars Place itself: 3 stars I decided to take my kid at this location just to try a new one. It’s located inside Westfield Century Mall which has that upscale vibe. The lady that checked us in was nice and my kid had a great time here. This review is solely for the place. inside the pirate ship there’s an exposed water tubes(I don’t exactly know what kind but it’s there.) and also when my little one was going up the stairs she had to duck because if she didn’t she would’ve hit her head. There’s also a hole on their mat and it’s big enough for a child to trip on. I love giggles n’ hugs but I think this place has to fix those because they could be dangerous for the little ones.

What’s not to like!!! This place serves wine, beer, organic dishes, etc. It’s a perfect cure for your cuts, bruises and scratches that you end up having while hanging out with a bunch of kids. I like that they have interactive games. Game consoles etc. It’s indoors so you don’t need to worry about dripping in sweat. The place is clean. Everything I touch is not sticky or smelly. Thank God for that! I will definitely come back to this place with my goddaughters. I just need to make sure I wear pants next time. Oh they won’t let you in if you don’t wear socks. Also the pants is for your protection. I’ll wear a helmet if I won’t look weird. I didn’t know a huge block of legos can hurt you. They should really change this into a rubber material. Hard plastic is so not fun especially when it hits u and u can’t do anything about it because they’re kids.

Giggles N’ Hugs is a fun place for young kids and a real life saver for parents when you’re trying to feed and entertain your little one(s)! Of course, you can’t set your expectations too high on the food and you should be warned that it is overpriced. But, after all, it is an indoor playground for kids. I appreciate that they at least try to offer options in their menu. The play area is wonderful for young kids, probably up to age 6. It’s really great for them to get some energy out and have fun. They have a good variety and good quantities of toys — perfect to keep the kids entertained for a good couple of hours at least.

Very great concept. Executed well, but not flawlessly. The food/adult area is disproportionately large compared to the play area, but unnecessarily so — there is just too much wasted space. It’s a minor complaint, but somewhat annoying. The staff is excellent — the hosts are great, the in-the-play-area people are firm but friendly, and the food servers are amazing. They have to put up with so much BS, but they continue to smile. Impressive. The play area is a bit cramped, but offers a good selection of slides, large movable objects, and a tiny toddler area. It is very clean and organized. The food is where I have another issue, however. They claim that the food is organic — I highly doubt my 100% frozen pizza was organic; and I’d like to see the validation for the likewise frozen edamame. Don’t get me wrong — having beer and wine for stressed parents is a godsend and separates GnH from the competition, but I really think somebody needs to verify their organic claims. The food just doesn’t taste fresh, and most of the time tastes frozen. But then again — you go to give your kids a good time and they love it.

This place is for toddlers and up. It is located in the Century City Westfield mall but hidden to the West side of the block. The food was pretty good. The panini’s were surprising tasty for a kids place. When we went, there was a little party so I am not sure if it is normally that loud. They had the music blasting which I thought might be too loud for kids. That is the only thing I didn’t like about this place. Staff were friendly and patient. As for coming back here, it is a big IF, unfortunately. There are other places we’ve been to that isn’t as loud.
