I always pass this restaurant on my way to work. I decided to stop in today. I ordered breakfast. I ordered the bacon and egg breakfast. I can honestly say that their meals are overpriced and mediocre at best. I paid $ 10.74, which includes a $ 0.99 charge for using my debit card.

Food was ok. Fries were the best part. The parking area is terrible. Fyi they don’t have sour cream or zucchini. They also charge for refills! O hell no

Food was so bland only item that had flavor was the salt but what compelled me to write a review was the price of the food. Ham & egg sandwich with fries and a drink almost $ 12 buck’s. Oh yeah almost forgot if you do come down and eat there wash your hands before you arrive NORESTROOMS.

I was around the area and had this booked marked. I forgot why until I looked up the photos. And it was because of the breakfast burrito. I love me some breakfast burrito! So I had to order the steak burrito($ 8.26) and bacon burrito($ 6.24). Oh my it was both delicious. I love the way it’s filled with hash brown and eggs. I opt for no salsa cause I just like my burrito dry. Lol the husband steak burrito was mmmmm it had salsa but if I ordered it no salsa for me. The service was great. Made to order food. It wasn’t busy just a few people that looked like regulars. Parking is very small but you can park on the street. There is no driveway. They accept credit cards, cash ATM(surcharge applies).

This place is very clean But the service isn’t too friendly And the burger was disappointing It was semi cold Buns weren’t toasted and the patty tasted like poor quality meat

Breakfast to go spot, super reasonably priced. $ 5 for 3 eggs with toast and hash brown is as good a deal as it sounds. Breakfast burrito was delicious too. Everything from burger to huevos rancheros and steak dinner. Breakfast lunch and dinner, boom. They charge 99c for credit card.

Good food they charge a 99¢ debit credit card charge if you use it. The chicken plate is the best in my opinion about 10 the plate cost. Um if you go around 1300 – 1400 the place is flooded with teenagers so order out take home cause its pack with those little buggers.

Pete’s! I’m a fan of their breakfast burrito! That’s all I’ve had but man it is good! It has the right portion of everything in it! Although, it does take time to make the burrito so be warned because they make everything once you order it. But I usually order the bacon breakfast burrito and the salsa that it comes with is right on point. Not too spicy and just right.

Pretty small, very clean space near USC. Bring cash because they charge you $ 1 to use use debit card… Not worth it when your meal is worth $ 5. Everything is made to order so if there’s people expect to wait.

Such a good burger and fries. Ingredients so fresh! Very quick and the fries were lightly seasoned so they weren’t overwhelming. Patty in my cheeseburger was kind of thin but I can look past it because I loved how crispy and fresh the lettuce and pickles were.

If you live around or near USC, Pete’s Burgers is one place you should try. It is located on 2400 S. Hoover St. It is just one block away from the USC campus. It is open all seven days of the week and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The prices are pretty high, but once you try the food, you’ll know why. The location it is at, makes it seem as if it could be dangerous, but rest assured you are completely safe. One thing I forgot to mention is to be careful when you enter. You are going to have to take a big step to enter, because the restaurant is elevated a bit. I myself have tripped on that countless of times. I went to eat breakfast for the first time at Pete’s today. When my brother and I arrived the inside looked to be extremely full. It usually tends to get full during the weekends. Upon entering I was greeted with a dozen of aromas that mixed well with each other. The smell of the pancakes and French toast caused my hunger to increase. The inside was is air conditioned rather well, so you won’t experience any issues with temperature. The employees there are sub par. I’m not saying there are bad, but they do lack communication skills. They don’t greet you with smiles, they just take your order and payment and move on. I suggest to not use a debit card there, they charge an extra dollar to use the machine. Which in my view is greedy. The restaurant was remodeled a couple months ago. So as far as presentation, it is extremely new and clean. All tables are cleaned right after people leave their table. Everything from the exterior to the interior is remodeled. Lighting is only used when the sun goes down. In the day there is little to no use of light because of the windows that let in the light from the sun. The seats are very cushioned, so you won’t feel any discomfort. The floor is a white tile that is very well mopped. Doors and windows are closed, they are opened only when people enter or leave. The atmosphere is very friendly due to the people who go. It is a place were a lot of families and groups or USC students go. The only noise you hear is the chatter among families and the people there. Nonetheless you will be able to eat your food without any loud noise. Now moving on to the most important part of the restaurant, the food. You can get a meal for 10 dollars or less. Which in my opinion is pretty expensive, but for other might be cheap. When I go my favorite thing to get is the club sandwich which includes turkey ham, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese plus your drink and fries. The club sandwich is 9 bucks, Once I receive the sandwich, I am greeted with the smell of all the ingredients which enhance the taste once I eat it. It has little to no grease and they use salt wisely. If you go for breakfast I highly suggest the French toast. The texture is very soft and fluffy. You get two slices of breads that are topped with a small amount of butter and sprinkled with sugar. One of the tastiest French toasts you will find. Overall I give this place a 5⁄5 stars.

The place offers great food. But now that is has been updated. The prices has increased significantly. Pastrami special with cheese is $ 13.00. I can go to sizzler and get a steak with two sides. I think I will think twice before coming here again. Cheeseburger combo w/o cheese $ 7.00. Are you kidding me!!! They do not offer itemize receipts either. So you can identified if you are being over charged!!! Think about it

Pete’s have pretty good breakfast burritos. The price is also really reasonable. I have tried the ham and eggs burrito, and it is beyond satisfying. Their chicken salad is also pretty descent with big portions. I definitely recommend coming for their breakfast burritos!

The burger was nice and had good flavor. The fries it came with also were hot and crunchy yet they still had the potato flavor untarnished. It was a good amount of food and fries with a drink for $ 10. Most importantly the food was fresh and tasty. My only complaint is that they charged for refills. I understand it is family owned but drinks are very inexpensive and easy to refill, the times for paying a premium for a refill should be over.

I wish I could confirm or deny how good the breakfast burritos are here, but I showed up at the time Unilocal says they open(6am) and the place was dark, locked up and not even close to being open. Disappointing to say the least. Craving denied.:((

This review is for their BREAKFASTBURRITOSONLY. Thank you Pete’s Burgers for literally being one of the few places that serve breakfast burritos after breakfast. I mean, who eats breakfast burritos exclusively for breakfast?! Anyway. I got the breakfast burrito that included bacon, potatoes, egg, and cheese. –PRICE: $ 6 – 7 and extremely reasonable. I think it costs more if you add cheese, but ADDTHECHEESE. Portions are hefty. They’re not exactly gigantic but not small either — I think the size was perfect and was able to stuff the whole thing into my stomach. –FOOD: It could’ve had a tad more flavor, in terms of salsa, but I had hot sauce handy so it was okay. Overall, not overly greasy, not overly salty(but apparently the sausage one is salty), fluffy eggs, perfectly cooked potatoes, and well-distributed ingredients. I didn’t have to strategize my bites like I usually have to do for giant burritos. On top of that, the burrito was very tightly wrapped so that everything stayed in place even when I put my burrito down! Thank you Pete’s for making my life easier. –SERVICE: Nice people at the cashier. Food took 10 – 15 minutes to come out. –PARKING: Small but convenient lot next to the place! This place did a great job with satisfying my breakfast burrito craving. It’s not exactly a special breakfast burrito that particularly stands out, but I really did appreciate the wrapping, the distribution of the ingredients, and that it wasn’t overly greasy! If you want a BASIC breakfast burrito that will hit the spot, definitely try this place out!
