If your want some good ceviche this is place makes some delicious ceviche. We order the shrimp & mixta ceviche. Both where delicious but I believe the mixta was a little better. The dishes where prepared so nicely. Everything tasted so fresh. I was a little doubtful when I walk in but was very satisfied with there dishes.

This place is an absolute Hidden gem. It’s so nice to have such fresh quality ceviche at a local location. If you ever thought about trying it here, stop thinking and go.

Great place and prices! The people there are very nice. I have been going there since it opened and I can truly say that I’ve never had a negative experience. Once they messed up my order but I really didn’t mind because of the way it was handled. They apologized and fix it with no attitude or negative feedback. The ceviche is always fresh and with generous portions.

Okay so I find myself in Montebello driving and very hungry when I stumbled upon this Marisco fast food place specializing in Tostadas and Cocteles. As I studied their menu I noticed they have a variety of different Ceviches to sooth your taste buds. You will find your everyday Fish Ceviche to their most popular Mixta Tostadas. They also have Cocteles and Oysters on a half shell. Well after some thought, I went for the «Vuelve a la Vida» Coctele and well it was the BEST I have ever tried north of the Mexican border. Hands down I will be stopping by again when I find myself in this neighborhood. I recommend it… the guys behind the counter were very receptive and even offered me samples prior to me deciding on what to order.

Got referred to this place by a friend and boy I’m glad he recommended this place. The food is fresh and the portions are big and food is super tasty. I usually order the mixta tostada that includes fish ceviche, whole shrimp and octopus. I decline the extra onions and tomatoes that usually top it but that’s just my preference. The owner is super cool and very accommodating, real nice staff and quick service. You definitely get a great bang for you buck here.

The only time I’ve had a fish cevichebefore, was from Vallarta’s (supermarket), and it was HORRIBLE. Seeing this place, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Fortunately, this place did not disappoint! We ordered the ceviche de camaron (shrimp) tostada, and a ceviche mixto (shrimp and fish mix) tostada and both were very good! Neither of the ceviches tasted fishy at all and when paired with tapatio, it tastes even better. T For the price, they sure didn’t skimp on the portions, each order came with avocado and more lime as well.
My only criticism is that I wish they didn’t chop the shrimp ceviche so finely, perhaps in bigger chunks would be a bit better? Also there was a small fish section where you could by fresh fish and fillets, there were not much options, just tilapia (or swai?) fillets, whole catfish and whole tilapia. The whole catfish was in a container, sitting in a shallow pool of its own bloody water which made it look not so fresh, perhaps on ice would be a better view. But don’t let that stop you from coming to try this cevicheria, this place really is good and worth coming to :)

Shrimp Ceviche is so delicious! One of the best around. They give you plenty of tostadas, lemons, Tapatio and avocado. Ceviche is diced finely and with lots of flavor. Some places put too much onion and it overpowers the ceviche. Not here! There is plenty of shrimp! Girls at the counter were super friendly and helpful! I will be back soon.

It was my first time here and I am so happy I came! My mom loves this place and urged me to go try it. The prices are affordable and the staff is super friendly! We ordered the fish, shrimp, and imitation crab ceviche and all were delicious. I also got the oyster that were hooked up with shrimp and octopus! Loved it! I’m surprised this doesn’t have more reviews and that it wasn’t crowded on a Sunday afternoon!

I tried the shrimp tostada ceviche and it was delicious, they are generous with the shrimp and if you eat in they have unlimited tostadas available. The service was great and they serve your quickly. Lunch line was long, come before 12 on a hot day.

I was looking for a new spot to try out for dinner and found this place. It is definitely not in our neck of the woods but the BF loves ceviche so we decided to check them out. The cashier was very nice and asked if it was our first time there. She let us try a couple of their ceviches. We decided on the ceviche de camaron ($ 3.50), tostada mixta ($ 7.50 super), and ostiones preparados (oysters-​$ 8.50/half dz.). The seafood was fresh and flavorful. We didn’t care too much for the oysters though. We arrived around 7:15pm and they were getting ready to close. Service was great and they didn’t rush us.
The tostada Mixta is piled high with Shrimp Ceviche, Fish ceviche, Cooked shrimp, Octopus, Abalone, Scallop, Immitation Crab and avocado. A bag of Tostadas at each table along w some hot sauce. Order at the counter and seat yourself.
Update: I called on a Sunday to place a party tray about an hour before I needed it and they were able to accommodate me. I ordered the ceviche de camaron ($ 40) and it was a hit. Everyone at the bbq loved it and asked where it was from.

Really fresh seafood, I had aguachiles, shrimp tostada and my hubby the campechana. It was delishh.

Very happy I came across this cute little place. I had an aguachile tostada & it was just perfect! Other places make it so hot you can’t even enjoy eating it, but it had the right amount of chile lol not too hot. I also had a shrimp cocktail & it was seasoned just right not like other places that make it flavorless. I only added Tapatio since I love spicy food & a little bit of lime. If they would add cucumbers then it would be perfect! In addition to the previous items I also had a ceviche de camaron tostada & that was perfect! The portions were very generous. I will definitely be coming back here to get my seafood fix.

The shrimp ceviche and Tostada mixta was good. The fish pieces in mixed ceviche is chopped too small.

I came here with coworkers for lunch on a Friday. I got the mixta and pescado because I was really hungry and the mixta came with a soda. When I received my food, the mixta was piled sky high! I was able to finish both, but the mixta would have just been fine. They have many different hot sauces on the table to accommodate your taste buds. They have one that’s really good that keep in the fridge, so be sure to ask for it. If you do choose to use it, use it with caution. The spice is a creeper like just tequila. You’ll feel nothing at first and then BAM, you’ll be sucking in for air to cool down. They have daily specials outside on the front window on the right, so be sure to check that out.

Get the mixta super sized. 7.50 for a mountain of mixed seafood steeped in delicious lime, onions, tomatoes, cilantro… add some tapatio and it’s magic.
They have shrimp, fish, crab, octopus, and abalone. There are bags of tostada chips and hot sauce placed on each table, you order at the counter and seat your self.
This place is the epitome of a friendly family owned establishment. I love me some ceviche and even though the location is not exactly close to my house I don’t mind making the trek there.
If it WAS close to my house i’d probably go there at least once a week.

Ok I’ll be extremely brief people you want good fresh mariscos at a great price than look no further than this hidden gem tucked away in south side of Montebello! Friendly staff I would imagine they’re family run. Extremely accommodating if you want to try something just ask. I said it was my first time and they let me try just about everything! Ok so let’s get to it great ceviche needs a little more seasoning, and great Agua Chile me and my girlfriend ate good for just $ 10. I do wanna explore the menu more, but for now I’ll chalk this up as a successful first visit. Keep up the great work guys!

Seriously this place was a godsend! There are really no good seafood places in Montebello! I came across this place when I went to the Mongolian bbq place next door and I love seafood! And I LOVE aguachiles! This place is super affordable, I mean $ 3.25 for an aguachile tostada that’s packed with shrimp! SCORE! It’s really good too not too spicy but just enough. Definitely going to be my go to for aguachiles

Best sea food in town the ceviche is like no other. I will definitely recommend it. Can’t wait to try all their menu.
