Finally, a gallery that says they show emerging artists (but the previous show’s artist had a seven year resume and the next has been active since the 80’s). Does emerging artist now mean you’ve only had solo shows in the last three years? From mixed media to photography, The work really varies here. The paintings are big on gesture though. Javier Peres also has a space in Berlin.
The upcoming show looks scary. Its about zombies! I like that they still have performance. I’m disappointed that I already have a conflict that keeps me from attending Bruce LaBruce’s opening next month. This gallery moved from Chinatown.
