Bruce Lurie is a liar when he states he gave Jean-Michel Baquiat a show! His brothers Craig and Scott Lurie are the biggest frauds, sexual offenders and scumbags in the LA art Scene! I have been to their galleries openings over the years, and have witnessed a terrible incident with a woman against Scott Lurie that I will never forget! Scott nearly hit the woman in public for confronting him and needed to be restrained by patrons! In addition, Bruce has had a reputation of a Rapist for a longtime both here in America and abroad in Europe! Every gallery the Lurie Brothers have owned and operated have claimed bankruptcy and artists have either never been paid for their works sold through them or have lost their artworks in the hands of those scumbags! Most of their artwork are rip offs and copies of other more well known painters! As an Art Critic, I have written scathing reviews exposing their con artistry and have been approached by their former artists with their horror stories and recounted their experiences in an article that we called«the infamously criminal Lurie Brothers». Los Angeles is home to many predators, con men and criminals posing as «good guys» and«businessmen». Their brother Evan Lurie was caught in a couple of scandals in Carmel, Indiana and lost his reputation in the process. Going to their gallery and buying art from them isn’t supporting the arts but are rather supporting the lifestyles of con-men posing as art dealers!

Excited to know they recently acquired the artwork of amazing pop artist Nelson De La Nuez. Saw artwork recently there and then it sold pretty fast, but I can’t wait for upcoming shows. Big De La Nuez fan and now Lurie Gallery fan

The best gallery I have seen to date in west LA. The art was amazing. The Dinosauria exhibit was perfect for me, and I loved all of the art. Right up my alley, with influences of street art, graffiti, and pop art. We visited this as part of Unilocal passport to Culver City, and had a great time. Best gallery by far. Only wish I could afford the 50k main centerpiece. I loved it.

Visited the Bruce Lurie Gallery on Oct. 18th as part of Unilocal’s Passport to Culver City Art Walk. Viewed works from the Dinosauria exhibit by Kyle William Harper and Michael Wale. Nice gallery and staff.
