Meat quality is good. A bit over priced. But pretty good. Parking is validated. Lunch specials are pretty good. Pretty busy so avoid lunch and dinner hours. Takes a little but to get seated but it’s ok.

I recommend coming here for the Galbi Tang, it has to be one of the best in Ktown honestly. The bbq is pretty popular also, however it is a bit pricey especially for the quality of meat IMO. I will forever come back for the Galbi Tang, but I choose to do my Bbq’n somewhere else lol…

We called and they told us no reservations but when we arrived there was a reservation list, which was annoying. We probably waited 45 minutes and they even crossed our name off even though we hadn’t been seated, which I thankfully caught and pointed out to them. Once we finally did sit, it was well worth the wait. The food came out quickly and was delicious and they work as a team to make sure the food is being cooked and everyone was happy. I didn’t like the wait but overall a very good experience.

Delicious Korean BBQ in no other than, K-Town. //PARKING //Small paid lot. //SERVICE //Decent, although ban chan refills can take some time depending on how busy they are. //FOOD // + Kalbi: Must get. It is large authentic slabs! I Use to think that Kalbi had those little bones we are accustomed to, but apparently this is the real deal. Melt in your mouth.

It’s been an extremely long time since I’ve been to Park’s. And I’m talking something like 6 or 7 years… it really has been THAT long. When you find the best Korean BBQ in the city in Soowon Galbi, there’s really no reason to divert from the default plan. With all that said, it was time to give Park’s another shot since I’ve been to a few other top level spots in L.A. and I need to figure out the KBBQ L.A. rankings! Some notes: 1. From a meat quality perspective, it’s about what I would’ve expected from a top-tier Korean BBQ restaurant in L.A. Solid marinated galbi and pork belly, but not spectacular. Clearly one tier under Soowon and Genwa. 2. Salad game was fairly weak. No leafy greens or green onion salad. Instead we have cabbage? Disappointing. 3. Service was hit or miss for us. Sometimes they would be pretty quick, other times we would have to make our requests multiple times to get what we needed(more banchan, refilled water). Expected better considering this is one of the better KBBQ restaurants in L.A. 4. The restuarant itself is very clean as I was expecting. Ventilation is ok… you’ll still walk out with the stench of Korean BBQ on you, but not THAT bad. Overall, I did enjoy my return experience to Park’s and left with a full belly. No question though that Park’s is not on the level of Soowon or Genwa. Don’t take that the wrong way though, Park’s is still one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in L.A. Just not THE best.

You really have to get on my nerves to get a bad review from me. This place was okay a decade ago, but come on you have to keep up with the other amazing BBQ places opening up around you. So disappointed with my experience here, the flavors of the meat and food has no depth. They add tons of sugar and MSG so they can cover up their mediocre dishes. Don’t ever get the soy bean paste stew here, it’s extra salty and probably the worst one I’ve had up until this day. Besides the gross food, the service was worse. The waitress/waiter serving us literally threw the meat on the grill, splashing meat juice on my moms shirt. And they were rushing everything, so we felt very uncomfortable. The service was rude, presentation was horrible, food was mediocre, quality was poor and price is high. Complete garbage. Instead of Parks try: –Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong –Soowon Galbi KBBQ –Quarters Korean BBQ –Ahgassi Gopchang –Eight Korean BBQ(pork) –Anywhere else in Ktown xx

No more spicy brisket kal gook soo much to my dismay!!! Seriously, it was the best thing, but the waitress said it just wasn’t worth it for them anymore. The meat is still bomb. I tried yang gui for the first time, which I thought was sheep this whole time because in Korean yang means sheep, but it was actually some part of the beef intestine. Anyways, the quality was really really good and tasty because it’s not marinated. The quality of meats are obviously a lot better than AYCE places. Their steamed egg seems to use shrimp juice which makes it better. Overall, still good, still going strong!

THEBEST Korean BBQ I’ve ever had in my entire life. It’s a must every time I venture down to LA. Parking is difficult and while choices are abundant in Koreatown, I will only settle for Parks. The walls are adorned with photos of celebrities(American and Korean) who have visited the restaurant. Service is impeccable: they cook the meat perfectly in front of you and serve as much banchan as you want! My favorite banchan: the fish cakes! My favorite things to order: stone-pot rice, bulgogi, beef tongue, and brisket

Damn, this was a K-town experience par excellence. Even though I grew up in LA I am still fascinated with the K-town scene and always crave a visit when back in LA. The trouble is there are so many many place one doesn’t really know where to start. Well, this is a good place. You won’t be alone though as there will be a wait on popular nights. But distress not, there is a «holding cell» upstairs where you can nurse beer and study the menu.(And if you don’t want to cook at your table, they’ll even serve you food here too.) And once the wait is over.) We ordered the P1 combo, with the beef short rib, galbi, Park’s galbi and the standard bulgogi. They cooked all the food for us and it was perfect for a group of 4. We complimented with tofu stew and spicy black cod. Free flowing Hite beer toped off the evening and left us very happy. I hope to come back someday and maybe see some of the famous people on the wall dining there too. PS, be sure to wear clothes that clean easily as your will be quite aromatic when you leave this place.

I’ve never had the actual bbq here(bc lets be real i can’t afford it) but their naeng myun and galbitang is BOMBBBBBB!!! I’ve came here twice and got these dishes plus their steamed egg and kimchi pancake and have always left soooo satisfied. portions are HUGE(like literally the pancake was bigger than my face and my face is giganto) and sooooooo tasty. their banchan is also so high quality and on point! I would come for just the banchan alone if i could… WIsh i didn’t have work so I could come and get their lunch specials bc they are AMAZING deals.

Seriously bomb Korean bbque. Been here a few times, drunk and sober, each time was great. The meat is of good quality, which is really important for someone like me who loves steak. Galbi and rib eye was the best. The rib eye melts in your mouth. The shrimp though was eh, so so. Skip out on that. If you don’t mind your hair smelling like bbque smell after, then this is a must for good Korean bbque.

This meal was delicious. Our table of 3 ordered: — Galbi — Bulgogi — Kimchi Pancake These were all great decisions. Amongst 3 people, it was plenty of food. There was enough to take home for leftovers. The Galbi was the standout dish. Amazing meat quality and a marinade that was not too sodium loaded. The Bulgogi lunch set is a great option, if you are eating lunch by yourself or with friends who don’t want to share. The set comes with a couple of soups, rice, sides, and the bulgogi. The Kimchi Pancake is a very Korean option, if you are interested in exploring new flavors. It is basically egg with Kimchi. There is also the option for seafood pancake, which is even more Korean. I will definitely try this next time. If you are mindful of what you order, you should be able to order enough food for the table at $ 25 or less. Enjoy!

When you think of great Korean food in LA, Parks is the best place to go! They have an amazing array of meats and banchan. The service is also pretty good. Highly recommend the short ribs, brisket, and bulgogi! the seafood pancake is served on a skillet and is thinner than most places. I wish it was a bit thicker to really get that eggy flavor. The kimchi stew is also really tasty. They forgot to add the rice cakes last time to my stew and the manager came over and repeatedly apologized for their mistake. Really great customer service. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the ventilation of the restaurant could be improved. It doesn’t seem to provide strong enough suction so all the fumes go straight to you. Other than that, 5 star food and service!

Ok so after 6 years in LA I’ve finally tried the KBBQ everyone raves about and I must say I’ve been missing out. So after a meeting, one of my families invited me to dinner here. I said«yeah I still have not tried it» they said, «let’s go» We get there in afternoon and didn’t wait over 5 minutes.(I hear they get busy) We order a lot of galbi. AREYOUSERIOUS?! I put it in my mouth and chewed. WOW. I’m telling you if Jennifer Lopez was naked in front of me I would keep eating.(But I’d handcuff her to seat beside me until I was done) The meat quality was a-mazing! There were so many sides. I found some I really like. If only I could remember the names of it. The family treated me and we didn’t leave until I was stuffed. They did mention that it was pretty pricey, but top quality. I am in a bad place because I’m spoiled now. You set the bar really high. Where else can I go after this… no where. Thanks for taking my money in the future.

Parks BBQ is bustling day and night with good reason. For dinner, Parks serves quality kbbq at exorbitant prices, but the lunch crowd gets an awesome deal Monday to Friday. The $ 6.99 short rib soup is one of the best in ktown although I prefer the one at OoKook without ricecake but the price here is a steal! The weekday $ 9.99 lunch special is a feast with rice, fried fish, steamed egg, assorted veggie side dishes, soybean soup, and a great portion of galbi short ribs.

Oooookayyyyyy. Gotta update my review after returning for my birthday. This place’s pros are that it offers very high quality meat, they are good with respecting reservation times and you have a server cook your meat for you. With that being said, service needs help. I had to keep asking for sides and water, which was a pain. I am not paying a premium for KBBQ to be tucked away and forgotten. Other kbbq joints are literally a fraction of the cost, which at first I thought was acceptable given that the meat quality is so much better, but where the hell are my banchan refills for $ 50+ a person? On top of that, the half-orders of nengmyun we ordered after the meal were a disaster. They tasted like they’d come straight from some packet in the refrigerator aisle of the supermarket. The noodles were all clumped together too. Come here for the seafood scallion pancake and the meat but the service is just ok and the nengmyun is no bueno. Not a must-visit anymore in my opinion.

Stopped by for lunch. No lunch specials on a Saturday and BBQ prices were beyond what two people wanting a meal of variety were willing to lay out so we went with the naengmyeon noodles and stone pot fried rice. For a first visit to Koreatown this was definitely a good find! The first time in a long time in Cali that I’ve had Korean food that’s actually tasted like what I’ve eaten on the streets of Seoul! The banchan was delicious! None of that cheap crap(macaroni salad, salad, etc.) so common at other establishments but good kimchi, jap chae, sprouts, fish balls and other elements. Still pretty tame compared to Korea but a world above what I’m otherwise used to on this side of the Pacific. The naengmyeon was delicious. A cool refreshing dish that paired well with the spicy mustard and vinegar. The dolsot bibimbap(with kimchi as the optional ingredient) was the highlight of the meal. Once mixed together the various ingredients blended together beautifully with a tart fermented flavor mixed with the hot and at times crunch rice, the greens, and other fabulous components. If I’m ever back in K-town I’ll definitely be returning!

7pm on a Saturday night… we called Kang Ho Dong and the wait was over 2 hrs and Quarters did not even pick up. I called Park’s BBQ and they said 45 minute wait, so we headed over quickly. If you are lucky, you can score a parking spot out on Vermont but if not, there is a lot with valet. The wait was about 30 minutes(which is not bad at all for KBBQ on a Saturday evening). We ordered the unmarinated galbi and the seasoned pork belly(minimum 1 order per person). Both were very good. The waitstaff cook and cut the meat for you and the quality was on par with Kang Ho Dong and Quarters but the restaurant has more of a family vibe to it. I docked 1 star because they were out of rice paper! What KBBQ place runs out of essentials like rice paper? Also, the original ban chan dishes that came out didn’t include kimchi. Overall, Park’s was a great experience and I would definitely come again.
