This place tastes good. Good quality meat, plenty of side dishes, and abundant spacing.

Impressed as we entered, nice ambiance nice dressed waiters. As soon as we sat, things went downhill… except kalbi everything else, meh… espically soondae was mushy/no flavor. Appetizers, asado came out after our main meal(salty). Ambiance, couldnt enjoy due to tall bench seats, felt as if we were in a room of our own. Expensive which i dont mind if it meets the expectations. To top it off, the owner disappointed us by the way he represented himself(golf attire).

Their meat is good and always top notch. Tried their Asado which they were known for and wasn’t disappointed in their quality of choice would love to try some of their other items on the menu but I don’t eat much . Wine. One things for sure their wine selections are great ! Even the cheapest wine on menu pairs great with their meat. Most of their wine is from Argentina so it wasn’t so bad. Over all rating is a 5 from me.

Not a bad groupon place. Tried the family combo. Good variety of pork and beef. Lots of Korean starter dishes(veggies, bean sprouts, kimchi, pancake, seaweed salad, cabbage salad). No rice paper. Go tofu soup. Meat cuts were flavorful and not too fatty

AVOIDTHISPLACE! Horrible place! It is way overpriced and the food there doesn’t worth a penny. For $ 30 you will get only 8 middle to small size shrimps and 3 slices of the same mushroom. If you will get lucky you will get your drinks served 20 minutes after you have ordered them. We brought our family for the first time here to try the Korean bbq. Our intentions were to have friendly casual environment to feed and reunite our family. We have regretted every second of it. We have spent more than $ 250 for 5 people and all left disrespected and hungry(this includes only 1 bottle of bear). The best advice I can give you is to go to a different place just down the street. Avoid this place if you are a normal descent person. Do NOT bring your family here.

Trying out new resturant in K-town. Very clean and very moody. Good place for dating since they have good choices of wine. Unfortunately, I am not a wine lover. I have tried there signature meal– Argentina asado. It takes 45 minutes for cooking. The wait was not worth it. Visual of asado was fantastic but taste was not as good as it looks. Meat wasn’t tender. Seems like I was chewing rubber. Servers should pay more attention to the customers. I had to keep calling them for more water and water since they give the water in small cup. I suggest they leave small pitcher for every customer. I also ordered kimchi stone rice which was ok.

Buttery and delicious Asado is a must have here! It’s currently $ 20 for one Asado Argentinean meat during the grand opening promotion. The waiter said they opened the restaurant this month on April 2016. I’m definitely going back. My husband purchased the groupon deal ahead of time to come here. Thank you baby! But remember!!! If you want to try the Asado you MUST order at least one hour in advance. It’s slow cooked meat so it will take that long if you dine in and order. Due to the quality of this meat I don’t think they have it cooked ahead. Which is kinda inconvenient because you have to wait an hour if you just decide to walk in to try this meat. But I won’t complaint because we called the restaurant ahead to have this meat prepped and was able to enjoy it after 15 – 20 mins after we were seated. We also ordered cold Korean Hite beer, combination meal for 2 – 3 people serving(price $ 75) comes with three kinds of meats, cchique which is Korean brown bean paste soup or kimchi soup with norungi hot rice soup. This comes with every meal– a lot of small Korean side dishes, you can ask for more no charge. Again good quality meat. This is NOT all you can eat meat place. Our bill came out less than $ 17 for 3 people for dinner after Groupon deal. =) Awesomeeeee! Clean, friendly, & good. Valet only or street parking.

Second time coming here and enjoyed it both times. Modern décor and a friendly wait staff. Food was on point. Party of 8. We had 3 orders of asado, 2 rib eyes, 2 order of the pork belly, some sausages, with 3 bottles of wine and capped with soju and beer. I left before they served the soups, so I cannot speak to how that taste. Left full and happy. I don’t understand why people complain about the price. We paid around $ 55 a head for high quality meat and unlimited chimichurri sauce. I put that sh*t on everything. I’m compelled to write this review because it was fairly empty for a Saturday night. I hope people start coming here so that this restaurant sticks around. I’m definitely going back.

This place has been bookmarked since it opened. All I got to say is that I’ve been missing out! It’s in a strip mall with a new fried chicken joint and a sprint store. But once you step inside, you feel transformed. Don’t let the outside fool ya. This is such a wonderful date spot, bday celebration type of places… or simply you just want to treat yo fine self to a nice dinner. The music fits the ambiance and it’s just dark enough that it feels cozy. My group of 4 ordered the combo and a plywood Asado & chorizo. I highly recommend the Asado. It was probably my favorite dish. Did I mention how AMAZING the service is? The servers tag team to make sure we are taken care of like VIP’s. I will be back!

Only Argentinian and Korean BBQ combination restaraunt in Koreatown. Korean meats are all prime and of the highest quality. Service is exremely good on the slower days. Like all korean bbq restaurants, service will not be the best when the place is packed. They also have combo menus for the korean bbq. The Business combo is the best combo. Best value and size. Their deungshim, prime rib is the thickest prime rib i have ever seen. Good ambience and dope music. They do valet parking and theres Anko next door for some desert.

Ambiance is really nice here. Food in the other hand was just okay. Skirt steak was probably the best but it takes about an hour for them to cook it. The Asado also takes about an hour too. Asado is kinda tough to eat and didn’t taste good. Muscles are terrible. Cheese plate was terrible. I honestly wouldn’t go back unless they changed owners

Ordered the Brisket which was decent and the Boneless Short Rib(ggot sal). Even though the ggot sal was cooked to a nice medium plus, the meat was dry and lacked flavor. Aside from the pico de gallo and chimichurri sauce, the side dishes are quite boring and minimal. Good thing I had the Unilocal deal because I was not impressed…

A friend had recommended this place so I took the inlaws here for dinner. Relatively new, it was clean and had a nice ambiance and atmosphere. You can also see the Hoolio cooking asado on the grill. We ordered the asado which was just ok but the chimichuri sauce made up for it. However, the flower meat and non marinated karbi were a pure disappointment. My mother inlaw started capping on the meat saying that how can meat this expensive be so tough?!? We sat in a room since we had a big party and it was so hard to flag down the waitresses. Amateurs I say. This is the kind of restaurant you try once and never go back. If you enjoy nice ambiance and not the quality of food, then this is the place for you. I’m not listening to my friend anymore!

Yay! I’m a fan! I was being recommended to Ombu Grill by my coworkers, so I decided to give it a try. We walked in on a Saturday night around 7PM. It wasn’t that packed at all. We were seated right away. My boyfriend and I both thought it was kind of dark, but I stopped complaining as soon as the food began to come out. For two, we ordered one order of Pork Belly, one order of Asado, and Chorizo. Make sure to order Asado first as soon as you walk in. It takes a lot longer to cook. I really wish Ombu had a combination on their menu, because you have to order one dish each and they are pretty darn pricy. I really enjoyed their pork belly. It was thick, juicy, and succulent. Chorizo was okay. Their side dishes were all on the salty side. But kimchi’s were all delicious! Side salad is good as well. I will be coming back to try other meat. I do recommend this place for a date night.

Don’t hurt your wallet and your heart! Omg what a disappointing! I’ve been here before with my kids and it was when they had a special coupon and free Asado. The prime beef rib eye was excellent as it reminded me of bbq at camping! The meat was juicy and tender and the service was fantastic! I was going to come back with all of my friends but first I came back with my husband. Well this time all of the special was finished, with bit of disappointment, but I totally understand as I am also a restaurant owner. I ordered the exactly same as last time. The chadol which thin slices of beef was a ok nothing special. Second we were served with a prime beef rib eye the best in town I’ve ever tasted! However, it was dry with a dull taste when was cooked. How did the beautiful and picture perfect beef turned into a dry, no flavored meat? I was getting upset so I called the manager. He came and said what inexperienced server could have done and was sorry. But worse yet he offered a stew or a rice bowl to make up. Came to find out they charge separately! Hello, are you serious? When my husband said he didn’t want any of his offer since he was unhappy with the meat he just said sorry and left! I was embarrassed. No wonder the restaurant was only filled with few tables! It has changed so much in just one month. I was in some relief not having my friends over. I don’t want to imagine what could happen than!!! I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know. If you go to any of Korean bbq all you can it restaurant, you can have a better tasted prime beef steak and lots more and pay 24 or some dollars not 40 some dollars per an order! The total we paid was $ 95ish for two with 2 orders of beef and one soju and one beer. I was very unhappy and felt terrible!

Great concept… poor execution. The idea of my two favourite cuisines combined really gave me high hopes to what could have been potentially my favourite restaurant. As a recently opened restaurant I am going to give the satisfactory service the opportunity to smooth out and provide better and more courteous service. But, small details like the manager or owner not greeting properly when entering the restaurant, lack of attention to detail when serving wine, and lack of response from the servers is not at a standard of a restaurant of this characteristics. The ambiance is nicely decorated with dark tones and smooth pleasant modern music playing in the background. The food is the area this restaurant could definitely use improvement. Having eaten at different argentinean parrillas and churrascarias the parrillada items on the menu left a lot to desire. The asado cut is a lean cut, but the asador makes the asado past well done, loosing its flavour and texture. The entraña was satisfactory but could use some more salt and the meat was also past well done, also the portion size of the entraña is minute compared to the 28 dollar hefty price. The chorizo, morcilla and molleja was good and tasty. I would recommend better training of the asador or replacing with a better asador. The korean food is an improvement compared to the Argentinean food. The banchan is comparable to other korean bbq restaurants. The meat cuts are fresh and well seasoned. The grill is efficient and well ventilated. Servings are a bit on the small side compared to its price. The prices are expensive when compared to the quality of the restaurant. I would rather separate my favourite cuisines and go to M grill for my churrascaria cravings and go to Parks, Chosun, or quarters for my korean cravings. As a lover of the concept I truly hope I can revisit this restaurant and see improvements in my experience.

Came here on a Saturday night around 8pm and got seated right away. Service was outstanding and the food was divine! We ordered the marinated kalbi, asado, and the spicy cold noodle. The meats were super juicy, flavorful and tender(even after heating it up the next day). All of their complimentary side dishes were amazing as well. My favorite side dishes were probably the kimchi pancake(try putting it on the grill to make it extra crispy) and the potato salad. This restaurant is a bit pricey but worth every penny! We purchased the Unilocal deal beforehand($ 25 for $ 50) so it was practically a steal. Ambience here is trendy with a modern décor. I liked how their ventilation system sucks from beneath the grill which prevented us from smelling too much like bbq afterwards. Can’t wait to take all my friends and family here! Will definitely be back again soon.

Good ambiance, good service and OK food. Staffs seems to be still in training. Menu has wines with wrong vintage year. You just cannot do that with wine!!! The wine that I ordered was 2011 Trapiche but rather they brought 2013. They said it was a typo on the menu. Jjigue(soft tofu stew) has no flavor. ZEROFLAVOR. Lets not even talk about Argentian food. The server cannot even pronnounce the name of their own dish… molleja!!! No moleja!!! So much potential but it was very disappointing… i applaud for the attempt.
