Just left Noodle World. Hadn’t eaten all day and wanted something kinda light(Plus it’s cold and windy.) I’ve been meaning to try this place, so today was the day! The place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered Chicken Tom Kah and Pad See You Chicken, to go. I liked the way they packaged the soup. The broth was in one container, the chicken, noodles, etc. were in another. There was a lot of chicken and it was very tender. After I assembled everything, I have to say this was one of, if not the best, soup I’ve ever had! The only problem is that everyone else in the house thought so too, so I was forced to share. The Pad See You Chicken was just ok. Not much flavor. I wish I had of ordered two soups. All things considered, I will definitely be back to get more soup and to try the Drunken Noodles.

When this location first opened up they used high quality meat such as white chicken and tender steaks. Then once they started getting busy they changed their meats to cheap fatty meats, which is such a bummer cause I use to like this place.

My parents and I decided to grab dinner here on our last night in LA. My mom got one of the veggie rice dishes, my dad got the bbq pork wonton soup, and I got the beef tom yum ramen. Overall, this place was okay. If you just want some form of noodles, this place is great. If you’re looking for really good noodles, you might not find it here. My dish was okay, but the broth didn’t seem particularly flavorful– just some spice and very little else. There are definitely better places to get noodles in LA.

I rarely give out 5-stars but this place was GREAT. Close to my home and work, so that was a bonus. First time here, they were nice and patient as well as recommending what foods to get for my wife and I. –Parking is free in the back, or if you can find street parking in front is also nice. –Prices were average for Westchester area. –HUGE portions. I felt I got my money’s worth with quality and quantity of the food. I definitely want to come back and try everything on the menu.

I love soup. I love noodles. Put the two together, and I’m a happy camper. The quality is decent. Portion sizes are fine. Customer service is adequate. No table service. Order your food, find a table and wait for your order to be delivered. Self service beverage station. It’s like a fast food feel for me. It’s convenient for me when I’m in a hurry and it’s also close to home. Lots of parking in back and credit/debit cards are accepted. Pretty big menu item list. It’s definitely not gourmet but it’s fine for what it is.

The food here is nothing special, but it’s quick and the price is reasonable. The serving size is fairly generous, especially the rice dishes. Service is quick and courteous, Luke is always helpful. If you need a hot bowl of soup or some great noodles you can do worse than Noodle World. P. S. To some of the other reviewers on here, I am not a microbiologist or doctor but I am pretty sure you don’t get food poisoning within half an hour of consumption unless you are eating raw sewage.

I’ve been sick with food poisoning for 4 days after having lunch here to celebrate a co-worker’s last day before retirement. I’ve suffered with nausea(tried my best not to vomit), vomiting(to the point of dry heaving), severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, headache and ultimately dehydration because I haven’t been able to keep much down. I received medical care and was given antibiotics to treat food poisoning. When I informed the manager(Patty) about the food poisoning several hours after my symptoms worsened, she tried to suggest my illness was unrelated to the food at the restaurant and I clarified to her that I was not sick until after I ate the dish I ordered, Pad See You Chicken, item 21 on the menu. I only ate a little bit because my stomach started feeling sick. I was nauseous when I walked out of the restaurant. I had to leave work early because I felt so awful and on my way home I ended up pulling over on the busy freeway to vomit, which occurred within 2 hours of leaving the restaurant. Now I’m dehydrated, feel very run down and will miss more time from work. This has been a nightmare holiday weekend not to mention ruining my holiday plans. I’ve filed a complaint with the California Dept of Public Health against the restaurant. No one should have to endure the misery of food poisoning from this restaurant again. I’ve noticed another food poisoning complaint against them here on Unilocal too. I don’t think I will eat Asian food or chicken again.

Decided for a big bowl of PHO, so I went to Noodle world in Westchester. I ordered the combination beef PHO and the crispy egg noodles. It was delicious, place was clean and service was friendly and courteous. Can’t wait to try something else next time.

Ordered Pad Thai here, and was very good. The concept is pretty amazing. Any kind of noodle dish you can think of is there for you to order! The condiments section has Schiracha– CHECK!!! Only two down side is that they use MSG and the food all comes in plastic, even the soup noodles.

Had a huge craving for Udon, and since this was the only place they had it around my area, I must say, it was bad. I ended up getting food poisoning from this place. My family loves to eat here but I always pass.

Chinese wonton soup makes me happy. When I was young, my mom used to feed me homemade wonton soup. She would actually mix the ground meat(pork and beef with scallion) and wrap it up into store bought wonton skins by hand! Then cook it into a soup with Chinese noodles. So now, whenever I feel a little sick, I look for wonton soup or something similar to make me feel better. Noodle World Jr recently opened here over the summer, which gave me exactly what I wanted. For $ 8.95, there are several choices of Asian soup styles from wonton to phở and ramen. Unfortunately, they don’t offer beef noodle soup which is probably my favorite kind of Chinese soup. If you don’t want soup, they also have fried noodle dishes and Thai noodle dishes. Such a great idea! You can bring a group of friends if you feel like noodles and you’re not limited to just pad Thai or Vietnamese or drunk lo mein noodles. You can have different kinds of noodle dishes from different Asian styles. Clean tables with plenty of siracha, chili sauce, and chopped jalapenos on the side. Friendly service(you order, put your number on the table, and they deliver to you), plenty of parking in the shared lot in back or street parking. Decent price for good quality. Glad I came here, not so much that I was feeling a little sick, more that I know what to expect. I’ve been to the one in Alhambra and in Westwood, but with other choices around there it didn’t leave much of an impression on me. Around Culver City with its definite lack of good Chinese food, we finally have a really good option. Will definitely come back.

I actually like coming here. Food is decent for a fast food. I’m a huge phở fan and I can say their phở isn’t bad. I like their shrimp Tom yum too. 1 star because they recently changed the size of their phở orders from the larger black bowls to the small white ones. The black bowls fill you up but the white ones don’t. I don’t understand why they did this. Are they that cheap that they need to shave off a little bit of food? I felt a little insulted and ripped off. For the price I rather go to Phở Show and order me a larger size phở for the same price. Update: they changed back their bowl sizes to normal!

Yes, I’ve been here four days in a row. I came on the first day to get some soup(Combo PHO) and a salad(Chicken Satay) they both were very tasty. The next day my son wanted some noodles and he got the BBQ Wonton Noodles. He loved it so much he begged me to bring him back for another bowl(3rd day) Today, he wanted to try the Pad Thai Noodles and got his dad to jump on the Noodle World boat. Husband got standard Chicken Noodle. I went for the Yakisoba dish. We are HOOKED! FYI, we’ve had GREAT customer service each day. Thanks Amber. She’s really nice and patient when taking our order.

So — not really a fan They have some good dishes and some good soups but since I’ve been here it’s a 50⁄50 shot of getting something good. Thai Iced Tea is too sweet. Tonkatsu Ramen is simply watered down and flavorless. Pad Thai is okay. Spicy Tom Yum is overloaded with lemongrass but still has flavor. The atmosphere is nice though. They set it up well and the employees are really welcoming. It’s typical of a fast food joint, but you kinda wish the food would be better. Parking is located behind the mall, but I haven’t had trouble with parking on the street.

Genuinely surprised by how good this place was. Recommended by my friend, the location is easy to spot for being right on Sepulveda Blvd near LAX. Plenty of free parking spots in rear. I’m quite picky about Pad Thai, but this place was better than some of the«authentic» thai restaurants. My mom had shrimp tom yum ramen, and the spiciness/sourness and ramen noodle was so perfect. Definitely gonna try other menu the next time I visit! Thai iced tea was a bit too sweet.

My sister lives over here on the Westside and I came to visit her today since we hadn’t seen each other in a bit. She instantly asked if I was hungry, in which case, I told her that I had just had breakfast a couple hours ago, however I didn’t even finish it, since I was so underwhelmed by it. I told her that I could eat a bit, but wasn’t starving. So my sister told me about Noodle World, Jr. She was super excited for me to try the garlic noodles. She said that they reminded her of the garlic noodles at Crustaceans. I’d never tried either before and I kind of turned my nose up a bit, but that was more so because I am not much of a noodle person. I work out a lot and try to watch my intake of stuff like this. I especially hate if it’s not good, because then I feel like I not only wasted my money, but also my time chewing, swallowing, and most importantly… stomach space! In any case, I went on and tried it… oh my goodness was that an amazing flavor! It was way better than I ever expected! The garlic flavor was somehow infused into the noodles. The noodles weren’t wet like some are or anything like that, but they weren’t dry, either. They just had a nice coating. You could choose to have broccoli or other veggies. I had it with broccoli. Just so you know, the garlic noodles are not on their menu. It was a special on their window. Apparently, they are trying to see what people think before they put it on their menu. Otherwise, they have noodle soups like the Chicken or Rare Steak Phở that comes with onions, green onions, cilantro, and rice stick noodles. They also have a BBQ Pork and Wonton Noodles soup that comes with Yu Choy, fried garlic, green onions, cilantro, and egg noodles. I really want to go back and try that one! They also have many different Ramen choices, Udon and Tom Kah which is a lemongrass coconut-based soup. There are also Wok Noodle dishes like Pad Thai, Chow Mein, Drunken Noodles and even something called Srirachagetti, which is a spicy spaghetti that comes with chicken, noodles, tomatoes, basil, and mushrooms in a spicy tomato sauce. There are various rice dishes like the Mint Leaf Chicken, Garlic Chicken, and even Pineapple Fried Rice, which comes with chicken, shrimp, cashews, raisins, and of course pineapple! For you vegan or vegetarian lovers; they also shine the love your way! They have a Veggie Miso Ramen, Veggie and Tofu Fried Rice, Veggie Noodle Soup, and Grilled Tofu Salad, in addition to various salads on the menu like the Thai Spicy Beef Salad, the Shrimp Noodle Salad, and the Chicken Satay. They have many sides from Edamame and Fried Tofu to Chicken Wings and Gyoza! In addition to the great food choices, they also have a nice variety of boba drinks!

Noodle World just opened in Westchester. This place is always busy! The selection of items is about ¼ or less than what is offered at their mothership restaurant in Brentwood. There are about 20 tables in this location, but seating is always limited. The food is well made and takes a bit of time to get your order. I got the Pad Kee Mao(glass noodles). The dish was made with fat rice noodles pan fried with veggies. The dish was tasty and I enjoyed my meal. My table mate had the basil chicken and it was delicious! I love this location because it’s super close to my work. The parking is convenient and spacious, and service is super fast. I always order the BBQ Pork & Wonton Noodle Soup. I LOVE that they have a self-serve sidebar of all the HOTSAUCE you could want and of many different varieties. @__@

I’ve driven past this spot almost daily waiting to walk through the front doors and enter Noodle World! As soon as I noticed it open, my office mate(always up for adventure) and I called the order in for added convenience. Looks like eventually they will have an order online feature like they ready have for their other locations. When they tell you it will be ready in 15 min just leave now! The parking is tough(and this was close to 2pm). Needless to say everything was ready when I arrived. We sampled the BBQ pork and dumplings Ramen Noodle soup. I liked the flavor of the broth and everything in the soup except I personally wasn’t super find of the noodle flavor. My office mate had no issues with it so perhaps our noodle nonsense cancels each other out. We also tried the Drunken Noodles — think Pad See Yoo noodles with more fresh vegetables and some Serrano heat(though it’s also easy to avoid the heat if you avoid eating the actual peppers). I personally loved those. The veggies were fresh and good quality! I indulged with a Thai Ice tea with Boba. I liked the flavor of the Bobas! I feel like there is a really Really REALLY faint Anise flavor at the very center. I could be totally off though too. I will return with my kids. I think they will love the noodle options!

I was excited to see an Asian place open up in the area and this place isn’t too bad! I didn’t have really high expectations considering my visits to the other noodle worlds(Alhambra and Westwood) but this place is clean and tidy. You order at the register first, grab a number and pick a table yourself. The service is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. I got the combo phở(#5) and I was pleasantly surprised that the soup base was decent. I couldn’t taste too much MSG which was a positive. The soup is pretty solid. They serve all of the noodle soups in a plastic bowl with plastic spoons. I thought that was… cheap. Anyways, the noodles were pretty decent — not too soft or too hard. I just thought the portion was a tad small. The price isn’t terrible either(about $ 8). I was feeling curious so I also decided to get a thai iced tea with boba. The thai iced tea itself was your typical thai iced tea. However, the boba was NOT good. It’s tough to describe but it was a little on the hard side but chewy at the same time. I would not order the boba again. Anyhow, I’d probably come back if I was craving some noodles and didn’t want to drive out to Chinatown/626 area for some noodles. While the food didn’t WOW me… it did the job of of satisfying my hunger. Their menu is pretty diverse(wonton noodles/phở/pad see ew, etc…) Glad to see this place open up in Westchester!
