loftSEVEN Penthouse

I really love this super cool indoor/​outdoor venue. Beautiful views. Great kitchen to work in!!. It can hold a lot of people, but also works well for smaller groups. i have done events for 450 guests, as well as ones for 150, and 30 guests and even a proposal dinner for 2. Lots of options for how to set up your event indoor and outdoor. Rooftop is so cool.. Nearby parking. Stephanie, the venue coordinator is very nice, helpful and great to work with.

My husband and I just got married at loftSEVEN on May 24^th and I can not say enought positive things about this venue. The first time we went to see it we fell in love with loftSEVEN. I literally said, «My wedding HAS to be here.» I didn’t want to look anywhere else. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR A LOS ANGELES CITY WEDDING!!! Our wedding was elegant, modern, and a blast! I wish we could do it again.
All of our guests were absolutely floored when they walked in the door and were even more impressed once they got to the rooftop. The city view is AMAZING! We are still getting compliments on this place. The style is modern and comtemporary and offers so many options for amazing photographs. Our photographers were in LOVE with how creative they were able to be here.
The best part about this venue is Stephanie Estes, the Executive Venue Director. She is absolutely wonderful to work with. Her response time to questions and inquiries is prompt and once you book this venue you are allowed to visit with your vendors (or family) any time you want. (I must have stopped by 8 – 10 times in the months leading up to the wedding). The venue only allows one event per day, so on the day of your event your vendors can start setting up early which they love. It allows time for any crisis to be dealt with and fixed before it even becomes an issue. Most venues will only give you 2 – 3 hours to set up and you will feel rushed if you have a wedding or event backed up with another one. Stephanie also has a ton of helpful advice on event planning and is well connected with a number of fantastic vendors for you to choose from. Everyone she recommended to me was fantastic and we hired our caterer, rental company and valet all based on her recommendations.
The venue is not traditional so if you are looking for the traditional «ballroom» type of wedding then you may want to look elsewhere. The untraditional element of this place is what makes it so fantastic. You will also need to keep in mind that brining in tables, chairs, catering, ect. is your responsibility. There are no package deals that include everything. Personally, I like that. I was able to shop around for what I really wanted and didn’t have to sacrafice anything due to «package requirements.»
If you are at all intrigued by hosting an event here call Stephanie. It is worth the extra time and money. Trust me.

We just had our engagement shoot here at loft SEVEN! This is actually our reception venue but we liked it so much that we also booked it for our engagement pictures. The modern interior and the rooftop with a view of downtown made it an ideal spot for our photo shoot. Also, it was super easy to book a convenient time slot in the evening with Stephanie, who is the venue coordinator. She is very helpful and responsive, which is really important when you are planning a wedding and have a million things you need to do. Our photographer loved the space and we made sure to use it to our advantage. Can’t wait to see how the photos turned out :))) Looking forward to be back here to party it up on the big day!

We recently booked this venue for our upcoming wedding in September this year. This venue has one of the best views in downtown Los Angeles, with a great mix of a contemporary feel on the inside.
Everything has been very smooth in terms of communication with Stephanie, she even let us stop in really quick to show the venue to some of our family. Thanks Stephanie!!!

We absolutely fell in love with this venue when we came to have a look at it for our wedding. After we reserved the space, Stephanie was very gracious to accommodate our schedules as we set up appointments with different vendors who had to check out the space. Additionally, when our parents came to town, we were able to stop by to show them the spot, even last minute on a couple occasions.
Our guests were very charmed by the location — it is a very special venue for out-​of-​town guests and locals alike. It truly is the picture of LA, as the highlights include a very modern, posh interior on the downstairs level and a stunning close-​up view of the DTLA skyline from the exterior top level.
LoftSVEN had more than enough space for our guests, and it was great to host the dinner downstairs, followed by dancing under the stars upstairs.
Our guests raved about the location… we loved it too!

I would suggest that if you do not have very specifics about your event prior to calling. Don’t call Stephanie at LoftSeven. My experience was she customizing based on your requirement. Another words the pricing is base on her mood. I found her to very rude. The are no rate sheets. So if you planning with a budget you will not get any corporation to help with your pricing and decisions of planing.

Loft Seven is an AMAZING venue for a wedding downtown. The HAAS building is gorgeous, and Loft Seven is the entire penthouse suite. The inside space is beautiful — modern with upscale amenities that can be decorated any way you want. The kitchen is a caterers dream, and there is a full bar, lounge area, and great audio visual equiptment built in. The rooftop overlooking downtown is absolutely stunning, and is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony, dance floor or even just a fantastic party. Stephanie runs the space and is so easy to work with, which is hard to find in the wedding/​party planning industry. She is very professional, patient, and makes throwing an event at Loft Seven a breeze! This venue is truly a hidden gem.

My homie had his birthday party at LoftSEVEN. This place is one of the nicest rooftop penthouses Downtown. The view was beautiful, and we felt real fresh being up there! The DJ was playing some crazy shit that everybody couldn’t help but vibe to. Some old school music videos were rolling on mute with the projectors they have up there. They had a Jacuzzi set up overlooking Los Angeles — I mean c’mon — this shit was ridiculous. I told the company I work for about it, so hopefully we get more parties going there.
