Lena Nails

Don’t do your nails in a hole-​in-​the-​wall Salons. I had to learn that the hard way. «Get Ugly», I guess that’s their mission and vision, nay! The one on top (refer to the picture), that’s what I want but I got the one from the bottom. Disaster for 34 bucks! No gel, no pedi spa. Just a regular Mani-​Pedi. I’m like wtf? I just paid no questions asked, and bounced! Poorly done manipedi and the lady (which believed as Lena’s Sister) needs more training. She over scrubbed my soles and I had scratches from that stupid stone or whatever you call it. And she terribly sucks at painting. She’s color blind too. I showed her the picture billion times and she keeps on asking for it and what she’s done is nothing like the one I want. I told her that’s green not white, she still put white. Ayayay.

I don’t get my nails done because it’s always hard to find a good place. Decided to Unilocal out a nail shop between work and home. Figured I’ll give out Lena’s nails a try with the good reviews. Parking is available so that’s a plus. Hours are good especially if you get our off work at 6. They close at 7:30pm during the week days. Took me and my daughter for French tip and manicure. We were greeted by the owner Lena and her staff. French tip is $ 23, which isn’t bad. I was hesitated with the gel but it was $ 20. One of the ladies started on my nails and since it was my first time. I didn’t know what to expect with a gel manicure. So far so good but then close to the end I noticed not so good. Turned out the gel manicure was properly done. The owner came over and said not to worry that she’ll do it herself at no charge. That made me realize they want to keep their customers happy and first timers (like me) to return. I returned back 2 days later and got what I wanted a beautiful gel manicure, no charge. I will be coming back here for now on. They have spa chairs as well. Place might need some updating but so far it’s gotten me to return in the future.

Love doing my pedis here! Lena is so sweet! And staff is always great! I have gotten acrylic nails once but wasnt to happy with them. But other then that I only come here to get my pedicure and I always leave happy!
