I had a great experience getting some photographs done here for my business marketing, and I would recommend Lamar to anyone looking to get headshots, family portraits, or any high quality images that you may need. I saw some awesome mounted portraits in his gallery as I walked in.
He was able to accommodate me as a walk-​in, and we were done in under an hour. That’s with selection and touch ups.
I’m considering giving out gift certificates to some of my family so that they can get family portraits done as Christmas gift next this year.

I took some graduation pictures and they came out awful! I heard about him through a couple friends so I decided to try it out. He scheduled me the same day and the session only took about 45 minutes! He had me do various poses and came up with some good ideas. After that he put them on a huge computer screen and touched them up in front of me and he puts all of the pictures on a website for you and your friends/​family to see! Would without a doubt come back here again.

LaMar Photography took our engagement pictures in Redondo Beach in 2001 and we have been going back to him ever since for annual family pictures. He has a knack of taking excellent pictures, does wonderful things with Photoshop (esp. useful with two young kids) and is very flexible with respect to scheduling. He is a small business owner that has been around for a long time… and with good reason… he takes great shots and is easy to work with. Highly recommended.

We thought they did a great job. Beautiful pictures, and they seemed to catch the perfect moments for our son’s wedding. The candids were particularly nice. We also thought he was the least visible of any photographer we’ve seen recently, never getting in the way of the proceedings. We thought both the photographer and the pictures were first class all the way, and we’d use him again.
