It’s a small one located in Citadel Food court, Hygiene standard are really questionable, I wonder why no one has reported this to mall management. Person on the counter brought our order from inside, right after he was cleaning floor with broom in hand, without even washing them first & after giving our fries went back to cleaning & when the Salad came, he did the same(not to mention — we threw the food). Definitely not going there again, not sure if anyone else also had the same experience.

Reasonably priced and delicious. Took a star out as their hot lentil soup is poured in a container that tends to warp due to the heat.

Just ate here my husband .We love Mediterranean food so we decided to try it. Worst experience ever the girl taking orders was rude. When I complained to manger he did nothing to rectify the situation not to mention the food was sub par small portions and way to many other place to choose with better service.

The person who owns this place is an unprofessional chap. I got very rude answers from him. He refused to serve free water to the customers. He was basically ripping off people and charging them for extra bottles of water. Do not buy food from this vendor. When I asked him about the reason he basically gave some flimsy excuses and refused to cooperate. It’s a total ripoff. I ask going to report this business to mall management.

Roasted tomatoe tasted burnt. I didn’t know you could burn a tomatoe? The hummus was a little salty. My bread was also cold and kind of hard. I did not enjoy the plate altogether, but rhe chicken breast was the only thing I liked. Over priced for what they give.

Really awesome food! Amazing lamp shanks. Good rice, hummus and my boyfriends Mediterranean combo was just as mouth watering as mine . Defiantly would have gotten 5 stars but the only thing which should be improved is the customer service.

I love me some Mediterranean food! Nothing is better than scarfing down some fluffy basmati rice and a juicy skewer of Beef lule kabob and this place delivers! Yes, that’s right, I’m giving them a thumb’s up. Other Unilocal reviews seem to be very nit-picky but all I care is that the food tastes good and you know what? I enjoyed the food very much! I ordered the Beef Lule kabob plate and it came with a nice helping of fluffy basmati rice, two half-sized skewers of Beef lule, grilled tomato and chili pepper, and a side of shirazi. The Beef lule had a different taste and wasn’t bland at all. The basmati rice was season perfectly and the sides were scrumptious. PLUS… the whole thing only cost $ 7.99! I dare you to find a Mediterranean restaurant anywhere that serves food this good for that low of a price! Plus the food didn’t take too long to cook, so that’s another plus. Okay, so maybe the portions aren’t so large and plentiful like at Massis Grill in Glendale, but for the price you pay, it’s definitely a bargain for good food. My only advice for my fellow Unilocalers is to order your food to go(becuz the restaurant can literally only fit FOUR people) and enjoy your food in the open air food court.

Not recommended at all! Rice and hummus probably from previous day… the meat is horrible. Sorry you guys need to improve…

Got the Beef Lule plate for $ 7.99 and the Vegetarian platter for $ 6.99, it was definitely one of the best middle eastern dishes I have tasted. Excellent job guys, my hats off to the cook. The guy behind the counter was helpful and courteous. He even explained to me the difference between a gyro and shawerma, which is the sauce that goes inside. Anyways, had a good experience that wasn’t too heavy on the pocket.

Great food, great atmosphere, excellent customer service. No wonder every time we go there is always a long line, I think they are one of the more popular choices in the food court. It is amazing how fast they prepare delicious made to order food. Nothing is pre-made, they start cooking as soon as you hand them the money :). I always get the pork chops plate with the French fries and it’s only 10 bucks, gets you a bunch of food.

There is not much else I can add that the other people who provided positive feedback did; however, it does not mean Lamajoon does not deserve more praise. Mainly because they have the best food in the whole Citadel food court, and believe you me, I have tried them all. The reason being: I work here in the Outlets. They have the freshest ingredients and as far as I can tell none of their meats are ever frozen and their salads are always outstanding without any blemishes. Try their chicken breast plate, it is sublime! «RECOMMENDED»

After an afternoon of shopping today I went into this place which caught my attention. The young man was nice enough to help me decide what was good about the menu and the chicken kabob was great! Very good hummus and pita bread too :) ! This place is delicious and very worth the price. Coming back again :)

I ordered Bulgarian chicken kabob yesterday. They didn’t give salad as per showed on menu picture but charged $ 8.99 as per menu picture. Owner was showing attitude when I told him to give little salad as menu pic but he refused to give and wanted to charge $ 1.60 for that. When I told him that salad is showing in menu… He said don’t go for menu picture. Owner was doing mopping the store without gloves n he swerved food with same dirty hands. Chicken was not fully cooked. I ll not recommend to anyone to go there and I will not go this citadel location anymore … Pathetic food & services ! Avi

So you’re trying to run a business called lamajoun, but you offer one mediocre version of it? On top of that you’re gonna give a customer attitude when they ask for it rolled up because they’re in a rush and say«No, you can do it yourself I’ll give it to you on a plate.» Good luck staying in business guys with that kind of customer service. At least smile while your saying no.

Everything looked more attractive on the menu than on our plates. The kabob plates are overloaded with rice. It’s honestly just a few pieces of meat, a ton of rice, and a pita. The meat was cooked really well, but as a plate, it’s pretty bland. We also ordered a vegetarian plate, which had dolmas, salad, cucumber yogurt, hummus, and pita. Although it was definitely more flavourful than the kabob plate, everything was way too sour. I know that Mediterranean food can tend to be sour, but this was over-doing it. Hold back on that balsamic vinegar!

Awesome food, unbelievable chicken. I ordered the combo for $ 12.99 and it was lots of food. Too bad the guy on the cash register doesn’t have an ounce of customer service, he doesn’t know that selling food by itself is not enough. Too bad. I easily would’ve giving them five stars if it wasn’t for the service. He’s cheap and try to even sell me the souse for extra .80 cents after I paid, at least he should suggest everything before completing the purchase. Other restaurants they give all these little things away for free just as a courtesy. I’m glad I asked if they had refill before I finished paying, which is an extra .66 cents.

The service is terrible. We approached the counter and stood there while the staff continued cleaning the kitchen and doing their side work. My friend then asked if they were still open and one of them answered but finally came over to take our order after he finished whatever he was doing. He had no enthusiasm.(I get that you don’t want to work there but you don’t have to show it to us!) Then I asked for a cup of water. Said I had to buy a bottle. I asked for a cup of water for my dog. Said he couldn’t do that. Can’t even give a customer tap water for her thirsty dog! The food was alright, they get one star for that.

3.5 stars! I was pleasantly surprised that the food was good, considering it’s in a food court at the Citadel Outlets. I ordered the Armenian Beef Luleh Kabob, which comes with two skewers of ground, seasoned beef, rice, salad & one grilled tomato & chili pepper. The beef was flavorful and served on top of a bed of rice, which was also cooked to perfection. If you like a little spice, ask for chili sauce to dip the meat. The mediterranean salad was just how I like it, juicy, lemony & full of cucumbers! The Lamajoon was delicious! Not as good as my mom’s, but I was still quite impressed. The seasoned meat topping was good, but the bread was the best part. It was the perfect thickness & crispy around the edges. The best way to eat Lamajoons is to squeeze lime all over the top of it & then roll it up like a taquito and enjoy! They sell them by the dozen, half dozen or singles. I also had a bite of the gyro sandwich, which was also really good. They’re quite generous with the tzatziki sauce so if you don’t like your sandwiches too saucy make sure to let them know ahead of time. The tzatziki sauce was delicious; it had the perfect amount of diced cucumbers and dill sprinkled throughout. The gyro meat was grilled enough so that it wasn’t mushy & slight crispiness around the edges. There was three big chunks of meat in the sandwich, which was just right. Next time I dine here, I’m definitely ordering this sandwich. There’s no seating inside the restaurant, but there’s plenty of tables and chairs in the food court that are shared with all of the other surrounding restaurants.

Expect to get full on hummus, pita, and rice… they only put like 3 small pieces of chicken in there… This place is a hit or miss with their food and service but I usually find myself here because 1. I like kabobs and 2. they are conveniently located next door to my work place. One of the cashiers has exceptional customer service. The place is crazy busy during lunch time so they have to manage taking orders and answering the phone at the same time. She does what everyone in customer service should do: acknowledge, empathize/apologize, and thank(yes I am corporately trained… wa wa wa). I take note because I sit there and wait for my order so I have nothing else to do but listen to her with other customers. This is a VAST difference from their other cashier who is a WITCH with a capital B. She is rude as hell and seriously comes off like taking your order is a HUGE sacrifice for her to do. How dare we make an order? Their food is very tasty but again, the portions are hit or miss. Sometimes you will get a full kabob. Sometimes you will only get three tiny pieces of chicken in your plate. They do pack the rice and the humus but just be aware that on any given day, half of your chicken will be MIA. Will I continue to come here? Sure, why not. Will I continue to come here and not pimp slap a rude cashier? I can’t make promises.
