Environment: they need more indoor sittings just because it’s summer now! Clean. It was really nice to get out of scorching heat, and have some good layer cake and ice water with generous amount of lemons. Ordered green tea layer cake, it’s not horrible just little bit bitter from its green tea powder. Should order the normal one next time. Their cheesecake really good wasn’t too hard. Morning is really a good time to come here. Otherwise there will be a huge line or they sold out all their cakes.

Suggestion: Park at meters on nearby street and order some cakes as take-out. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – My experience: My friend keeps complimenting about how fantastic the place is and she visits this place every time she visits Los Angeles. I lived in Santa Monica for 2 years and have never tried this place so I just wanted to give it a try. There is valet parking available for 8 dollars. I suggest that you park at meters on streets nearby, especially if you just want to order for take-out and I do recommend you to go for take-out. Like other people said, this place really becomes a tourists spot thanks to Weibo(Chinese Twitter). During my visit, most customers are Chinese tourists. Not many complaints to those tourists but the store wasn’t able to keep its service up with the increase of customers. I sat for 10 minutes yet still no one came to take my order. I ordered the Green Tea Crêpe and the Paris Black tea. Tea did offer abundant aroma. As for the cake, it really depends on person. The cake is not as sweet as those cup cake you can get at Ralphs but it you can’t handle sweetness and creamy flavor well you really should look for something else. The cake itself deserves a four-star review. However, keep in mind that after all it is a cake, so it is as good as a cake can get. So don’t have unrealistic expectation on it. In addition, one-slice per person should be enough, since even with tea the cake will tastes greasy after one slice for me. Now when it comes to the downside, my major complaint is the price. The black tea I ordered cost me 6 dollars and the single slice was 8 dollars. Given the service I got, I intended to reflect it in tips but nevertheless I was charged 18% gratuity. My opinion is the same as Angel’s so I will just use hers as summary. If there is a long wait, you should just leave and come back next time if you can. Also it’s difficult justify the price and the amount traffic you have to endure to get to the store.

been here a few times, had different kind of cakes before, The classic Mille Crêpe, green tea, checkers, Mont Blanc, and some others, stopped by yesterday and ordered my favorite, the Classic Mille Crêpe, very consistent, perfect with a cup a of hot coffee. The Mont Blanc(Chestnut) was the sweetest food I’d ever had in my life. The mocha drink was way too sweet also. Ironically, it came with extra sugar packets of condiment. Make sure to request at least half the dose less of sugar rush when order. It was about noon, chairs were upside down on the tables outside, would have been even better if outside seating was available.

The best crêpe cake I have ever had! I generally don’t like dessert, since most of desserts contains lots of sugar and cream, and it’s too sweet for me. However, this cake tastes not greasy and over sweet at all! You can feel the fresh milk and the tenderness of the cake!

On our way to Fonuts, I noticed a line and realized it was for Lady M, a place my boss had told me about. Fonuts had run out of donuts for the day so my friend suggested we turn around and try Lady M. I’m glad we did! I know not everyone on here is impressed with them but we were enough to want to go back. We shared the red velvet, strawberry shortcake and lemon crêpe cake. I prefer my red velvet to be a bit more *rich* but my Georgia friend loved it. The crêpe cake didn’t have an overwhelming lemon taste like most lemon desserts tend to have. I do think I would pass up on the strawberry shortcake next time just because it did feel more like a standard cake. Good but still average. I have to say, none of these left me feeling like I’d just stuffed my face. They were all light. We walked in not planning to eat there but then thought we should once we saw the selection. However, we heard someone complaining about the table service charge and decided against it. What is it 18%? Give me a break. The place is tiny. I can walk my own slice of cake to my table thank you very much. Also, finding parking on the side street wasn’t difficult at all.

This place is partially responsible for my 7lb current weight gain. I wish my brother in law never started bringing these crêpe layer cakes around during family parties. I took off one star because parking or lack thereof gives me annoyed vibes. Valet in front is 8 bucks. Which would be the cost of a slice of cake.

Okay, this is definitely a tourist spot. My cousin decided to come here on a whim thanks to her friend who shared photos on Facebook. We sat down ourselves and immediately noticed ALL the patrons were Asian. For the whole visit of 30 minutes, it was just Asians. Nvm that this was in Beverly Hills so it’s not the geography. Anyways, the food wasn’t too bad. The matcha cake was tasty but 8 bucks only makes me want to get it 1x. Same with the tea. Oh yeah, because this place is so fancy, they charge you 18% gratuity unless you take out. But that’s inconvenient bc you have to pay valet or parking for a togo. Btw one guy in a lambo did that so he left his car to the valet WITH passenger inside while the valet guy moved his car up 1 feet. Maybe it’s because I’m from Texas and parking is abundant so that was wth moment for me. If you wanna soak up the sun and eat fancy cakes and listen to rich ppl’s conversations and pay for parking, GOFORIT! the servers and the patisserie chef were very nice ppl tho! The food is def instagram worthy!

3.5 stars. I came to experience what the hype was about, since my friend wanted to take me years ago when I was in NYC, and after seeing couple of new café locations in HK. These cakes are fresh and best consumed almost the same day, especially their signature mille crêpe cakes. The crepes will turn rubbery after a day. If you come before lunch time, parking tends to be tolerable. Sunday parking is also free at metered spots. Don’t assume the risk of getting ticketed in those residential areas, where the signs are not exactly clear that you must have a permit to park. We arrived around their opening time and there was no wait and service was quick. You can pay as soon as you sat down and ordered. I was able to also pay for a to go order that they brought to us when we’re about to leave. My friend and I shared 3 cakes and each ordered a coffee: stumptown cold brew and an iced latte. Decent serving sizes and price was reasonable. The iced latte was also pretty good. Signature mille crêpe: 4 stars. I liked it, not too sweet, and the crêpe was fresh. The crepes are really thin and layered between cream so the texture felt like sheets of softness with more softness. It’s not a transformation from textured cake to «melt in your mouth» experience, just a lot of softness. Cream’s flavor is just right and not too greasy. banana mille feuille: 3.5 stars. slightly better, but banana flavors was not strong enough. I wish there was some sort of a rum flavored cream that complements the bananas a bit. Also too much cream. I’ve had better ones and it was nothing«well known» in Montréal. strawberry mille fueille: 3 stars. too much cream, did not like the cake layer. I hoped there was more strawberries so that flavor comes through more evenly. To go for my parents: citron mille crêpe(seasonal): 3 stars. instead of the typical cream, they used lemon custard. The consistency was not as soft as their signature’s cream, and actually tasted heavier. The lemon barely came through the greasy custard and I could not have had more than a few bites. Gâteau aux Marrons: 3.5 stars. chestnut is a bit too sweet and was kind of diluted down in my opinion. I was looking for a thick and sweetened chestnut paste, but instead all I had was soft and sweet paste, hence the chestnut flavor was significantly reduced. I don’t know if I will ever return, but I would try a mont blanc, which looked more interesting at this point. Overall, the experience was superficial and the cakes themselves lacked depth and just straight up «cream». I prefer different textures and flavors, and transformations of textures as I eat my desserts, but this cake shop did not deliver that. This is not a place I will get in line for more than 10 minutes. I can’t justify the price point, the distance traveled/traffic endured, and the struggle with parking to find a reason to return. I don’t mind dropping by if I am ever in the area. There are better patisseries that cost about the same but deliver better desserts.

The cakes in this bakery are incredible. They are made of 20 crepes with light cream. There are different flavors, I tried the green tea, citrus & original, a must try. A great spot for afternoon break coffee or tea. I’m glad I tried this wonderful bakery.

Tried their Strawberry & Green Tea Millie Cakes. Both were ok… kinda on the bland side for me. I preferred the green tea vs the strawberry. Overall it was ok but I don’t see myself going back for more. Loved that they had Stumptown coffee though.

This place is the typical overprice overhyped bakery. Came here to try the hyped up green tea crêpe cake which was $ 8 a slice. Price to satisfaction ratio was about 4:1. The portion was small but I guess that’s alright because they put it in a cute little to go box. When the to go presentation is the most impressive thing about a meal/dish, you should probably just give it a pass, but you won’t. because if you’re here in the 1st place you’re either an Asian girl who saw the green tea crêpe cake on social media or you’re accompanying one. Enjoy your $ 8 of decent fluffy green meh.

So fluffy and semi sweet, perfect afternoon snack to be enjoyed with a cup of coffee. Pair it with a beautiful day and you have absolute perfection. The line is slightly long if you are planning to eat in because the small little boutique shop does not offer too many seatings(limited patio seating also available), the line to take out seems to be running slightly faster. I also saw you can buy the whole cake to go, no idea what the price is since it’s not displayed, probably something you have to research ahead of time on their website. My sister and I tried the Matcha and their Signature crêpe mille and it was delicious! I really wouldn’t mind having a piece per day if I could. 4 thumbs up from us!

Came here around 3:30pm and there was about a 10 minute wait to be seated. We ordered their original mille cake and the strawberry mille cake. For some reason my original cake seemed like it was just defrosted because it was a little cold and hard towards the middle. My mom’s cake was much softer and easier to cut through. For $ 8 per slice you can find way better desserts in the area. It cost around $ 40 for 3 slices and 2 coffees which is pretty high. It was good, but nothing special. I probably wouldn’t come back.

Five stars just because of my personal preference! The last time I tried Lady M was in New York, and I couldn’t resist coming here when I went to to LA for a weekend. I absolutely LOVE the concept of a crêpe cake. It’s light, it’s not overly sweet, it’s filled with TEXTURE and bursts of gentle yet intense flavors. Cakes aren’t usually my goto dessert as they can usually be overwhelming sweet and dense. But this is just the exact opposite. I can consume multiple slices all by myself :’) My favorite flavor is definitely the green tea! I don’t think I’ll get the strawberry again because it’s just the original one with like 5 strawberry bits in between. The price is pretty high, $ 8-$ 8.50 for a pretty small slice of cake, but I just keep coming back LOLOOPS. Also, there’s always a line.

I had my first bite of a Lady M Mille Crêpe cake from the original NY store and I was instantly hooked. Before this location opened, my mind kept wandering back to the time when I had my first bite of the cake and how long would it take for me to go back to NY to have another bite. Well, that all changed when they finally opened a location in LA. I actively sought to find an excuse to be in the area in order to swing by. Unfortunately, since Lady M is open later in the day than most shops, it was harder to try to be the first in line before everyone else. When I finally was able to make it here at a decent time, I was impressed with the décor of both the inside and outside of the shop. Completely decked out in white, everything looks so clean and orderly. There is a large glass with the varieties of cake all displayed for patrons to select which one suited their fancy(similar to their NY stores). I chose to take a couple of the Mille Crêpe cake slices to go as well as a few other flavors, such as their green tea one. When I got home, I bit in my Mille Crêpe cake and was instantly hooked again to the delicate flakiness of the crepes, well complimented by the perfectly sweetness of the crème in between each layer. I have referred friends to this place and have been back multiple times to buy more cake(even guilty of buying an entire cake one time to share amongst friends and family). A simple must try if you’re in the area. I believe Gyu-kaku also sells Lady M Green Tea Mille Crêpe Cake now, but it just simply isn’t the same. it isn’t.

The famous mille crepes! I tried the original flavor and green tea mille crepes. Not a big fan of green tea flavor, the green tea powder on top makes the crepes a little bit bitter. The original flavor is my #1 choice! The thin layers of the crepes with freshly made whipped cream… simple & delicious. They are not super sweet; therefore it is addictive to eat slice after slice! Yes, they are a little bit pricey. The whole cake is over $ 70. However, it is definitely worth to try once! You won’t regret!!!

I savored a cup of tea and a slice of cake al fresco, suppressing a giggle as excited customers walked up to Lady M snapping photos as if it were the Hollywood sign. Oops, I’m one of them. I’m unfashionably late to the party, only having had the crêpe cakes at tea and coffee houses that source from Lady M. I’ve tried vanilla and green tea– I’m here for chocolate. It’s 20 slim crepes alternated with layers of airy cream. It’s a duality of tenuous texture and fluffy filling. It’s paradise with the price tag of $ 8.50 a slice. The price is alright because I pay $ 4 for a flat white at Starbucks and it’s 18 layers fewer than a slice of Mille Crepes at Lady M. Not to mention the rarity of finding the cake boutiques(only New York and Los Angeles). A small pot of Royal Wedding tea, light and fragrant with the scents of almond and coconut, atop an all-white table setting turned this evening into an impromptu tea party. The $ 6 pot yields about 3 cups. We parked at the meters for $ 2/hr. although we later saw a sign pointing towards the back that said«Lady M» parking. I’m guessing their parking is valet. The service was excellent, friendly smiles and caring attitudes. Our server even went around the fence onto the sidewalk to get both us and the Lady M banner in the photo. She knows what the tourists want, and the tourists are more than thrilled to pose for a cheesy picture.

Came here after having healthy meal at Sweetgreen. I’ve tried Lady M in New York once and I have always heard great things about lady M regardless of its price. I had great experience of trying their Original Mille Crepes so I wanted to try green tea flavor this time. Surprisingly, this place had no waiting line when me and my BF arrived. We were greeted nicely by the staff and were leaded to the outdoor seating. They have very nice customer service, it made me feel like dining in a fancy restaurant.(And then I realized that they added tips to bill automatically lol) I ordered their famous Green Tea Mille Crêpe and my BF got their Checkerboard Cake. They both tasty delicious. I actually like the green tea crêpe more than their original flavor. The green tea flavor was not too sweet and bitter. I have always concerned with some bakeries overpowered the flavor of cake with too much sugar but it did not happen here. The checkboard cake was delicious too. The chocolate tasted expensive because it was at the right level of moist and richness. Even the color of chocolate was pretty. I had to say that it is a expensive dessert place but worth a try once a while and treat yourself.

My friend was a huge fan of Lady M so we came here for a short stop to enjoy some sweets before our departure for SanFran. This time, I would like to try something new as I used to always get the green tea crêpe or the original flavor. Opted for the banana mille feuille cake and shared the white tea with my friend. Consistency wise, this location was equally good. The combination of tea with cake was always the best! Come and visit NY if you would like more Lady Ms and do not want to encounter a long wait lol.

No wait on weekdays(although I was second in line and 15 were waiting by the time it opened). I managed to find free parking on Burton(free 2 hours). The green tea mille crepes slices are $ 8.50 each and the signature mille crepes slices are $ 8 each. Since everyone talks about this place, I gave it a shot. It was way too expensive but so creamy and yummy. It’s not so much a cake, but more of layers of crepes. Each bite was creamy and flavorful. But because of the price, I will probably never come back again. It was overall a good experience, because the employees are efficient and professional. I was in and out very fast. [One time it was almost closing time at around 7pm and I called to confirm that they closed at 7pm. I was already nearby and headed to the door; turns out they had run out of cakes. It would have been nice if the employee informed me they were out of cakes]
