Based on my last(mostly) good experience, I ordered again on a Wednesday night for delivery. The estimated delivery time was 45 – 60 minutes, but it took almost an hour and a half. However, the delivery driver was nice and the food arrived super hot. Plus, they gave me the extra ranch dressings I asked for in my order. Late delivery still is not acceptable, but I’ll let it slide this time. This time I tried the chicken parmesan sub and french fries. Both were really good! I could barely eat half of the food and I was stuffed. The chicken parmesan had tons of amazingly delicious chicken. The only downside is that the bottom of the bread broke through due to the sauce. This didn’t affect how delicious it was, though. I would order this again. The french fries were crispy and thicker than McDonalds-type fries. Clearly not homemade or anything, but still good. Pros: Free delivery + low order minimum Great chicken parmesan sub Great french fries Order was correct and food arrived hot Cons: Late delivery I recommend this place and will order from them again. Read my last review for info on the calzone and tiramisu.

This is my favorite go to for a quick, delicious lunch. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. The people are so nice and always attentive. They have fantastic lunch specials that are easy on your wallet but stellar on the taste buds. The salad and rolls are a perfect start to the lunch and the Italian dressing is absolutely wonderful. I suggest when you want something quick and delicious, give them a try. You won’t be sorry

Impressive… the mild richness of flavor in her sauce is … humbling. Thank you.

It’s a great«to go» place. The staff aren’t super friendly so it’s awkward to sit in the restaurant. Great prices! I get the lunch special for like 5 bucks. Big slice of pizza, I like zucchini and cheese and a side salad with a soda! Super deal… just awkward.

Julie’s is my go-to for a pizza order when I’m craving it. They have awesome fries and appetizer choices too(chicken tenders are tasty)! Delivery is usually pretty good, though once I did have to wait an unusually long time. That was just once though, and the rest of the times were pretty spot on with their estimate.

I thought I would try this place since I was in the area and wanted pizza. I can’t even believe this is pizza. The sauce was bland, the crust was alright nothing great. I had pepperoni and it was just bland. The cheese doesn’t even taste real. It seems like it is processed at best. Really disappointed and no need to try it again. The place was empty and I can understand why. Definitely not worth it FYI they charge an extra 50 cents for using the credit or debit cards

I wish I could give zero. I’ve never written a bad review. But I feel like I have too. I ordered food and was waiting for an hour and forty — five minutes and it didn’t come. I called and the lady — who I think is the owner– said sorry the guy was in traffic. I asked how long ago he left and she hung up on me. I ordered through . She then proceeded to cancel my order on her own with no word to me. And she charged me. The food is really good but it was ridiculous the lack of service it provided. Not even lack of service but –if possible — the negative service. Avoid at all costs. I feel bad saying it! But it’s true

When I’m craving pizza and don’t want something frozen from Trader Joe’s… I’ll walk or drive a tiny bit further and grab a slice from Julie’s. I generally walk in & order cheese slices(so simple!) but they always hit the spot… especially with a dose of red pepper flakes. And I say«they» because oftentimes when I order one slice, I get two :) Why? Because they’re awesome! They do have a pretty expansive menu, though, with a variety of sandwiches and salads and pastas and a lunch special — if that floats your boat. Delivery takes longer than you’d probably expect/want since it’s a mom & pop competing with hoards of Domino’s and Pizza Hut chains nearby(one even in the same tiny plaza…) so would recommend picking up if you can. Plus, pizza always tastes better fresher. And… the parking lot can be a little tricky but given that this is West LA, I assume you’re prepared for that — and if anything, I’m just glad they have a lot to begin with! NOTE: They don’t take AmEx.

I placed a lunch order and the delivery guy never even showed up. Due to a medical condition I had gotten seriously ill when the food didn’t arrive after an extended period of time. So I decided to speak to a manager. When I called to speak to a manager I was told that the manager was not there and a woman rushed me off the phone and hung up on me without taking my information for someone to contact me later. I called back to give my number and was rushed off the phone again. This time she said, «Yeah yeah yeah we have your number, I’m very busy.» Click! I am amazed at the poor customer service I received from this place. #1-How does your driver just disappear and not deliver orders. #2-Why have a rude person in charge of customer calls/orders? Somethings not right with this place. I had an absolutely horrible experience and I won’t be ordering here again. ***Later that evening I was contacted by someone from Julie’s and they said they were sorry about the entire situation. They attempted to offer me free food, but I declined because I’m so disgusted with this place.

Delivery took an hour and a half(quoted 60min on a Tuesday and I live half mile from restaurant) called the restaurant and the answer I got was«its coming he had a lot of deliveries» No sympathy or apology after stating my quoted vs actual time… well when you put a deliver minimum of $ 10 on Eat24 with no delivery fee(even though my order total was $ 17) I assume the restaurant is trying to drive sales yet isnt staffed for them? Food was luke warm at best. I assume most customers take it out on the driver, not fair. Its okay to make mistakes but not recovering paying customers is bad practice, get it together.

Tonight I ordered out for Julie’s. Ordered the gourmet pizza which has a garlic butter sauce, hot wings and fried mushrooms. Unfortunately they were out of fried mushrooms so I had fried zucchini instead. 1st off, the flavor of the pizza crust & the sauce is wonderful. Really good, but…, the center of the pizza was soggy. What a pity. So close to nailing it. The fried zucchini was good. Really like the breading. The wings were just ok. Wing Street wings are better. I do love that Julie’s is a non-chain local restaurant & will try her again.

The best hot sandwiches in town! Love the French roll bun and turkey melt! Meatball sandwich is well seasoned! Thanks for the speedy service and excellent food. You’re getting me through this pregnancy! :)

I decided to stop by this shop because its really close to where i live. I ordered 1 slice of the Sicilian plain cheese. OMG it was ooozing with cheese. It was amazing! I definitely want to go back to try the other flavors just based on the cheese pizza. They were super friendly too and the portion(at least for the one slice) was very big! My only thing is its very sparse inside. As in, they dont have like parmesan cheese or chili flakes readily available and its a bit hot inside. Other than that, great little shop!

I have a client nearby and have seen this place for a while. It’s pretty nondescript from the street so getting in there hasn’t been a high priority. Today I went in for a slice and based on my experiences at most other pizza joints and the fact that I was hungry I ordered two. I barely finished. Each slice is about 1⁄3 of a typical medium pizza. Good cheese, good sauce, good deal!

Each slice of pizza receives a generous amount of sauce and cheese. The crust has that touch of white dough after coming out of the oven. The toppings themselves are apparent and present themselves in an organized fashion on each slice of pizza. In short summary, it’s a slice of pizza. This is a good spot for those that are craving pizza NOW and can’t wait for either Trader Joe’s pizza from across the street or want to try something other than the other pizza places around the area. Meaning Julie’s doesn’t hold too stiff along with the competition, but it doesn’t mean it’s bad pizza. It’s not razzle dazzle pizza. So again, if you want something to the point without the flare, but still holds up as the definition of pizza, then Julie’s Pizzeria is not a bad spot. You get a slice, you receive the slice. Boom! Will I ever come back? Unless they introduce a radical new menu revamp, it was only worth trying something new.

I really really wanted to like this place since it is close by but there was nothing I can say that I enjoyed about it other than the can of coke. The woman at the register seemed annoyed to be taking my order. Then she ran off to the back and didn’t come back out. I had to shout at the cook just to get another paper plate. The sauce they use in their spaghetti and pizza was crazy bland. It was tasted like a watered down tomato paste.

I had to say my order three times, due to the cooks yelling in the back and the cashier unable to hear. It’s not like it’s not an amiable environment, they weren’t trying to be difficult to me directly. Though they should remind themselves this is a business. Still, it matters not when my enthusiasm for the taste hardly sets my satisfaction a-«blaze.» #second-rate

Very decent pizza. Not the biggest slices but I was Ok with that to not feel stuffed. Very thin NY style. 2 slices, salad and a drink was like 6.99 per the lunch special. The salad wasn’t very good but the ranch dressing was. Overall I’d try something else there next time as they have calzone and pastas that looked aight.
