Terrible customer service. Cashiers are always grouchy for some reason. Terrible check out system. Really hate having to come here.

I give Jetro 5 stars because they know me and give me excellent Customer Service, you know me the Customer Service has to be right or else. It’s a Gemini Thing, Lol I made it clear to them when I first started shopping there before they moved to Jefferson and Cochran across from Normandie Bakery(which by the way is one of LA’s best kept secrets) and they were located on 57th and Alameda how they had to talk to me. Because the first time I went there they were talking to people real crazy. However that was a longtime ago and they have changed, they give much better CUSTOMERSERVICE and since they are a warehouse store they have lots of compitition from the other warehouse stores. They are really geared towards caterers and Mom and Pop stores and small businesses. I can say I am proud of their improvements with the exception of their carts(never understood them and never will) Jetro is like a #tbt kind of store, they have so much of everything even liquor and cigarettes. Want to hear something funny, they will not, I repeat they will not sell you ONE bottle of wine unless you show them a copy of your liquor license or it’s in their computer. Please tell me how many people that sells wine, beer or spirit’s only purchase ONE bottle of wine for their inventory, for Christ sake I pleaded with them and told them it was for ME, DUH and still they would not sell me ONE bottle. The good part of this is that they really follow the Law, Lol All and all I highly recommend them. I Do Not understand their system, however it is their store, their system, SMH I still love them and cannot do without them, Lol They have too much of what I need and they break cases like Smart and Final. They are also known as Restaurant Depot has been around a very long time and for a lot of good reasons. Did I mention they have a fresh meat department as well as a huge fresh Seafood counter, fresh produce and all the dairy products you could ever hope for. Here’s the punch line, you must own a business to shop there and get this, there are no kids allowed in the store under the age of 16. GOTTAPROVEYOURAGE, now I am ROTFLOL In closing there’s always excitement going on and new employees to met and the lifers that are Die Hearts to chat with. Like I said I love them and I am a regular, they are so entertaining I always forget to check in I guess because it’s like going home, I don’t check in there either, and I have my own KEY, how COOL is that.(to my house, not Jetro) Any hoo stop by for anything and Treat YO Self!

Small restaurants saving grace. Bring $ 1000 and be prepared to loose 2 hours of your life. Holla!

The worst part of my working at a restaurant is having to come to Jetro. One of every four employees is in a decent mood(that means three of four are rude, snide, or asleep). Checkout is absolutely terrible. Every visit is the equivalent to Target on Black Friday. Management is spread too thin. Employees aren’t given the tools they need to do their jobs. It is frustrating and awful every time I need to shop there, which is at least 3 times a week.

They have great products but their management needs to learn to treat their customers better. We come often and everytime we come, one of their managers is on their rag. It’s quite sad that someone like that is a manager. They need to improve their customer communication skills smh

Place to find any fresh seafood… or everything you need to build a good restaurant. Mmm, I need to make spicy tuna this weekend.
