Grabbed a quick bite before a meeting, and wasn’t happy with the sandwich — especially, for a mini sandwich, it was quite pricey — even with 10% off Unilocal check in. Ordered #2 — Jersey Mike’s Shore Favorite: Mini size: provolone, ham and cappacuolo with lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil and spices with a regular drink. Total cost was $ 8. Opened the sandwich — the wheat bread was hard on the bottom, and soggy from the oil olive on top. The lettuce just fell completely apart and all over the wrapper when I picked it up. The meats were so thinly sliced and disappeared in the huge heaping of lettuce. Ended up scraping away so much lettuce just so I can taste the meats and provolone. I liked the sandwich I ordered before at the Santa Anita mall in Arcadia — but this one, not impressed by it. The only thing I actually liked was the soda. Sadly, I wanted to like Jersey Mike’s, but Jimmy John’s and Subway still reigns supreme.

Dear owner, GETYOURSELFSOMENEWEMPLOYEES! Dear consumer: want to get smug looks when you walk in the door and mumbled to and treated like crap, this is the place for you! Went in this location tonight, I have never been here and am from out of town. The two girls working just looked at us walk in with nasty looks on their faces, they looked miserable and RUDE(talk about B**** face!). No greeting at all and they just kept doing whatever they were doing and did not say anything to us and finally looked as us looking annoyed. Didn’t say«what can I get you» or anything so we just started ordering and at first they weren’t even making our food. When they finally started to serve us we had to repeat ourselves over and over and the girl literally mumbled the entire time. Not a smile, not a thank you, nothing. Needless to say HORRIBLESERVICE!!! Bread was hard, soda was flat. I will never return(I visit this area frequently). And I hope more people rate this place to hopefully get the attention of the owners.

This location, has the worst customer service i had seen in a long time at any location. There is no question that employees hate their jobs. They literally look unhappy when a new customer walks in. Also aprons were quite dirty.

I absolutely love the sandwiches from Jersey Mike’s, but this is the worst location I have ever been to. One staff member in particular was so blatantly rude to me — it was extremely uncomfortable and very unprofessional. Everyone there had a very bad attitude and acted as though the customers were interrupting their business/gossip. The staff here needs a super serious attitude adjustment from management.

I absolutely love Jersey Mike’s! I switch off between the hot and cold subs. For the hot subs, you cannot go wrong with the #43 cheesesteak. As far as cold subs, I get the Club or the California Club(secret). I go here at least once a week, and have not gotten sick of it. They also offer a decent points program for every sandwich you buy. It comes out to be about a free sandwich after every 8 – 10 you buy, depending on the size.

Staff is so slow. Takes three to four times as long as it should. Restaurant is dirty. Tables are always dirty. Workers create bottlenecks constantly.

I’m giving this place a star only because I’m forced to. First I LOVE Jersey Mikes! This rating is more about this location than the company it’s self. I walked in to the store with my son to get dinner. There where 2 men standing at the counter ready to order. The two workers where turned around totally ignoring the customers in the store. They where too busy gossiping. they finally turned around to take their orders. the girl taking the orders was being short and all out rude to the customers ordering. Has she was fixing the sandwich she was still gossiping to the other worker… Not being engaged with the customers as per normal Jersey Mikes protocol. The sandwich station was FILTHY. That’s when I started to have second thoughts about me purchase there. One of the gentlemen who was ordering spilled his drink on accident. The girl taking the orders rudely yelled at the guy«did you spill something?!!» Then walked back to the back with totally attitude to get a mop. Has she walked towards the front, still rolling her eyes, I walked out. Like I said I love jersey mikes, this is my first and LAST time I go to this location… I am thinking about making a complaint on this store to corporate. I still can’t believe what I witnessed in this store. Every other jersey mikes I go to I get nothing but the best customer service! This on the other hand was terrible

Workers here pull shady stuff, they never stay open until 9, they close early and say some BA about maintenance issues more than a handful of times. Management should clean house and hire hard working individuals to run this business.

Ok, since i do live VERY close to this place and it was pouring out today i made another visit to see if it had improved at all, and I have to admit, it has. It was lunchtime, but the service was prompt and polite and things moved fairly quickly. It was also clean(enough) in that it didn’t appear to be dirty. I loved my cheesesteak sub and even though I added a few items at the last minute(pickles, etc) it was made exactly as i ordered it. My only complaint is that she didn’t CUT the sandwich before she wrapped it. But other than that, it was fine! I will return, next time I’m jonesing for a cheesesteak!

I used to like Jersey Mike’s. But the last 3 – 4 times I have been to this location, the sandwiches have been totally sloppy, skimpy on the meat, and just sad. I used to feel like it was a treat getting a sub from this spot, but now I just feel like I’m getting ripped off and the sandwiches are made with no love at all. You open the wrapper, soaked with oil and vinegar, and lettuce falls out everywhere. The whole sandwich just looks pathetic and tastes just meh. Will probably not go back for a while.

This is the worst Jersey Mikes that I’ve been to and I’m a fan of the chain. This one is dirty and slow, slow I can deal with… but the employees here don’t seem to care about cleanliness at all. Even the windows to watch them make sandwiches through are dirty. Today, the line was about 10 people and it took 20 minutes to even order. Slow and they had 2 employees that were off duty talking to the other employees about what they were going to do later… Really? Where is the manager here? OK, back to the south bay and my guys that run a good JM store. Yuck!

The rating keeps getting worse and all of you Unilocalers know how much I love JM’s! This is the WORST location out of any I have ever been to. Lack of solid organization, my order was wrong but I am now at the office so I cannot resolve the issue with my #20. It was busy so I get it, But if you come out to the line, and ask what would you like AND you write down the order…(you see where I am going with this?), how can you mess up the order. I said I wanted everything on my #20 plus pickles, onions mayo and mustard. I know mayo on a #20…Don’t judge me. When I got my sandwich(hot sandwich), they tried to just hand it to me. Umm, I have to walk a few blocks back to the office and I said this was to go, and you still tried to hand me the hot sandwich wrapped in foil??? Really? Then they had to call my co-worker back because they gave him the wrong sandwich. Duuuude! Come on! Back to my sandwich. So my #20 did not have the sauerkraut that supposed to come with it either! Pastrami without sauerkraut… Yeah me thinks not! Pray for this location Unilocalers.

This is by far, and away, the worst Jersey Mike’s location possibly anywhere. Don’t just take my word for it, read the countless poor remarks over the past few years. Because I love Jersey Mike’s as a brand, and most of their locations are great as well as their employees, this location is the«apple that fell far from the tree»…then rolled even further from the tree down a slope, off a cliff, into a river, which carried it out to sea. If you didn’t follow that; what I’m getting at is this place sucks a$$. I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this location, and hesitated to write a poor review in hopes that they were having an off day. This isn’t the case with the Brentwood Jersey Mike’s. Everyday is an off day with these people. To spare you I’ll comment on two of the worst times I’ve been there. One time I phoned in my order and when I got there to pick it up, they said that I must have called a different location. When I pulled out my cell and re-dialed the number and their phone rang they said, «well who did you talk to» as if I was supposed to write the information down on who was taking my order. Honestly, what kind of customer service is this. You lost my order and didn’t make it, just own up to it. In addition they were argumentative to boot, which doesn’t help the situation when you’re the one whose shoulders the responsibility falls on. This past Thursday was the worst. I’d learned my lesson regarding calling in orders, which would have been helpful in this case, but knowing better I walked in. I asked the four women and one guy behind the counter how their day was going. Ironically they all responded with, «really busy». This is lunch time mind you and there was me in line and one person behind me and a couple customers finishing their lunches. There was more staff than customers in the joint. I ordered a giant turkey and provolone on wheat. The guy behind me ordered a regular of the same. The young lady making the sandwiches obviously had no idea what she was doing. A giant is twice the size of a regular sandwich, as they slice the giant loaf in half for the base bread of the regular size. She puts a total of four slices of provolone on his and five on mine… are you serious!?? I ask for extra meat and my sandwich total come out to $ 20 for the sandwich and a small bag of chips. Wow! A $ 20 sandwich this had better be good. Please see the pics below: I will NEVER go back to this location.

Edit to my original post below: The owner/manager of this location stopped by our office today to apologize for the issues we had yesterday. I am guessing because of this review and/or because of our multiple calls to the restaurant yesterday for help. I am changing to a 3 star review because the manager obviously cares about his clients(at least those that point out the issues). If you choose to get subs at Jersey Mike’s, avoid the veggie, unless you are supplying your own, and check your order at drop off. How Jersey Mike’s ruined the party. 1. The«veggie sub» does not have any veggies on it. We ordered a box full of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and cheese on bread for $ 62. 2. Extra dressing was requested, but not delivered. The manager claims he put it on the subs, but we can’t see/taste it. 3. Customer service is not helpful.

Terrible customer service and laughably unsanitary. I’m surprised it doesn’t have a B yet. The girl who made my sandwich had a disgusting attitude with me after asking for the sandwich I wanted and was literally yelling and arguing with me for no reason. Awful experience overall. I love jersey mikes but this location is the worst I’ve been to.

Big change from when they first opened here at this location. Very dirty tables and floors. No clean tables, had to clean one myself. Two to three employees standing around idle at any given time. Did not ask if I wanted any extras on sandwich or if I wanted it toasted. Did not put all the menu ingredients on the sandwich even though they obviously did not run out of them.

Very disappointed. This has declined. I’m one who gets completely irrational when it comes to my orders being not up to par. I am from NYC and lived here for a year but I did find this place closer to home when I first moved here. It’s was as close as any other place has gotten to what the east coast makes. I liked it at first. First, the sandwiches are soggy. It was never like this. I understand your bread is soft but toast it. I ordered a Philly with lettuce not mush. It was so mushy that I took out the fillings and used new bread. Fast delivery though and huge sandwiches. Wasn’t really impressed by the delivery guy shoving my sandwiches through my small gate and squishing them even more. I didn’t order a panini and the door was steps away. You can’t be branded as jersey subs and mess them up. Kinda hard to.

I don’t eat at Jersey Mike’s often but I went to an Angels game where they scored 10 or more runs so with my ticket stub over the following 2 days, I was able to get a FREE sub at JM’s. I pulled in about 20 minutes before they closed up for the evening and felt like a hot sandwich. There was only 1 table with 2 ladies already eating and 2 workers: Mike + Amber. It is very possible that I was the last customer of the night and I’m sure Mike + Amber were looking forward to heading home. However, after showing them my ticket for a free sub and asking their advice between 2 subs, they agreed and sold me on the Buffalo Chicken one… and it was good. But the thing I appreciated most is, Mike recommended a sandwich that he had to sear the chicken, add sauce and chop up — quite a lot of work from the sandwich places I’m used to going(Subway). While he prepared it, Amber went to work putting the tables and chairs away for closing. I didn’t feel rushed. Mike rang me up($ 0) and wished me a good night. I told him I appreciated that he and Amber recommended a sandwich they believed I would enjoy even though it would be a good amount of work for Mike which also probably made it so Amber would have to do more chair stacking on her own. So as far as customer service, these two could not have done any better. I was satisfied with the food and service. I hope your experience is the same when you visit.

Used to love this place for quick lunch subs. Lately, our orders have been sloppy and wrong all together. Ordered a regular Italian, received a mini. Ordered two subs in a tub… it was basically a cheese mangled Rueben with NO lettuce. I mostly saw the bottom of the bowl instead of food. I can’t wait for Jimmy John’s to make it’s way to the west side.

Slower service than I’m used to at a sandwich place and the bacon on my California Club tasted old and overcooked. The friendly cashier almost overcharged me for bacon and avocado too if I didn’t catch it. A little more staff and training might be good for this location. The food tasted alright and the place seemed clean-ish.
