Mmm in-n-out, the epitome of a fast food burger. No single part of the burger stands out, but the burger as a whole is harmonious! Toasted buns, thousand island spread, and the ability to customize your burger as you wish at no additional charge(usually) = love. I get extra lettuce, extra tomatoes, pickles, and grilled onions!(You can also get whole grilled onions). Their fries are unlike any other. They make them fresh, and although that may lead to a different taste, I feel like it tastes lighter and more potato-y(if fries could ever be described as light). The workers often seem very friendly, and I enjoy that at this location, you actually get to see the burgers getting made. Side note: cool architecture Story time: I saw a woman many numbers after me in line complain because she was waiting too long and expected to just come«in-n-out». Props to the manager for calmly resolving the issue and giving her the order instead of just telling her to deal with it(although please, readers, don’t take advantage of this)

First time in LA and this is the first place I came to. The burgers were solid and the fries were okay. This location however had excellent service which were serving up burgers at a quick pace. Can’t wait to make it back to LA and have it this time Animal Style!

I like how in & out is on Unilocal, even though it doesn’t need it… I can only say that is the most efficient in & out around! Don’t get discouraged by the line… Unless it’s around the corner. I’ve timed it several times, entering the driveway with about 20 cars is about 15min. Double the speed of my hometown one. A+, I don’t think they have 1 bad item…

It’s extremely busy at this location(is there any location that isn’t busy???), but that doesn’t diminish the quality of the burgers. They’re always on point and well made. I’ve eaten here at least 10 times already and I have never had any complaints. I’ve eaten at shake shack and I honestly believe that In N Out is better. If you want to go to the drive through, you need to first get into the alleyway that is next to Tommy’s Tacos. You’ll probably see a long line there that extends southward on Gayley.

The drive-thru here is weird and usually runs out into the street. Other than that, it’s a great in n out. Come late on weekends to mingle with the college drunk kids.

tasty burgers, enough said. If you are here for the drive-through, it might take you a good 20 minutes to find the entrance. If you dine in, it might take same amount of time just waiting behind a bunch of UCLA students. but hey, who cares about 20 minutes when you know good burgers are coming your way.

Oh how I miss the joys of this In-N-Out…so many fond memories. and lack of memories. After landing at LAX at 11PM, my first stop in California was this specific In-N-Out. After four years of immense bonding, I could not have stopped by Westwood without a visit to my favorite drunchies spot(right behind Bella Pita). If you are trying to find a cheap, delicious, and all-around amazing breakfast, lunch, or dinner, spot, head down to In-N-Out. You will be presented with the simplest menu: a burger with one or two patties. The choice is yours, but I would highly recommend the double double. I mean why only have one delicious burger patty when you can have two. If you’re feeling ambitious, I would say hit up the fries and shake combo. The fries are literally going to be the freshest fries you’ll ever put in your mouth. You can see them cut the potatoes into fries and fry them right in front of you. Plus, they’re the perfect consistency! The shakes are offered in the three traditional flavors. If you’re looking to spicy up your meal, check out the secret menu. Google«In-N-Out secret menu» and you’ll find yourself a plethora of different variations of the original menu. Remember to ask for extra Spread to top it all off! Seriously though, you can’t go wrong with In-N-Out. If you’re a first-timer, get ready for a life-long addiction. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya.

A lot of Californians take In-N-Out for granted. It’s BYFAR the greatest fast food restaurant. It’s also the prime example of quality over quantity. Look at the menu, there’s not much, but it is much. Shake shack? PLEASE. It doesn’t even compare to In-N-Out. Not even close. Take a good look at this burger in my hand and tell me, face-to-face, that it isn’t #1.

The line is always so incredibly long. i got the food 15 min after i ordered and then i got a lot of uncooked french fries mixed in my togo bag. What going on? why they put raw food in the bag. nobody double check the order. I very dissapoint that!

The line is always so incredibly long, and there is usually no parking to go inside. The line honestly goes by so fast, so it’s not a concern to me. The fries sometimes can be soggy and the ratio of spread and cheese to French fri can be disappointing. However 4 stars because it always curbs my craving and hits the spot. It’s convenient, easy and quick. They give you a tray to eat in your car too! I usually get animal style fries or grilled cheese animal style. I just learned u can get a whole grilled onion in your burger and jalapeños. I want to try it next time but hopefully u read this review in time to try it before me!

YUMYUMYUM. whether it’s late night, munchiez, lunch, drunk hunger or a pit stop after the airport before you head home… IN N OUT is the move. The menu is straight forward so I’m not going to talk about that. What not many people know is that In N Out has a «secret menu»(you can look it up online) but they offer cooler/more options. One thing I always add to my cheese burgers(animal style add raw onions too) are yellow peppers aka pepperchini, banana peppers. It’s makes the burger 10x more better… If you like spicy. Animal fries… Shoot me. They’re my weakness. If you’re feeling really daring the milkshakes are great. If you have a sweet tooth. But, I always go with a small pink lemonade. I hardly ever go inside to order but back in the day the lines weren’t that bad and it’s fun sitting inside in the booths hanging out with your friends. There is also outdoor seating. The drive-thru line can get really long. Depends what hours you choose to go. Even though the line is long it does move fast so don’t let that scare you. There is almost always a nice man or woman standing outside taking your order before you get to the menu board with the speaker-person lol Enjoy your next In n Out and don’t forget to check out their secret menu! Ps– this goes for all drive thrus make sure they got your order correct before you start driving off

Wayne Gretzky. Michael Jordan. When you’re talking about the greatest of all time, the list is short. The simple fact of the matter is that declaring any one person or one thing to be the best is often subjective and prone to massive debate. However, we can add another one to the list, and that’s Westwood’s In-N-Out. Ah, yes, people will argue all day and night about Five Guys vs. In-N-Out vs. Dick’s vs. a million other places, really, but I’m not really here to debate. I’m simply talking about THIS In-N-Out in THIS location. Listen – students get really, really hungry. In fact, as I’m writing this very review, I find myself extremely hungry. It’s just basically a simple byproduct of using brain cells, exerting physical energy, or basically just surviving. When it comes to food options in Westwood, it’s safe to say that the options are plentiful but certainly not inspiring. You’re not going to find tons of super tasty choices at the end of the day, and even if you do, they’re not going to be the cheapest things ever for a student dropping Ben Franklins on textbooks. In comes the GOAT. In-N-Out. Burgers hovering around three bucks? Fries around two? Hundreds upon hundreds of calories and delicious, delicious saturated fats? Can I sign up yesterday? Simply put, you will enter In-N-Out hungry and angry, or hangry as the kids say these days, and leave satisfied and happy, or satippy, as absolutely no one says these days. The hamburgers are absolutely delectable, and I’m of the opinion that In-N-Out fries are some of the best fast food fries you can buy. So when you hear the hype surrounding In-N-Out, know that every single legend out there has had to face their fair share of haters. Like any GOAT, though, they rise above it.

I am a die hard fan of in-n-out but this location doesn’t have a parking lot. Luckily I was able to get parking nearby but don’t think that’s true for everyone else. Tip: if it’s your first time at in-n-out make sure you know that you can customize beyond the menu. I get protein style(lettuce wrap instead of a bun) and you can get more than double double — it goes in increments of 3 by 3 then 4 by 4 etc. Also animal style fries are delicious :)

We got the hamburger animal style with extra grilled onion and extra everything, with Neapolitan shake! It was delicious, when I shared half with a friend. It taste soo good when you’re hungry, but when you’re full I don’t think i can take another bite because its just so HEAVYLOL. its as good and taste differently than Shake Shack. The shake I wasn’t super amazed, Shake Shack’s shake is IMO better. Although I love how cheap it is and would LOVE to come back and get more! The first few bites are definitely amazing! I did not love the fries though, it was very soggy and not worth getting.

Save yourself time in the weird drive thru setup and walk in. We came in today at 5 and literally walked straight up to the register with ZERO line. Being that there’s many in n outs, no need to rate the food cuz its the same at all of them. Tho I will say, my chocolate shake at this location was super thick. Had to let it melt a little before I could even sip it thru my straw. Extra love for the FRESH in n out sign! Loved the décor here, made for some awesome photo ops :-) !

My favorite location. Unfortunately however it is also the location that has the longest lines. I think it’s because it’s frequented by all UCLA students. In any event at this specific location they always make really great burgers. Burgers that don’t have too much lettuce or too little sauce. Just the right amount in a perfect composition that fits your mouth. Of course the burgers are in and out quality so really great. My favorite is always the cheeseburger but animal style. But that’s not news to anybody who’s ever been to Los Angeles. Or California. This location has limited parking so drive through is probably your safest bet. Unfortunately, however, that means waiting in a long line. But at the end of the day, the burger and shakes are worth it. Fries are an acquired taste. Initially not everyone likes them but over time they grow on you.

My favorite fast food burger, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like In N Out burger. My Brother basically lives off In N Out. Anyways we went through the drive thru here today. We went to UCLA hospital for a check up and came to pick up a quick lunch to go before we had to hit the road to beat traffic. The drive thru here is kinda confusing because you have to go through an alley to get to it, but once you figure out where the drive thru is it’s pretty easy. My Mom and I both got double doubles with cheese and onions, protein style with some chili peppers on the side for some spice. I also got a lemonade to drink. I really like that you can get your burgers protein style here, it really helps me stay on my diet. The burgers were delicious and we were able to get out of LA and onto the road.

Thank god there is an In-n-Out in Westwood. I don’t know if it would be possible to live here without one. Don’t judge me, you know you feel the same. Anyway, this one is situated right near the corner of Gayley and Le Conte, as close as possible to the dorms, the apartments, the grad apartments, and campus. Perfect for everyone! The only bad thing about this one is how popular and crowded it gets during meal hours. Sometimes the line for the car goes all the way out onto the street, becoming a nuisance for everyone on Gayley. It isn’t much better ordering, walking in. The inside is one of the most spacious in-n-out’s that I have gone to, but it still gets really crowded during peak hours. I usually get the double double with grilled onions. You can also order the onions grilled without being chopped – in case that matters to some of you.

In n out never disappoints! This is the only other In N out in the West LA area unless you head a bit south and go to the location on Venice Blvd or further to Culver City on Washinton Blvd. This In n Out seems kind of hidden when you’re driving up to it. The drive thru line for this location is disguised as an Alley so be careful not to pass it. The line moved pretty quickly as they use their handheld ordering devices here. Staff was friendly and patient when taking my order. This location can get busy on the weekends but is less busier on weekdays. The cashier was attentive in making sure my order was the right order and that everything was how I wanted it. Overall a great location!
