I figured out why there’s so many bad reviews. Dr Yadegar is incredibly sweet, as is his pharmacist tech(whose name I don’t know, sadly). They’re always very friendly, have prescriptions ready literally minutes within calling, and they always ask about myself and my wife. So why all the negative reviews? I think the reason(besides not always being in stock with everything) is it’s retaliation for Dr Yadegar not filling prescriptions he thinks are fake. Story time — I came in the other day after my appendectomy, and there were two young girls who pulled up in an SUV. One of them ran in, and asked if she could get a prescription for percocet filled. He looked at the prescription note, declared it was invalid(only had a last name on it, plus it was very ratty and crumpled), and said he’s sorry, but he can’t fill it. She yelled at him, ran back to the car, her friend came in with another prescription for another pain killer, and yelled at him when he refused to serve her. Once again, the prescription looked like it was photocopied and pulled out of the trash. Long story short: Dr Yadegar will never fill your bogus prescription. He is a very kind, caring man, who does not mess around with drug abuse. Do NOT come here if you want to pop some pills and think this is the place to get them filled. He’s not someone you can fool so easily. However, if you want a pharmacist who will make sure you’re taken care of quickly, cares about your health, and makes you feel like family, come here. I’ll never go anywhere else.

I work at a physicians office less than a block away and would not recommend this pharmacy. They do not carry basic prescription medications and will not order them for you. The staff is not helpful. The pharmacist is not helpful. You will get better care at Walgreens a couple blocks from here(Beverly Glen and SM Blvd).

As another poster mentioned, this isn’t CVS or the pharmacy section at Target; it’s a small, family-owned business, so there aren’t endless aisles of products. HOWEVER, I’m really glad to be a loyal customer here. My prescriptions are filled immediately – never, ever a wait – and the pharmacist is the nicest guy on earth. He knows my name, he asks about my family, and he’s always willing to work with me when I need extra assistance.(I.e. one of my doctors is back in New York, and he’ll always call him for a prescription refill for me!) It just feels good to support local businesses, and Imperial makes it easy with their personal service.

This is pretty standard for a non-chain local pharmacy, it is limited in products and hours, BUT they have these AMAZING capsacian or capsicum patches(from Japan I think) that really help with lower back pain, burns so good! I haven’t seen them in other pharmacies, this one introduced me to them.
