I’ll get it out of the way early: the only reason I won’t give this place a 5 star is the wine selection. Although there are a couple good bottles, for the most part it’s not a very good selection. That said, I love that this place recently opened up in our neighborhood. The craft beer selection gets better by the day with breweries like Ska from Durango, CO and the Icelandic White Ale from Einstok that I’m drinking right now. The owner is a nice guy who makes you feel good the moment you walk through the door. If there’s something you want that you don’t see, he’ll bring it in — like he did for me with the Bulleit Bourbon and Rye. If all that’s not your thing, they also have the cheapest domestic cans in the neighborhood. Give this place a shot. It’s worth stopping in.
