I have lived in this area my whole life and this place never really caught my eye until they remodeled it. So the family and I decided to try it out. The buffet food is really good. The plus side is that the tortillas are hand made! Place is family owned and by my experience, it is almost as good as the Mercadito but better priced. Only thing is that there isn’t much of a variety of food at the buffet as Hometown, etc. but it is good enough for the price that is being paid. Another thing is that place is real clean!

I really wanted to like this place. I kept telling my husband to give them the benefit of the doubt, that they had just opened and as a person who has worked at restaurants that are barely opening knew how hard it is. At first the staff was nice and helpful, prices seemed reasonable and the décor though plain was ok. When we got our drinks they were hot when aguas frescas are meant to be cold and refreshing. The food portions were tiny, the burrito was tiny it fit in my hand and cost about $ 6, way over priced, and as time passed the staff became absent and rude. Honestly I would never come back or recommend this place to anyone.
