A few days ago I had to meet a friend at Farmers Market on Fairfax and 3rd. We had a couple of burgers from a place adjacent to Fairfax Ave. I think it was called«Charlie’s» and we decided to get a beer with our lunch at E. B’s next door. At the bar there was this extremely huge and very unpleasant women with some kind a «pirate» hair covering. We tried to order our beers, so we asked her if the bar was serving any light beers. She totally ignored us. She was talking to another costumer that I thought she was very acquainted with, so we asked again and she just burst at us and said that she was busy and we had to wait. At that moment the bar had only two customer, the one she was talking to and another man with his glass of beer half empty. Me and my friend decided to leave her alone with her extremely busy bar!!!

Fun place in Farmers Market for some beer or wine. Best when live bands are playing.

We’ve tried this bar on my last visit to the Farmer’s Market. The beer selection it’s just OK, could be improved, especially the ones on draft. Maybe a few darker brews could be added? The actual bar area is small, but decent, can’t say I’m a fan of their TV-s. $ 6 regular price for a beer is OK. $ 4 for H.H. M-F. We tried the 805, it’s a Firestone brew, Pale Ale, just OK, it lacks some bite. Service is very slow, I’m pretty patient, but it took forever to get that beer! Just one person working, she was nice, but they might need more people working here. An OK place to stop by for a drink while having a snack or dinner. Or just a drink at the bar.

We got here just in one for happy hour ! $ 4 for all drafts and $ 16 pitchers. Pretty decent selection for both beers and wines. The bartender let me try a couple of beers until I decided which one I wanted. Great place to grab some brews.

The one star is for $ 4 beer during happy hour, other than that, it’s almost not worth the bad attitude from the daytime bartender,(older big woman with glasses & head bandana). Everything we’ve been here she is unwelcoming until it’s tip time, then she switches it. Today she lifted her hand at us when we asked for another round and said, «you’re going to need to wait because someone else should have been here by now.» Absolutely no customer service & I’m def not leaving a tip. How ungrateful to have such a fun job & be so miserable/rude to guests.

The best thing about this bar is everything. You know that weird guy you see strolling the farmers market that legend tells once owned the farmers market but is prolly just a crazy guy who likes mole tacos? Well you can see him here. They just opened that German beer garden which looks mysteriously like what Friday’s would call a beer garden and the beer there is like $ 11. The beer here is $ 4. Also, I realized the other day and by realized I mean my brother made the comment, the farmers market is LA’s biggest beer garden, but with Mole Tacos. If I was EB, I’d put a huge sign over by the entrance that says $ 4 Beer Garden, but spell it like Beir Gaten so people are more comfortable taking selfies there.

I really like this spot. Small, intimate, and friendly. Good selection of beer and wine. It’s a great way to end a day at the grove. It’s a bit hard to find if you haven’t been there before, but look for the dimly lit red bar.

Small section of beer and wine, most of the wine is ok for the price, but some is just bad. The mimosas are the best. Also good service.

Serving marvelous beers(some on tap). This is a great meeting place to hang out, well actually anytime. Its to me the best lively atmosphere in the farmer’s market, bartenders are definitely friendly, bubbly and smart! me and hubby frequent this awesome place! Happy is the word.

Great place to have a beer or other bev, especially watching a game. Small enough to fit in the northwest corner of the Farmers Market, yet big enough to open up for live music(weekends and other times). And it’s especially cool to just meet up with friends when the place is not all the busy. Relaxed, outdoors, yet still enclosed in the Market. Happy Hour is worth a visit, too. 4−7p on weekdays. Good selection of drafts, and a few wines, too. They don’t serve food, of course, but look around — you can’t beat the selection of cuisines at the Farmers Market. Bring your food over, or carry your drink to another FM establishment.

When you need to get a beer and people watch, it’s hard to beat this friendly open spot. Guiness, a couple of IPAs, and a few others on tap. Team trivia on certain nights(Thrusdays I think) and a great spot to take in the local color.

This is my «local» bar and one of my favorite places to get a beer in town. The bartenders are always friendly and the happy hr is great. My wife and I just can’t help being happy when we’re here. And the people watching it superb. There are a lot of interesting characters here.

I love it here, I don’t know what it is about the place, but I just love being here. It’s nice having a beer bar in the farmers market. I usually find myself wanting to grab a beer here just because of the atmosphere. The prices and the selection are average, it’s just the parking that would get you. Parking is free for 2 hours after you get validation, but the parking lot is usually very busy and crowded. I spend about 5 – 10 minutes driving around the tiny parking lot behind other cars looking for a space. I get lucky at times, but I have left before from the frustration. Don’t park at the Grove’s parking structure and expect to get validation though!

Tired of shopping at The grove? Need a break without paying $ 12 for a cocktail? Yeah EB’s is the spot. Well no cocktails but grab a beer for about $ 5 and relax

I like being out in La at the Old Farmers Market. Many places to shop at and eat. I luv EB’s! The Cider is good and prices are decent. They are busy but Its kewl just to sit and relax and enjoy a nice cider or beer. The open area is relaxing and refreshing. This is the place to sit and have a drink and enjoy weather alone or with friends …

This is probably the chilliest and most down to earth spot at the Grove. If you find yourself exhausted from all the chain restaurants, overpriced stores, and fancy lights look no further than E.B.‘s Beer & Wine. It’s an outdoor bar located in the farmers market. Really low-key and mellow. You can sit at the bar or you can grab a table to the side. They have a solid selection and the prices are really decent. You can order food from any of the little shops at the market and chug it down with a cold brewski. LIFEISGOOD. They have beer on tap that you can order by the PITCHER. You’re surrounded by every single food you can think of at your arms reach. That’s as good as it gets! They validate for up to 2 hours so don’t forget!

Their red wines were horrible and the bar smelled like an old bar rag… Had a mimosa for $ 7 how do you mess that up? They do offer happy hour but I am not sure that’s the bar I’ll return to.
